There's usually public transportation in airports depending on where you're going like: trains, bus shuttles. It's still cheaper than cabs. Try to book a room through Airbnb or any other website (many offer paiement per night or week). It's better to book it in advance because you don't want to be lost upon landing.

In Vancouver, the weather is much warmer. It very rarely snows or goes below zero. But in Toronto, you’ll find a lot more diversity and people from all over the world, including a bigger Nigerian population.
