We were in your shoes during last Prevost shop, first we didn't want to pay $$$$$$$, no slides plus an engine without any emission regulation was our goal, But we end buying a 2007 Marathon coach H3 triple slides with a big 14L Detroit series 60 engine in the back and we love it......... You have a beautiful coach with a LOT of history ...enjoy....
WOW that is an amazing coach you have. We wish we had a double slide, but are thankful for what we do have. Given the opportunity I would only buy Detroit 60 series pre def. It is bullet proof:) Will you all be at the Prevost Only show in Feb?
I worked for a bus company. They had Prevost coaches. I absolutely loved them. It was Greyhound buses or our Coaches. Prevost is not a bus in any way. It's a Motorcoach. Everything about a Prevost is a step above the rest.
Guys Thank you so much to make a videos as requested. loved this information packed video. I am sure it wasn't as easy one to copile all together, you guys are great. Thank you so much.
Indeed. A lot of questions I had was answered here on what the parents did to afford all this LOL> Very wisely done here. Still, we may never know how the Home Alone dad afforded that huge mansion. Rumor has it, he was real estate and she a seamstress.
Love you guys and your stories. The kids still talk about spending the afternoon with y'all at Hilton Head last Christmas. Hopefully we can meet up again soon. 30:24 Bloppers? That's a new term 🤣
Amazing story. Thanks so much for sharing y’all’s experiences. Never heard anyone discuss this process with buying and converting a Prevost bus. Amazing. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great videos,, you all are naturals in front of a camera😊. Great editing too, always impressed. I would love to experience a weekend with your lifestyle! Travel safe! 💕💕💕
I've had 3 coaches over the years. The first two were Marathons and the last which I still have is a Newmar. The Marathons both had Over The Road Air (OTRA) as the shells were ordered that way from Prevost. My Newmar does not have any Over The Road type air system. The question you ask about "to do or not to do" is what I used to call the $25,000 question as my first two Marathons each cost about that amount more for the extra OTRA. At that time I lived in Oregon and much of my travel was in cooler climates. Yes, I did use the OTRA but always questioned if the loss of that center bay was worth it. Now with my Newmar as luck would have it I live in a desert climate and wish so many times I had that OTRA system again. None of us like having to start and run the generator to cool down and travel in a coach and the Dash Air systems on all coaches are so inadequate it's not funny. With the advent of the newer Lithium Battery Systems some of the top models Newmar now makes allows you to run up to 2 roof airs off the Lithium battery bank so for me that would be the best of all worlds. My next coach will have this feature for sure.
Wow, what an amazing journey! You have really perfected your motor home to fit your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing and the bloopers at the end 😅 Much love from Sydney, Australia ❤❤
I guess we are all nosey and I see I’m not the only person asking. How much did you pay for the Bus and how much did the build cost you? And how did you go about searching or finding your Bus? What year? How much for the paint job?
We built during Covid. Prevost are typically custom built so the price is going to vary greatly with the type of finishes the owner chooses. The paint job was included in the build out. The bus is a 2008. It had 28K miles when we bought it and now has 47K miles.
Nice bus, I could not help but notice in comments I see no mention of $$$$ What did the bus cost to start with. Any repairs made. What was the cost to convert that you paid for your finishes.
We contracted with the converter who had bough the bus at auction. There were tons of repairs and we basically built from the ground up. Thanks for watching and hope you continue to enjoy our channel.
How about some of the costs...... How many miles are on the motor they say they will run fine for a million miles. Any changes or in a new rig will you make changes. I loved the AGM battery vs. lithium battery video. I don't think I would like lithium either..... it's cold here in Minnesota for most winters.
The coach had 27K miles on it when we bought it. We are now at 48K. IT basically sat on the border. The generator had 12,500 hours on it:) I would consider Lithium again but with a new understanding of how they work and what we would need to do in order to make them work. As for the cost we contracted at the beginning of Covid. The cost is completely different today and it ultimately comes down the owners taste as to what it would cost.
What an adventure to be able to choose your layout on the bus? Don't you guys have a nickname for it yet? I love how Willis/Jason has the "Daily Strength for Men" devotion book in his room. I use the Daily Bread, but I can see how verses specifically for men would be helpful being the Daily Bread is often more enjoying life rather than preparing for it. Does it seem targeted for men in the verses or devotion it uses, or does it seem random? I'm doing a Sunday School lesson on Eph. 6 spiritual armor. I am also using William Gurnall's "Christian in Complete Armour" (sic) to do it. He is form the 17t century so he thinks deeply and different than we do today. His work is free public domain if you want to find it. Both reading to you and reading.
Thanks for noticing! We felt as a young man he needed to be learning all he could about becoming a great Godly man. We will look at the other resource you mentioned! Thank you!
Sorry but it would have been better if you bought this bus from the government dirt cheap, and did everything yourself instead of making choices and letting someone else do the work, I guess having money (lots) only proves "poor" people can't afford things like this.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately that is not in the cards for us. I don't have the ability to do that work. We have to work daily in order to make this lifestyle happen and I am not near that handy.

Thanks for sharing. Personally I love it but I would not include if we were building from scratch! We could use the extra bay space.
Love how he gets the pantry for the clothes & she gets hers next to the bed
It started as my closet, but we needed a little extra space. It works for us! Thanks for watching!
Looks great! Only thing I would change would be to switch the wheels out for chrome Alcoas.
They were chrome to start. We choose black to make it look more modern.
Beautiful renovation! Looks awesome.
Thank you!
I really like your videos keep up the good work Tiny ( Len Price ) Houston MS
Thanks Len!

Thank you!!! That is dads job to make things fun:) Welcome and hope you continue to enjoy our channel!
Great conversion story it turned out beautiful! I'm surprised the govt bus even had the one slide.
Thanks for watching! We are thankful it did. Otherwise we could not have done it!
Congratulations on both of you you guys did a beautiful job on your bus
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
WOAH!! What a cool story!! Your bus is BEAUTIFUL! Maybe one day we do a house swap?? ⛵😉🤔
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

You have a beautiful rig. We’re going Super C
Thank you! What kind of Super C are you going to get?
Hello, Amazing home!! Can you please tell me where/how you found your Prevost? Is there a website that lists them from the border?
Our converter Nashville Coach found it at auction. That is why we used them for the build out.
Nice bus, I could not help but notice in comments I see no mention of $$$$ What did the bus cost to start with. Any repairs made. What was the cost to convert that you paid for your finishes.

Good info, did u purchase the coach from an auction
No, our converter did.
great job
Thank you!!!!
Ah, yeah the most important question was unanswered!? How much did all this cost??
We built during Covid. Prevost are typically custom built so the price is going to vary greatly with the type of finishes the owner chooses.
How did you all find the bus from the government?
Our converter purchases at an auction. Not sure where thought.

good morning greetings i recommend the company loki coach 2025 prevost h3-45 three slide
Loki makes a beautiful coach for sure.
What was the total cost?
We built during Covid. Prevost are typically custom built so the price is going to vary greatly with the type of finishes the owner chooses.
Very nice 👍🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you!
Illegal immigrants even get to ride in Prevost as soon as they touch American soil.
Incredible.
They didn't ride anywhere. It was just a holding and processing area. But I understand what you mean😡
@@TheShinpaughs yes “processing “. Another words, handing them checks and free accommodations at four star hotels. lol
This was used long before that era. Its a 2008
I've heard you speak of working from the RV. What type job allows you to be able to do this? It sure sounds like my kind of a job!!
You must have not watched the video sir. Check around the 14:00 minute mark for your answer. 😉😉
We are in the real estate and mortgage business.
Bus air 100%
Im 50/50 for it. Love it but not sure its worth the cost and space for us.
No human being is illegal. Such a disgusting term. You should know better. Undocumented yes but illegal no Such a vile and disgusting term
whats wrong with calling them illegal? i mean, they are illegaly entering the country
