With hardware peaking and let’s be honest phones are so OP now, flagships anyway. It’s good to see OEMs shifting focus to software. If we want bleeding edge we got to go folds basically. I’m not mad at the Galaxy line this year, it’s fine lol.
Losing the Bluetooth on S-pen was bad enough, now I find out there is no smart view cover case anymore 😢 I've always had that case since ages - a real loss 🤷🏻

I totally use s pen Bluetooth... 😡 this past Christmas I took a picture of myself in front of my decorated Christmas door and I did it by sticking my phone in the dirt 10 ft away and taking the picture with my S-Pen people thought it was a professional photo for a Christmas card I love the fact that you can use it to take a picture but I guess not anymore😤
S25 a step back really
in my opinion the s25 ultra is better in the hand. i hate how the s24 ultra is in the hand. but loved the s25 ultra.
I don't agree with the iPhone statement because when I go to an event iPhone users always ask to use my 24 Ultra for pictures and videos because they always say photos and videos just looks better. Not saying that the iPhone isn't good but once people look at my photos and videos they always ask to either use my phone or if I would take photos using my phone. Just saying 😊
Does it still struggle inside taking pictures of kids/pets moving? Only thing holding me back from getting one
if you want to take a picture of something moving use the 12 megapixel mode. than its fine.
but the best thing to do is take burst pictures. you make many pictures at a short time after that you can select the ones you wanna keep.

I don't like Samsung's reliance and emphasis on Gemini; it's just not a selling point to me.
When I read the permissions Gemini wanted I cancelled all my AI hopes.
To me the s24 ultra is just better.

There's no charger in the silo of the phone to charge a Bluetooth S-pen.

Same as S24 which is good to me. Loud and clear.
@Techninjaspeaks its not the same, bottom speaker on s25u is bigger and sounds better than s24u
Does it have Frame Generation / Interpolation like Red Magic and iqoo phones?
For Video turning regular video into slow motion ? If so - yes.
With the case on, does the 25U feel different in hand than the 24U with a case on? I know without a case its a big difference, but Im curious if you feel a difference with case on??

How's the battery life?
1400! for a phone with 12gb, 45w slow charge and 5000mah battery

This is what I've been saying. Idk how Samsung could release this phone with a straight face?

Fast(er) charging isn't always better. Why? Charging with higher speeds, will result in more heat, which in return deteriorate the quality of the current batteries, therefor the livespan is reduced.
I always prefer to charge with 15-25W (low ampere charging doesn't stress the battery as much) instead of 45- or 60W unless i need it and i limit the battery to 80%.
my s24u charges from 0-100 in like 40 mins tops which is fine and charges 50-100 in like 15 mins so idk Samsung batteries also last 2-3 years
8 years ago. I switched out of apple phone for Android. And got the Samsung A52 BECAUSE of headphones jack! (It has been super useful).
Now i am seriously considering switching back to apple. If both phone cost unbelievably expensive. At least the

that comes with apple phones.
They're seriously milking the high end costumers for what's worth.
Removing the headphones jack is one thing. Now the micro SD card?! I rather get a phone with slightly bit higher weight and size for more features.

I have an S22 Ultra. I have been wanting to upgrade. Which phone is better on terms of everyday functionality and practicality, the S24 Ultra or the S25 Ultra?
Both are the same quality. People forget theres a good chance the s24u gets slower and slower with the new Oneui7 update and android update also decreasing battery life. I love my s24u it feels premium and does w.e the s25u does. If you like rounded edges go with the s25u.
Welp, I still have an S-Pen Pro. Guess I'll be carrying it around for the time being 🤷🏾♂️
Dude I’m so not interested in these phones anymore, its crazy how boring they are becoming, I feel like there’s no way to go anymore for this companies other than just improvements, that’s sad

Congratulations, I’ve been with Apple since IPhone 6s Plus (2015) so I’m actually really interested in the s25 ultra and I currently have the phone 14 pro Max so really thinking of switching.

My 24 ultra is wider then the s25 ultra so that to me it a downgrade wont get it
Cross app function everybody is doing same thing. Ask about event(music,game) and add to calendar thats it.
Nobody knows what else to use it for or dpes it support any other usecases
Eventually, the goal for these manufacturers is to be able to add something to your calendar and then ask it to add that person to the invite as well.
Or even what Apple said it’s going to do where if someone text you something like can you pick up your mom at 3 PM? It will automatically look at your calendar and tell you that you don’t have space to do that if there’s something in that calendar slot.
It’s still the beginning stages of it, but at least Samsung is actually doing it whereas Apple still is behind on that supposedly spring. We should see it but Samsung and Gemini definitely does it first.
But as always, I wanna see who does it best. I have a feeling when Apple releases it. It’s going to be more flushed out and there’s gonna be more examples of it, but we have to wait and see because lately Apple has been a bit disappointing when it comes to the AI stuff.

I know Samsung became lazy than before(just like the any other), but that doesn't mean S25 ultra is a bad device.
I feel like people are too harsh on Samsung.
Not interested anymore..last year curved display and this year BT from SPen😢💔😭
sadly Samsung came out and debunked the s pen even though it was listed on web sight. there is no software to support it.
The Spen on the Samsung website is the exact same pen that is sold with S25U. There is no Bluetooth version of the Spen. Full stop. Samsung confirmed this yesterday!

Impressed about what? This is exactly the same phone as the last year, the lack of innovation is outrageous at this point
I’m still impressed with the phone. Year over year they don’t change much but that does not make it a “bad” phone.

@@kfx3907 better cameras (eg 1 inch sensors), larger and better batteries, I mean, customers have been asking for better batteries and charging speeds for years now, and Chinese brands are already putting 6000 mah batteries with super fast charging speeds at this point. Is not like the technology is not there yet, is just that Samsung doesn't want to invest in innovation because they lack real competition

Just placed a pre-order for the s25 plus navy 512 gb. Doing research to see if i wants wait 7.5 weeks on mother's day and get the s25 ultra 1TB with free buds pro 3.
So far, I'm stunned how the disappointment its. Since my current phone its a mid range A52 Samsung phone (its slowly down).
My key points its the SD card.
By the way, the colors on S25 Ultra it's unbelievably boring
