    Try reverse flushing the radiator by putting your garden hose onto bottom of radiator and pushing the contaminants up through and out of the radiator neck.

    When a cooling system is well and truly cleaned out I always use Rain water only , anti freeze , and lathe oil Yes lathe oil its water soluble ,, it never shits up again with rust,, rain water does not have lime scale ,,
    P S,, Clean a white plastic header tank,, take it off put sand,, liquid soap,, and water in it,, put cap on and cover holes your hands,, then shake for a minute or two,,empty it wash it with clean water and it looks like new,,

    I think that white stuff might be from the inner lining of one yours hose about go. The black stuff might be from the plastic parts on your radiator breaking down. I don't think this mixture would clean much, don't be fooled by the fizzing. People use the same mixture to clean garbage disposal. I wasn't impressed by its cleaning power and wouldn't dump it into my coolant system. Regular flush products neutralize the minerals found in tap water. The 2nd, 3rd, 4th...etc. flush would be done with distilled water or else you are just adding the contaminates back into the system.

    You can put a strainer like female stocking 5 inch long to catch things between thermostat and radiator.
    If temperature rises fast, strainer is packed and blocked the water passage. Then remove things and put strainer back.
    In my case with bmw radiator, it has space in the incoming hot water side to put strainer long. It had caught big amount of head gasket sealer fiber.

    Adding baking soda makes little sense as it would simply neutralize the vinegar. The vinegar used straight will dissolve the limescale build up since lime is a base like baking soda. In fact a more aggressive acid like Muriatic acid 50% with water will really take care of it. Then after that, drain and add water with baking soda in it to neutralize any remaining acid in the system. Basic science.....no pun intended.

    You just introduced minerals into your cooling system by adding tap water. You should only use DISTILLED water when flushing your system. Once drained, purchase a pre-50/50 mix antifreeze to refill your system, there won’t be any guessing when it comes to the proper mixture.

    • @condor5635
      @condor5635 4 года назад

      Servant of Christ - won't be any guessing but you would have done it wrong... you see after draining and running distilled water through the system you have to use 100% concentrate coolant to get anywhere near 50% final mixture. Do the math. If you drain 50% and fill with distilled and the run the engine and once or twice draining again in between you now have water in the other 50% of the system. Only way to get 50/50 is to fill with 100% coolant. Most videos do this incorrectly because they don't know the drained amount and the total capacity. What you end up with is a 70/30 or 80/20 mix doing it with premix.

    Check this out don't ever do this first of all if you already have radiator problems and nasty dirty Rusty mud you probably have Sirius problems and a possible breach with gaskets and seals especially your head gasket being metal the electrolysis loves to eat that metal that's why old-school mechanics attach a ball of zinc to a chain below the cap to rest in the coolant so the electrolysis will eat the zinc first before it eats the aluminum in your motor. You can't just create a massive pressure inside of a motor like this that's already old and compromised okay anybody who ever got away with doing this got lucky and they did it even this guy knows they did it with very little water I mean you can't just introduce massive amounts of pressure in this motor it's only designed to withstand so much pressure that's why you have an oil pressure gauge when it goes to high your motor blows up well if you do this wrong you're going to blow your head gaskets are going to blow all kinds of seals oh have fun with that main seal yeah I dare you guys to try this and if you do on your vehicle that you commute with or anything like that you're an idiot do it on something that you do not care about because it's a 50-50 or less... and flushing your radiator is not expensive for less than $10 you can get the stuff that's actually designed to degrease the motor and actually eat away build up and corrosion and rust not to mention that Degreaser is very important I mean you're going to strip everything out of there and like I said seals are done I mean they make these products for a reason and yes even I know there are some products out there that are way overrated and probably don't even work and that you could probably do much better with household items Bay this just because you're seeing someone doing it doesn't mean he's a genius and doesn't mean it worked and if you got any kind of positive results he got lucky and he knows this because you can't do this on any vehicle and he knows this I don't even know why someone would share this like it's some sort of Genius trick...

    Wrong!!... remove thermostat, then use filtered water with dish soap and let it run until hot.. you may add a bit of automatic transmission fluid to soften the corrossion. Let it cool and flush with clean water until it runs clean... Next, use filtered water with vinegar (mild acid) to fill radiator and run until hot. Let it cool and flush with clean water until clean. Repeat the process but use baking soda (base,neutralizes acid). Flush with water until runs clean (may be tap water). THEN before adding high quality coolant, fill the systen with filtered water to displace tap water (hard water with minerals), then flush.. and for last, add engine coolant to a clean radiator. If you live in tropical weather, you may not put back the thermostat. If you live in cold freezing weather, you may want to put back the thermostat to allow the engine to get warm faster.

      Older vehicles with metal radiators made from copper and aluminum acid flushes were common and worked. These new plastic radiators are made to be thrown away and replaced. Even the air holes are smaller and you can clog them more trying to pressure wash them out. Old metal radiators had more airflow and easy to clean out

    Best option is remove radiator mix kerosin baking soda, petrol and detergent one t spoon each with 6 liter water soak over night and mild pressure for at least 6 times, then your Will be cleaned 80%

      His coolant looked like mine when my water pump impeller had completed deteriorated. Turned that rust color with that crap chunks and he has metal chunks on-the-ground. I bet his water pump is on its way to failure. Mine still worked in traffic. Started to slightly run warm in traffic. But not so much in the cooler months. Had to pull the heads and timing cover and discovered it then. It still functioned to the point red flags weren't raised yet. Now I just change it once a year. Every summer it's drained and refilled with new coolant. It may say 150,000 miles but coolant shouldn't go more then 2 years without being changed. Additives wear out. Its cheap enough to have no reason not to. 15 dollars a year. So fuel filter at the same time. 25 dollar peace of mind yearly. If more people would just look and do things like that they could see warning signs before a hose ruptures most of the time. Instead of not looking go to shop to change oil or replace battery most people never see the condition of their accessories

      Triple acción isn't the viniger is neutralized by sodium bicarbonate? Why this still works?

    • @papabones6307
      @papabones6307 5 лет назад +4

      @@shimondoodkin Vinegar is a natural cleaner, rust remover, and Crud cutter. Mixed with vinegar it foams causes a chemical reaction that transforms both into a mild carbonic acid solution & releases co2 gas. inegar and baking soda are two chemical compounds that, when reacted together, create carbon dioxide. Baking soda is the chemical sodium bicarbonate, NaHCO3. Vinegar is mainly acetic acid, when mixed they form carbonic acid, which is unstable at room temperature in the presence of water and immediately breaks into H2O and CO2. That's what you're seeing. The CO2 gas being formed and bubbling out of the misty solution (the mist comes from the excess baking soda.) This bubbling of solution makes a volcanic like reaction because the gas is trying to escape. This foaming action along with the acidic properties help to remove oxidized metals, as well as calcium buildup, and rust.
