My diesel mechanic (very good and sharp shop) said to avoid water based solutions or wet solutions and blow the radiator coils carefully with a compressed air tool. Avoid clotting after the liquid dries.

I would say no. NuBrite is or can be very strong. It was created for the HV/AC industry.
It works great for your condenser coils on the outside.
It smells like oven cleaner and it will burn your skin like oven cleaner.

Thank you for this but did you ever consider-
1.Cutting down the amount of chemicals by scrubbing it with a non-damaging brush instead of wasting all that water over and over.
2.Containing the waste and disposing of the chemicals and toxic waste bi-product you created properly.
3.Wearing gloves to prevent chemicals into the skin?
4.Saving our environment for our children and future generation so they can have clean drinking water.
5.Please keep our Planet clean. We are only passing GUESTS here, humans dont own the planet. Surprised?
    We dont. It's not ours.
    🙏
