In India, the price difference between the OnePlus 13 (12GB/256GB) and the Samsung S25 Ultra (12GB/256GB) is approximately $700 USD.
I can never understand people saying "Oh I like this color or that color or the edges are sharp or soft" when almost everybody buys a case which covers up the color and covers up the sharp edges so what difference does it make?
Exactly
Thank you. It's completely stupid
I'd love to use my phone without a case, so I give it importance
Facts
@ Which is why I said almost everybody🙂
The vapour chamber is actully bigger on one plus. Thats why its more stable in benchmarks . One plus has the best haptics on any phone
Plus the Elite on Samsung is personalized for Samsungs wants/needs. So the benchmark numbers of S25U could be fake aswell.
Despite what the specs say, Samsung falls short in front of OP. The cams on 13 looked really solid for the price and less spec they're offering.
3:05.... That reflection is crazy though. The display doesn't need to be brighter when the reflections are better.
A lot of people don’t understand how much better anti glare is.
@@Techninjaspeaks or the fact that it falls apart and gets nasty after 3 months unless you wipe it down everyday. cool tech, I would've preferred better utility instead of headline Specs that don't translate to real world use
Yes it’s a absolute game changer is the real world.
@@thetechlibrariani just wish samsung could produce some kind of pre installed screen protector that has little to no effect on that quality. It always seems like microscrstches happen no matter how strong the glass getd
Fair point. That being said, who in their right minds uses a $1400 smartphone without a screen protector, thus rendering the screen coating on the smartphone utterly irrelevant?
The OnePlus 13 with clear burst and action mode captures moving subjects better than any phone on the market today. It's a real tangible benefit that no one likes talking about for some reason. They just go into the same old drone of oh, well it's $1,300 and it's from Samsung so it's got to be better.
I agree 💯 this is coming from a person typing on a s25U btw. If only oneplus 13 was in the carriers?
Have you ever heard of honor magic 7 pro , Pura 70 , vivo x 200 pro they capture moving subjects the best OnePlus doesn't even come top 10
My dslr takes better photos than both phones. It sucks at making phone calls or managing my calendar though
@boyeatsworld-vr9ci wow no way!
@itsmepokemon8246 Is it ??
6000mah that lasts 15 minutes longer than S25U...
Charges much faster so ..
Updates will fix it. Everybody can see how it's unoptimised as of now.
Still 1000 mah more. Poorly optimised @@luismaia6989
Did you watch the video? OP13 lasts 1 hour more of SCREEN ON TIME. OP13 wireless charging speed is faster than Samesungs WIRED "fast charging" 😂 my OP13 last 6-7 hours of screen on time with heavy usage. It charges up so fast I don't even keep it on a charger while I sleep. I top it up in the morning before work. OP13 phone of the year, calling it
0-100 percent in half an hour. On a 6000mah battery.
I almost got the One Plus 13. What stopped me was the fact that I still like having a stylus. Even if I don’t use it often (loss of Bluetooth sucks), just having it there for precision, and some productivity tasks is a must for me. Not to mention, the trade in deals Samsung offers is very compelling. One Plus did a great job with the 13, but not being available at carrier locations will make it hard to compete with Apple and Samsung when it comes to getting the devices through T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon. People are creatures of habit, thus, when they upgrade, they often default to the least path of resistance, which is going through the phone carrier.
I love that blue tooth stylus! What was Samsung thinking? Its perfect for content creation by yourself. Ive got the 23 Ultra. Thinking about updating to the 24 instead of the 25, just for the blue tooth stylus feature
Hey Steven, I get you! I'm loving the S25, but yeah, I miss my Bluetooth S-Pen too. Truthfully, I didn't use it that much, but still, they shouldn't have changed it!
I just realized that having a RUclips channel doesn't make you an expert on photography. The 200 megapixel versus 50 megapixel versus 5X versus 3x argument just holds no water. Samsung is seriously lacking in the camera department when capturing moving objects. There's no amount of AI or post-processing that's going to make a blurry photo completely unblurry. I also don't like how Samsung can't capture a shadow not everything needs to look like daylight if it's a shadow let it be a shadow.
I have a one plus, they're behind too with shutter lag. Neither are as good as iPhone and pixel tbh
@Ankcientgamer I'm not talking about a OnePlus. I'm talking about the 13. Unless you have the 13, you don't know what you're talking about
@@AnkcientgamerOP13 made great strides with motion blur and action mode.
No one talks about master mode on OnePlus either, it is perfect!
Actually the shutter lag is an software optimisation they prioritise brighter image over sharp image , you can use pro mode and samsung dont have shutter lag, so it's an software thing, also OP didn't have a much better camera in extreme condition samsung has edge over OP.
Did you install Home Up on that S25U, it is next level to tweak animations!
cant find home up on my good lock on my s25u

Wow. Thanks for the shout out! Really enjoyed the video and don't worry I have all kinds of shade for Apple not innovating either 😊
Brother, this morning I cancelled my presale order of my Samsung S25 Ultra 'cause I saw everywhere this phone was getting outpowered by other flagships. Then I started browsing a while to see what other options I had to get my hands on that exquisite SD 8 Elite chip and that's how I came across with the OP 13. I got shocked when I saw its specs and been watching videos all day long to make up my mind and order the OP 13 instead. Imma do it. Thanks a lot for your video. No cap new subscriber here.
PS. I do have one question my G, is there any wireless 50W charger available in the market capable of charging this phone? Thanks man!
OP uses it's own proprietory technology shared with oppo ,realme so to get full charging speed with OP you need thier own charging technology, like if you use a normal pd charger it wont go fastee than 18w.
@@g1y3 what if I have a Xiaomi 120w charger. Will it allow the OP to charge at its peak 100W capacity?
@@temizuqocranberry think about how OP 13 will decrease its price when u sell it secondhand. it depreciates so much, much worse than Samsung. so If u decide to sell it in the future, know that you will not get a lot of money for selling a year old secondhand oneplus phones compared to Samsung. Additionally, Samsung has great trade-in offers for upcoming new phones.
It will.
Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. Oneplus air charger is great I think they include it with purchase last time I checked from their website.
That mute switch is something I miss so much about iPhone, currently trying out an S25 and I like it but there's some minor inconveniences that really bother me lol.
OnePlus 13 is the kings of smartphones 2025
Right way more innovation for basics and things u use constantly like vattery or fast charging
Not quite. It is very good value for money however. The OnePlus 12 has a better camera system though.
@@neilmcguinness4422 I have the feeling the 13 will become a iconic phone loved by many it has almost anything u need or want if they add the right things next year and have the right improvements it will be the best phone on the market
@TristanWegner-mw3id OnePlus really do need to work on their customer service though Tristan. Their unfortunate reputation is not unfairly earned.
One ui 7 and 7 years software support stopped me from buying OP13 however i wish Samsung had fast charging but i bought the S25 Plus at the end of the day 😅
I got my S25U for 390 so I am not going to complain
You paid With Monopoly money ?

If one plus 13 is offered in ATT, I would choose it over the Samsung s25 ultra, especially for the price difference.
Gonna put on a screen protector. Doesn't that mean the ant-reflective surface basically useless?

@@nicolarossi-r8nIt is the best one out there!
For me oneplus 13 all day for the simple fact that they made a phone on par with samsungs for $300 cheaper
Hello, I have the One Plus 13 and it is truly a great phone however look beyond that - the customer service and support are the worst I love my 13 but I will never purchase anything else from this company.
That is exactly what i was worried about.
💯
It's $400 more in the US..
Looks like you didn't turn on Performance Mode on the OnePlus 13, which is why games loaded quicker on the Samsung.
S-Pen and Dex are useful features which makes a difference if you are business traveler or a power user
I think S24 Ultra curved edges and S25 Ultra curved corners = woulda-been-a-win
Thank you, my dear content creators. These videos will help sell a few more OnePlus smartphones, while losing Samsung a handful of customers and eventually compel them to innovate so that, when I upgrade next year or the year after, I'll be getting a better Samsung for my money.
Yeah I accidentally touch the sides, but the curved display made scrolling images left to right felt 3 dimensional and the squared dispaly felt productive and business like.
And maybe it's just my fetish, but I always appreciated sliding my hands on the curved part.
Can't say it's not practical, but the new flat and curved display with punched hole made the s25u look like phased out chinese sub200$ android.
I'm one of the unfortunate few who notice the lack of quality in Samsung's screen choices. I had to return the Galaxy tab s10 ultra because their bad screens + the non glare made it impossible for my eyes to focus.
One plus 13 user here, charging speed is amazing, battery life is amazing, display, functionalities, sensors are amazing. 970$ is affordable price for this masterpiece.
8g3 Elite? Should it be just 8 Elite?
If samsung start slacking ,we switching up to oneplus
I had to order both and get the real feel, at the end I stayed with the s25 ultra just because I got a killer deal. They are both great devices and the haptics on the oneplus device are amazing.
Ive got both and damn, what a tough desicion this is. One must go back soon but wow oneplus are officially back. Tough desicion
i bought both too
@zzzzzzzztech1501 which one are you keeping, which one do you preffere?
@@azuris221 ill have both too by tomorrow, my S25U comes in... Something tells me to keep the S25U just because its theoretically the more premium phone thats more expensive.... And thats the phone i should keep and use, but the OnePlus 13 technically is the better phone. Higher sustained brightness outside, bigger vapor chamber, bigger battery, faster charging, IR blaster, higher IP rating, better signal strength. It just feels like a crime to use the OnePlus over the S25U, even though im pretty sure its going to be better, as i have an S24U and its not going to hardly be different over my S24U.
@@brannonbarakat457 so basically you will keep s25 ultra due to the brand and premium feel. And yes it's true Samsung feels more premium. But man, OnePlus 13 has an insane battery life, I like the more snappy feel of oxygen os, and the screen is Beautiful. Its a Tough choice. But I like the S25 ultra design. And maybe a more established, refined software. I don't know.
For that extra 400$ you essentially get a phone with no weaknesses.
Like which one?
Bs oneplus has faster charging, mire ram and a better battery for less money the mentioned 400$ u get better features for less money samsung is a joke
@TristanWegner-mw3id From my own experience, the only joke is OnePlus's customer service. Many people out here are aware of this sadly. Their fine devices deserve better.
I pre-ordered the s25 ultra. Already sent it back, the side rails are way too sharp in the hand. Samsung should be ashamed to have put this phone out like that. The s24 ultra is the best feeling phone in the hand in my opinion. Great review I like your videos.
OnePlus has a better burst feature on the 13
All i need is an upgrade from 20 Mate 20X 7.2" any alternatives? Must have latest Google UD.
I got my S25 ultra for 450 USD for trading in my S24 ultra and got a free galaxy watch 7 40mm.
I have been using my OnePlus 13 for about 4 weeks, and I'm going to skip S25 Ultra for 2025. The things I like most on my OnePlus 13 compared to my 1 year old S24 Ultra but not so many reviewers have talked about:
1. lightening fast supersonic finger print sensor with a large sensing area, you touch it without any thinking and in less than 0.01 sec you log in to your phone, no struggling, 100% success, it's much much better than S24 Ultra's supersonic sensor.
2. eye protection, I don't know the exact terms or technologies, but S24 Ultra isn't comfortable for prolonged uses at night bases on my experience no matter what screen mode is on, especially when the ambient light is dim. On contrary, 13 is very pleasant to use at winter nights.
3. light weight and non-intrusive handling. S24u looks nice but not very comfortable to hold in hand due to intrusive corners (S25u should be much better). the 13 is easy to hold, and seems to have a better weight distribution than S24u.
4. long term smoothness and usability, I would expect my 13 to have no noticeable smoothness reduction as my OnePlus 11 (I skipped S23u and bought OnePlus 11 for 2023) after one year heavy use, whereas S24u is already laggy as of the beginning of 2025 when I bought it at release.
My views and experience may change over time though.
Is there a difference between the displays, Samsung has only 8-bit display with 16M colors?
oneplus has 10-bit :)
@@cryptoastvipYes, what is the difference between the 2 displays, I want a side by side comparison
Not to the regular eye 😅
@@JoeSmoke416 my eye aint regularn😂 i mean. Both beautiful displays. Insane how far technology has come to this day🔥
Oneplus has the BETTER display. Yet both are very nice. Samsung cannot compete with onepluses display tech. It's so futuristic and amazing. Btw I bought the s25U bcz it's in the carriers. I love it though.
Every flagship these days will last you at least a day, unless you play games on it, so bigger batteries and super fast charging are making less sense, to me at least. Phones peaked, and we are now getting improvements in places where, although welcomed, they are not that crucial. Most andorids, especially Chinese, have garbage optimization, and that should be more of priority then pumping battery specs.
Great comparison video. I have owned Samsung phones and watches since the S9+. I currently own the Bronze Note 20 Ultra and Watch 5 Pro. IMO, the Note 20 was the peak of Samsung innovation and luxurious looking phones. Now, Samsung is gradually removing features while increasing prices. Samsung is also copying the iPhone which makes them both stale.
I had intentions of upgrading to the S25 Ultra but I would pay a lot more for no SD card, no bluetooth S-Pen, boxy square design, and ugly colors for a lot more money. No thanks! As for upgrading to the fugly Watch 7 Ultra, definitely not.
AI does some cool things but it's intrusive and annoying. In additon, Samsung already discloses that there will be a subscription based fee for using it. How many features wil be available If you don't subscribe? It's like paying for a Lambo that can't drive over 50 MPH.
I am definitely switching over to OnePlus 13 and OnePlus Watch 3 (when released). A lot more phone and watch for a lot less money. Good-bye Samsung!
Why does no phone reviewer mention that OP13 doesn't support snapdragon lossless audio and it also doesn't have Dolby atmos
I focus on things that most people will run into day to day. Not many people are listening to lossless audio these days that’s very niche. But that’s a good call out.
@Techninjaspeaks I understand the point there but I think especially a video comparing the Samsung to OnePlus should mention this, because the s25 ultra has both of these things and because of that has reportedly significantly better audio over bluetooth
Fair points. 👍
@@zachgamingzoneSamsung supporting Aptx lossless is news to me because they haven't in the past.
It's not aptx loseless it's snapdragon lossless sound to control the Audio output earbuds or headphones ( things that are related to transfer Audio through Bluetooth) and Samsung has dolny atmos you must know what it does and the Audio are also tuned by akg if you know what it is you must know how good it is ❤@@The_Brimada

@@gman5218 spen has also been nerfed hard, it is useless now
I would like to see how the oneplus 13 does when its push to the its limts because i n my experience oneplus has been fast when there is only a few apps in it but the minute I started downloading a bunch of apps messaging gps calling and music thats when it starts falling short and becomes slow and galaxy s24 i always put this bad boy to the limit and it just doesnt slow down at ball
Compare to S25+, to the corresponding price point.
If oneplus shrink the bezel just slightly thinner maybe it'll be the best phone in 2025 for me.. 😂😂
If we were to pay the true value for this phones the one+ 13 wouldn't worth more than 400 Dollars and Samsung S25 maybe 600 to 650. and thats being generous !!! And...my pick would be one plus any day over the more expensive and more bloat packed Samsung that not only charges slower but drains the battery quicker too. Plus...the on plus menu and navigation fluidity is light years better than of Samsung's
i went from a A52 to a 25 ultra, and I got to say that i did hate many updates in one UI on my a52 phone also don't use most of the Samsung apps and wish I could uninstall them.
The issue is that I can finance a Oneplus with Verizon
Regarding battery life, after certain hours, the longer by how many minutes or hours doesn't matter anymore. As long as you can use whole day heavy usage and still left with above 20 percent, nobody care anymore
The OnePlus 13 may be cheaper, but I was able to trade in a broken S8 I had lying around and get $1000 off my new S25+ by purchasing through AT&T. So for some of us, the S25 phones wre actually a better price.
How was trade in process was it pretty smooth and did they actually apply the amount they said to your bill?
@rileylind1404 The trade in process itself was smooth, but it's to soon to tell because I haven't even had my new S25+ for a week yet. Keep in mind that I did this through a corporate store. I have to wait a month or two before I start seeing any charges or credits on my bill. I will try to remember to respond with an update once that happens.
8:47 ‘dumb’ until apple does it and it becomes the norm.
This s25 ultra is insane battery i absolutely love and phone dont over heat while im playing games
The comfort to hold is only relevant to those who are brave enough to use their phone without a case.
For the rest of us, it's a moot point.
For sure - I think I mentioned that part or I had to cut it out. I wasn't trying to have a 30 min video. Lol.
None of those get my attention. The vivo x200 pro fires on all cylinders.

One plus lifts it update strategy it could overpass Samsung sooner rather than later
I like the industrial design of the s25u, i dont like the camera layout of oneplus it looks goofy
lmao, I wouldn't use the OP even when given for free
The s25 ultra is miles ahead. Is not perfect, but is not in the same league.
The thing that always kept me from keeping a Oneplus phone is the camera. Last years Oneplus 12 was great but the camera was not. I had no confidence that i could point and shoot and it would be a great picture. Samsung, iPhone and Pixels I have that confidence. Currently have the S25 Ultra. If Oneplus upgrades that camera, I'll pick it every time.
Actually, the camera system on the OnePlus 12 performs better than that of the OnePlus 13 in the eyes of many.
@@neilmcguinness4422 Untrue. It performs better

s25u with 512gb is actually cheaper for me then op13 512gb
Bro I hope you realize every cell phone bins their megapixels down other than that I was enjoying your video but your megapixels are hardware bin in a smartphone down to around like 12.4 or 12.8 megapixels so basically it only helps to lower light the actual quality though is about the same whenever it comes to the sensor
Sorry my G, I thought oneplus has the larger vapor chamber
Doesn’t matter never lie.
if it came with the R design instead of a curved screen, does look pretty ugly with it
That camera bump makes the OnePlus look ugly as sin.
That Ultra AI feature will start cost end of this year so no thank
I sent back my OnePlus 13 because the software was too irritating - and I hated the inability to get rid of Google Discover.
I now have the S25 Ultra and the software does (almost) everything I need it to.
I'm yet to decide on the hardware, but the OP is definitely more comfortable to hold, however the Galaxy has a better camera bump that vanishes completely with the right case.
I noticed that my OP was using about 10gb RAM on average - while the S25 is using about 6gb.
What's wrong with Google discover ?? Why do you want to get rid off ?

How's it overrated? Quite happy with mine. Especially at the price I paid, $749 for 16gb ram and 512gb storage. That's almost $600 less than the 25 Ultra with 512gb after taxes.
@@orionbriel9077Which I would call underrated 😀
I'd take the OP13 even at the same price as the s25 Ultra. I own the OP12, and tried to s24 Ultra twice, and hated it. Just returned an s24 Ultra because OneUI 6 can't support RCS on 2 sims, where my OP12 does this perfectly. Once you get used to the quick charging, it changes your expectations. I only have to put my OP12 on the charger while drinking coffee in the morning, and 20 minutes later it's 100% and ready for the day. I didn't want to like OnePlus, but after 6 months of using it, I don't enjoy Samsung or Pixel any longer.
The iPhone and Samsung are crap and they haven't brought anything for 6 years. Smartphones from China beat those insignificant smartphones like iPhone or Samsung hands down, Samsung is an iPhone clone.
What? Your crazy as hell
