    Hi, Zoe here. My apologies that the video quality on my side goes bad at around half way through this video. I hope it doesn't impede your viewing experience too much.
    I'll soon be interviewing Cuban student and FIRE intern Justo Antonio Triana, the smart and based bodybuilder and sports scientist Dr Mike Israetel, terrorism expert Suha Hassen, Holocaust survivor Olga Horak, and Quillette writer Matt Johnson.
    Who would you like to see on the Quillette Cetera podcast next?

      I didn't have time to listen to the issues right now, but when you said that you were in Indonesia, I became less interested if you are really interested in women's rights why would you give money to a country that supports Islam? Our people keep going to Islamic countries getting raped and murdered, abused, abducted, etc. I would like to hear you comment on that. Thanks.

    I like how Dr. Farrel said we need to focus on the fact the other opinion may very well come from a genuine desire to do good. Even if we expect negtive outcomes from that policy or idea.
    I know that SOME individuals are motivated by malice, but it is important to avoid the belief that, as examples;
    Environmentalists don't love the environment, they just hate people.
    Marxists don't love the poor, they just hate the rich.
    F'nists don't love vvomen, they just hate men.

      5:00 - First of all, how is it in anyway obvious that he DID target women? He killed A MAN, what was that? "Friendly fire"? He was a 40 year-old NOTHING who'd spent DECADES in a state of drug induced catatonia, and then woke up after 20 years and realized that he WAS NOTHING. His act wasn't political. IT WAS EXISTENTIAL, he thought: "before I go be the NOTHING I am, I'm GOING TO BE SOMETHING THAT NO ONE WILL FAIL TO NOTICE". He went to a MALL, a public shopping center... MOST THE PEOPLE IN A MALL AT ANY GIVEN TIME ARE FEMALE, so... he incidentally killed a disproportionate number of women (WHO, again, ARE MORE LIKELY THAN MEN TO BE AT THE DAMN MALL). A man can be MANY things in life, for good or for evil, but the ONE THING A MAN CANNOT ABIDE TO BE IS NOTHING AT ALL... this was an act of existential RAGE, STOP TREATING HUMAN BEING LIKE SOULLESS CREATURES.

    ´ideally´ ask her to do the same for him. Virtually all failures are because the vast majority of women are incapable of listening, and yet are certain that they can.

      Many women don’t say what they want: For women it is hard to say “I want your money and status.” For men, it’s hard to say “I want your beauty.”
      Maybe this is because neither men nor women have an image of themselves as being so base?

    MoMP was what we men needed in our liberal arts undergrad, to offset the curriculum. Aside- saw Jordan Peterson in town a few years ago. Feminist protestors yelling he advocated violence vs women. Needed police and security for event. Reminded me of your awful experience at UoTo years back from same type of protestors.

    Zoe is a nice person but her questions are female centered and she seems to be blind to this. I don’t blame it on her. It’s years of societal and cultural saturation of male empathy deficits.

    We are all now trapped between feminists/laws making it extremely risky and dangerous to approach women and women who refuse to take on the responsibility to approach men. The dating Stats bear this out.

    Great points. In reference to the incel/femicide problem: in days of old women,wives and families were like therapists who channeled natural male aggression and autism to productive ends. Obviously that’s largely over but some female energy can be put towards becoming therapists or something

    Jesus christ "poly" is a such a f*cking terrible idea. Don't do it. If you do, don't have kids. 70's polyamory was fun for rich kids who were raised by stable 2-parent households and the hypocrisy is as plain as exactly that. It's like drugs: great for a little while if someone else is paying, but the result is always life-wrecking chaos.
    Don't do it, and if your partner is seriously jonsing for it you both need to seriously start communicating better because 9/10 they're reacting to some previous relationship insanity.

      Peterson brings a scientific view to the issue that is interesting. Here’s the summary:
      - males and females are born at ~ a 1:1 ratio (each sex is damn close to 50% of population)
      If polyamory becomes a thing where some men have multiple women, then mathematically, a large percentage of men will have zero women. The men w/o women are not happy. They tend to get violent. This is why polygamous societies are more violent than monogamous societies.
      BTW, tribes in America were often polygamous. A big reason for the violence between tribes was to capture women for the nonmated men.

    • @adamandsethdylantoo
      @adamandsethdylantoo 3 месяца назад

      Polyamory is the unfortunate consequence of human society surpassing human nature, a monogamous species attempting to maximize pleasure at the cost of their mate. Sex addiction is the great unaddressed consequence in technology advancing quicker than most human psyches are capable of using in a healthy manner, where porn and sex on demand gives unprecedented access to something that even 50 years ago would be comparatively extremely limited (you can only get the porn they had at the store and how much you could afford, even the most voracious swinger could only have sex with maybe 5 people per night and have to wait until they could go to another party). In other words, humans are too good at giving ourselves what we want and not good at allocating resources for the future or in light of other’s needs
