I swear I never have luck finding competent groups like this one seems to be lol I usually get the guys who just barely got into super helldive and think the weapon buffs make them invincible XD
For me it will play a big role again when i get Freedoms Flames. Already got Democratic Detonation.
Thats the build im looking forward to:
- Primary: Torcher
- Secondary: Nade Pistol for closing holes
- Nades: Thermite for the big bugs
- Strata Weapon: MG43/Auto Cannon. Former offers better crowd control while the latter lets me snipe nests. Both crush medium bugs
- Napalm Eagle
- MG Sentry. Firepower on demand. That cooldown makes it amazing.
- Gatling Sentry/Jetpack/more bullets/etc. Whatever i feel like mixing in.
Thermite and MG43 offers great synergy with a less recoil and +2 nades armor. Cause when shit hits the fan and there re lots of big bugs only 3 Thermites can be a let down. Less recoil speaks for itself.
And i dont like having to rely on orbital boss killers. Cause their cooldown makes you have your pants down way too often.
Are you lowering the RoF to maximize the mag efficiency by not "over-killing the chaff?
Yes, but imo you just gotta tap it at higher rpm, you get the benefit of killing things faster and also saving your ammo by not spamming it
Lowering the rate of fire seems to be a more efficient way of killing the bigger things. If you Max it out and don't tap it you're going to blast through your box very quickly. And on higher levels it's not optimal to sit there for 4 seconds reloading
Max it and learn to burst. Very effective weapon
@@ClumsyDrow They just have to let you reload on the move. This support weapon is too weak to take up the support slot, AND have you stand still for every reload.

I can confirm that it's a headshot master. Kills and swaps to next target very quickly.
Just focus on guards n heavies so it doesn't waste ammo on them.
I find it unreliable in a sense that you have to be pretty close to the enemies before it shoots anything.
However Gatling/MG sentries can headshot devastators pretty reliably also kills chaff and berserker super fast too.
I've ran a triple sentry(MG/Missile, Gatling and Autocannon sentry) set up on bots along with a Spear or Recoiless and Eruptor or Crossbow on 10s bots
Guard dog liberator is S tier against bots and it’s very good when paired with the MG . It’ll cover you while you reload and helps deal with the little ones while you save the MG for the medium sized threats. It can kill entire hunter packs in one mag - it almost feels like a mg turret following you around
Honestly every fire rate on the mg has its use. It’s just a great bug gun.
This + jetpack goes crazy
Incin breaker + mg + thermite+ supply pack and the armor that grants + 2 grenades is so good. Thermites will delete chargers, incin breaker for hunters and mg for every other enemy. Bile titans will be a problem, but who isnt running 500kg? Plus you for sure will have other teammate with BT killing capabilities. Try it if you like the MG, its so much fun.
I basically run that setup, just with peak physique armor and a crossbow for easy bug hole closing and deleting spewers
Yeah this load out is confirmed gas ⛽️ use it all the time with 500kg + clusters
@@methodman6725 I just came back from a super helldive with friends. switched the mg for a grenade launcher because the amount of bugs rewards the "dear grid coordinates" approach to saturation of fire.
I havent brought 500s since the update. I use the thermite grenades for everything big. Supply pack is a must. Try the arc thrower. Stuns everything and throws alpha commanders backwards quite a bit. Stalkers just freeze and die. Use the orbital napalm as well. Tons of fun

It makes sense, but I do hope flame can cause bugs panic
This is my biggest critique of flame weapons and why I don’t use them, the lack of any kind of pushback makes them so unappealing to me, however I tend to avoid bugs in general because I hate getting swarmed by hunters.

@@GameFuMaster I think it’s more a matter of what guns would physically push things back. The unrelenting hive mind tide of bugs don’t care about throwing away their lives. (Also giving flamethrower stagger force would make it a lil too crazy, if you are able to get a friend on with the blitzer or arc thrower it works great)
@@tachunky663 right, and you're standing between them and the bugs, meaning you might accidentally get targeted.
Use another gun if you're going to rely on someone else pushing them away, because it's going to be way more reliable
Its not an mg 43 man its just an m60 basically, i wish it had the fire rate. Or if a teammate manned a new mg42 machine gun you could shoot like 500 rounds straight at like 1200 rpm. But only aim prone or crouched, thatd be so cool, with insane recoil except prone

Do you aim at a certain point on the nest holes or is it just instinct inda thing from getting better. I can get thwm with grenades almost every time but almost alway miss with the pistol and cross bow even when im lined up with it and positive im aiming at the corrct place. I noticed one time you aimed almost at the very bottom center.

Says who? I like being a bastard with a shield and scavenging POIs for ammo, and samples for my teammates... Mostly ammo.
