Divide and conquer. The war to drive men and women apart has been going on for ages now. Same as the division created to wars between political factions, races, religions. It's curious to see just what a powerful weapon fear can be. I love that Warren is so heavy on cooperation and good communication in relationships.
Just this week Andrea Mitchell was on Meet the Press, and was expressing concern, confusion on why Andrea Mitchell was losing men, both black and white, then very quickly tied it to misogyny. That's exactly it Andrea! If you disagree with a woman you are a misogynist. You answered your own question!
I saw so many women saying this exact thing about Hilary…accusing men of being misogynists when they chose Bernie over her. Those blame and shame tactics are really backfiring.
Yeah, before long, being a misogynist will be a badge of honor. Once enough men embrace their masculinity and ignore the shame, realizing they are ok being who they are meant to be as men, and learn that doing that = misogynist, they’ll say “thanks, you’re right”
To many people sayinh "A man's got to do what a man's got to do" implies implies something wrong with masculin culture. But a Farrell points out, most men feel that they do not have a choice about these things. If you do not do "what you got to do", you either will not be interesting to women, or you will not be able to kepp and provice for your family if you already have one. That, at least, is how it feels for many men.
Like Dr John Gray, Farrell recommends behaviors that go against our evolutionary programming in order to better accommodate the sick society we live in. Fair enough. But when are we also going to set about healing the sick society?
That's the very strategy for healing: Being less animal (evolutionary programming) so we can be more human (live in the example of God's love - God, who 'is' love). “He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.” ― Samuel Johnson Ergo, the more animal one is, the more apparent and painful "being a man" becomes.
A good point and it's not even about blaming women for the types of men they choose to settle down with it's about recognizing that this is instinctual based on evolution it exists for a reason there doesn't have to be all of this judgment around it but everybody is too quick to get angry so we can't have any mature conversations about any of it
Yeah. He seems to think that physical appearance & height have no impact on attracting a mate, and that earning money is the key to genuine true desire (it isn’t - it only makes them PRETEND to be attracted). “Just keep hustling and grinding your fingers to the bone until you reach your alpha prime peak when you’re 60 years old, then, all the beautiful 18-25yo blondes will flock to you and drop their wet panties at your feet”
I like what you said about the anti male approach on the D side. Overall, it saddens me to see the division of the sexes to the point of hatred. Perhaps, at one point we will witness a Romeo and Juliet moment in real time, as a boy and a girl relationship will become taboo.

Scott Galloway has no academic credentials in the human behavioral sciences and has been married most of his life but he has been appointed a legitimate attraction guru...
He’s a literal boomer, so he obviously doesn’t understand Gen Z dating, however, he does acknowledge that the current inflation of hypergamy in the sexual marketplace is unsustainable for civilization. I think he’s quite naïve in terms of ignoring the role of physical appearance in terms of genuine sexual attraction. He often talks about women as if they’re mainly attracted to money - they’re not - it just makes them PRETEND to be attracted to you. You think Georgina Chapman married Harvey Weinstein because he gave her the tingles and got her panties wet?
Blame phones and mental health dogma. The entire switch to virtual living via smartphones has been a pacification of humans. For some reason, women love this style of communication and relationship, or it appears so. I think men are ill suited to text all day and play cutesy phone games, or update their profile. Its a lifestyle mismatch for many. It might not be all the bad after we get used to it.
I'd blame those things as facilitators but not as the core of the problem. A lot of the bad ideas that phones/social media have been spreading were around long before that time period. Marxism, Neo-Marxism (including Feminism, Critical Race Theory, Critical Caste Theory, Queer Theory, every other Critical Theory, etc), Post-Modernism, “Anti-Racism”, DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion), these are all ideas that were developed decades and even centuries ago. And these are all ideas that divide people into oppressed/oppressor classes (victims/victimizers) in some way. Phones were just another medium they could use to spread these ideas. If it wasn't going to be phones, it would have been by whatever means was available.

Thanks Dr. Farrell.
Connor, thank you for consistently putting out valuable content. I love these conversations.
´Connection´ The feeling, and actuality, of being understood.
Only Men can connect, allow it.
Horrible if you’re so impressionable when you’re young and hear these negative tropes against masculinity.
I love Warren Farrell. I am on the left (but not far left or woke) and Warren makes an effort to reach out to them.
The constant left or right generalizing isn’t helping

I agree about Scott Galloway, he has some good perspectives but is also so out of touch. He frustrates me.
