Most methods will involve the application of heat in some form or fashion. There's always multiple ways to do things though. You could likely use an adjustable hot plate instead.
Yes, with IOpener (Fixit) hot pillow that you have to put for several minutes on each edge of your device to melt the glue.
My iPad pro is rondomly restart on its own.. can someone tell me why? It's on iOS 12.1.1. there is one video told that it's hardware malfunction. Which hardware that mostly make that happened? Or it's just a loose wire?
We have seen a few that have had that issue… it's either the battery is loose from the board, or it's the battery going bad.
So most likely it's the battery?

Justin Mastropolito Disconnecting the LCD before unplugging the battery, doesn’t cause an issue. It’s reconnecting the LCD while the battery is plugged in that causes the problem.
We ended up exchanging this model for the slimmer version ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU because it was too wide for the only door trim area that made sense to mount it on. However, we should have just noted the dimensions prior to purchasing. Otherwise, we love the doorbell. It works perfectly, and the video is very clear, even at night.

Vibez3 You will need to use heat to soften the adhesive. Just be careful not to use to much heat, as this will damage the speakers.

Great video, well put together and thorough. I always thought an iPad was just a blown up iPhone...... and my suspicious have been confirmed. I just got a iPad Pro and if you take away the screen and battery, you literally have a giant iPhone. I wish apple would make OSX available for iPad pros. When docked iPad Pro should use osx and when detached from keyboard it should switch to IOS, aw yeah, that would be the perfect iPad.

I don't understand how my iPad being dropped onto the floor, while inside a leather case, could have broken anything inside. Everything is solidly glued and screwed. My black screen if death must be some other system failure. It's going for recycling.

I wouldn't recommend bending the ribbon cables and battery's at 90° to where it's glued down... Because that can and often does, snap the wires inside causing repairs to be done or it'll malfunction, overheat, and bare wire might even set the battery on fire... Rarely happens... But experts don't recommend to bend ribbon cables at all... Other then that cringing footage... It was a really cool video

By the time I got my iPad stripped down, I forgot why I was pulling it to bits....
my screen broke. i needed a heat source to separate the glass from the adhesive. now i need to buy a replacement screen and extra tools when all i wanted to do was replace a dead battery. this is about a $300 lesson learned the hard way.

would prefer if Apple would locate WiFi antenna at the top of the device. holding the device on a male's lap puts this RF near his privates which some evidence has shown RF to be a "possible" health concern. Given the length of time it is held here it just makes sense to make this modification on future devices - anyone else comment that knows about this ?

If it's the first time you've done this then go slowly and organize your screws and components as you take them off and number the steps. Then just follow the procedure in reverse.
you should really disconnect the battery before the screen unless you want to blow a backlight
Removing the screen while the battery is still in will not cause the backlight fuse to be blown. However, always make sure that the battery isn’t connected when reconnecting the display, or you will blow the fuse.
