HA!...NICE! Ive, or someone I KNEW, 'Brain-Babied' the idea of an Armortek Ferdinand, Elephant or Tiger II being refit w/a functional 22LR Ruger 10/22 or Ruger 10/22 magnum. Total weight would be significantly cut down due to no stock present. Lite-weight Carbon fiber wrapped barrels could be easily swapped out for weight.. The interior turret/case mate dimensions are there to fit the Ruger receiver dimensions with some clever mods... 10/22 Receiver is 7 inches long, an 1-3/4's wide, 2-1/4 tall. It could be run/installed upside down in turret/casemate to easily access mag-catch from topside, reload flush fit 10 round mags, reach safety from topside, charging from the left VS right hand side... Solenoid fired trigger with cut down trig/trig guard. Cant readily find info, but if the ArmorTek variant barrel is @ least 16" then no BATFE $200 SBR/AOW tax stamp(s) would be needed! (Short Barrel'd Rifle/Any Other Weapon) Such could also be done w/a Ruger 10/22 'Charger' pistol model, but the barrel is only 10 inches. Legally one could buy a charger registered as a pistol, remove orig barrel (2 simple allen cap screws & wedge block/barrel interface) buy a new/singular rifle barrel, then cut down the 16" rifle barrel, IF orig ArmorTek model barrel length is somewheres between 10-16", then reinstall into receiver... The barrel would have to be tossed onna lathe to turn down to the original cannons phys profile & then re-threaded @ the muzzle to fit the original kits muzzle brake... That'd be a FUN one when getting the ATF paperwork/call processed eh?...(IF even needed?) ATF Office: "Your building A WHAT again Sir?"..... Knowing the hilarious/BoZo's of the 1st order fraternal brotherhoods amount of laws here in the states, its prob illegal? Ilegal for even THINKING it?...EEK!.. My DECEASED drinkin buddy WAS certainly a WILD one eh? As its on a >>moving>> chassis w/no physical human control? (See VERY fine print-Law Enforcement 7.62cal belt fed death-robots exempt;) Or you'd need a CUSTOM/1-off specialized license to operate? Weird, as Blacks Law Dictionary's definition of a license states(Paraphrased): A license consists of a granted permission, or privilege, upon purchasing the permit, FIRSTLY to do, or execute an actions that was PREVIOUSLY considered ILLEGAL to do without first purchasing the 'License'..HA! NO WONDER 95% of our lawmakers/U.S Senators & Representatives largely consist of LAWYERS w/a license to do biz* granted by the BAR/B-ritish A-ccredited R-egistry/Regency. NOW I get why they collectively dont care for the 'Logan Act'? MAN!...(>Allegedly>Whats that noise?!GO!>> Think I hear sirens in the distance!...;)
