HELLO ITS HER OTHER BOY FRIEND. haha i wish. the black cylinder shapped thing is a EVAP canister... stores fuel vapors, nothing to do with a no start. you said you have spark at the plugs if you do then take off the air box and give it a squirt of carb cleaner/brake cleaner or gasoline into each throttle bore, then try and start it. ( your fuel pump is working but you you dont know if the injectors are sqirting fuel) if the bike starts roughly for a second or two its a fuel problem.. if there is no change go back to the ignition, you have to have spark if you do not you have to do a compression test. the 3 major events to make a motor run is spark fuel and compression. and all 3 have to be optimum. healthy blueish red spark/ 14:1 air fuel/mechanical compression of at least 100psi on a motorcycle. no cylinder below 10% from the others...the one thats low could have carbon build up/burned valve seat/ jumped cam. if all this sounds Chinese to you get a certified mechanic.
bad starter relay would not let the starter turn, same for solenoid (if anything it would've been weak). I would've suggested something fuel related. pinched fuel hose, fuel filter, or fuel pump are all culprits. Seafoam usually helps and as the op mentioned, checking pressure.
I should let you guys know I fixed it. After checking the "kill switch" (which was a good suggestion) and the wires and he starter it finally ended up being the fuel pump. It was turning on but no pressure, a simple pressure gauge and some tubing helped me figure out the problem. New pump and started right up. Sorry about the late reply I forgot I posted this. Now I can share with the world.
ty. Did you check the code when you were having this problem? If you have a CHECK then you have a code. I have C41 and same problem. Didn't lay the bike down.
Yo bro I got the same problem but when I turn the switch to start priming it it won’t stop priming just keeps clicking and won’t turn on I recently changed the stater rectifier and battery so I know it’s not that
I have a 08 gsxr 1000 I was ridding one and pulled the clutch in and cracked the throttle and the bike died hasn't started since have all lights just no fuel pump or starter when u hit the start button the lights go out until u let off please help
What hose is that hanging in front of the stator cover. I slid not to long ago and I have the same hose hanging after I changed my stator cover. I can't figure out what it runs to.
if u can't hear the fuel pump noise is the relay or fuel pump test the fuel pump ,,100% is becouse the bike was on a bad rain and by the ignition key broke the fuel pump relay and this relay is under the gas tank and under air box the one is on you right hand .. the num of this relay is G8MS S23 make sure you clean the ignition key first easy like apply wd40 and play w the key up and down
Have you checked your starter relay or starter solenoid. Starter relay has a fuse with it; could have blown. Try checking all the wires; if wires are loose, it can cause that problem not turning over. Check those out bro and let me know if this helps
I just laying down my 2006 gsxr1000 the same side like you and my bike won't even try to start I also change the motor oil cluch cover on the side just like you did and I check everything fuel pump works but there's no started trying to start do you got any idea? what's wrong maybe fuse for the starter? ?
I’m having the same problem right now with my R6 i turn the ignition switch on and try priming it but instead of it stop priming it won’t stop priming and won’t turn on I recently changed the starter rectifier and battery so I know it’s not that I was thinking maybe could be the fuel pump ? ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I am having the same issue, but unfortunately in my case, my 2006 gsxr 600 doesn't even make any sound. I turned on the kill switch but no sound or nothing. The cluster lights are on and the neutral light is on. It just says CHEC but when i try to press the start button, nothing happens. Though everytime i try to start it, the headlight does go dim but nothing else happens. Checked the battery, its 100% charged. Any ideas or comments please...
***** Well i actually tried to turn on/off the kill switch multiple times but no results but i found that my gear was on Neutral but the neutral light was not on so i tried shifting my gears from 1 - N - 2 and back to neutral and eventually the neutral light turned on and then everything worked fine. I guess mine was more of gear shift issue than the kill switch. I am not sure if yours is the same but nothing wrong in trying. good luck
I did the same thing and there is a kill switch under the passenger seat. Check and see if it came unloose or if it went upside down. Normally when you lay it down the kill switch activates. Just a thought
hey man i got the same problem.. how you solve it? i made a lot of test and i cant fix it/.. some says that i need to reset something.. i dont know what..
Reset? Might probably be the Idle Speed Control. Or some say the Idle Position Sensor. Theres a kit for that, which diagnose the problem. Just plug in and reset.

Did u fix it? I had same problem. It was my tip over sensor. I used resistors to cancel out tip over switch/sensor
when you changed stator cover did you change the stator and rectifier hope this helps

John Doe as soon as you were trying to turn the bike over I immediately knew it was a fuel pump
Where did u buy the fuel pump?
So can u please tell me what exactly I have to do
Yo bro I got the same problem but when I turn the switch to start priming it it won’t stop priming just keeps clicking and won’t turn on I recently changed the stater rectifier and battery so I know it’s not that
It's the tip over sensor located in the tail. It needs reset!!!
How is it?
the tip over sensor is right infront of the battery tray
Vape canister for California emissions... Thats what that canister is on the back..
I have a 08 gsxr 1000 I was ridding one and pulled the clutch in and cracked the throttle and the bike died hasn't started since have all lights just no fuel pump or starter when u hit the start button the lights go out until u let off please help
Still your tilt sensor
Check the fuel line has a little filter in the end that did it for me
What hose is that hanging in front of the stator cover. I slid not to long ago and I have the same hose hanging after I changed my stator cover. I can't figure out what it runs to.
Those two hoses are the vent line and overflow from the fuel tank. They run down the inside of the left fairing and vent to atmosphere.
tip over sensor. trust me. but good luck with it all.

ok sorry. for the insult comment i did but if the info was a bad word for u deal w that .
ok dear mechanic get over it fighting on internet??? child
Mine won’t crank at all but the odometer lights comes on trying to figure out why.
Just so ppl know don't switch the power near the brakes a lot not good for the battery
i got same problem with my YZ600
what should i do?

Are you stupid the bike was cranking over
tip over sensor bro
Vince Castillo what's tip sensor an where's it at

Jose Gregorio Rodriguez i got the same problem did you figure it out what is the problem? please help
Chek the ignition fuse and if not that, most probably gonna be your Tip Over Sensor
How did you solve the start up problem? Can you please tell me. I have the same problem with my 04 Gsxr.
did u find outs wuts going on?
Try the starter clutch
I’m having the same problem right now with my R6 i turn the ignition switch on and try priming it but instead of it stop priming it won’t stop priming and won’t turn on I recently changed the starter rectifier and battery so I know it’s not that I was thinking maybe could be the fuel pump ? Puneet Mittal what did your issue end up being??? My bike is doing that as well 2005 1000
I bet it's the 30 amp fuse right off the battery that leads to the starter solenoid
@@deeznuhs hey bro you ever figure your's out I'm having the same issue I'm thinking it's the neutral safety sensor
Any update on this, my bike is now doing it
I know this is old but I don't hear your fuel pump coming on..which would do it
Tht sounds lyk ur tip sensor.
Bump it man
Remove the charcoal canister in the tail section
