The entire Back in Black album is one of the best rock albums in history.
It really is. Very few albums are as complete
An Ode to Bon Scott
Superb album and probably only my 3rd best from ACDC, Powerage is my all time favourite, then I think Highway to hell just pips Back in black for me, the new album is phenomenal as well, probably makes my top 5 even.
@@kevedwards Amen, Powerage is such a sleeper that is finally getting credit its due, it has a kind of cult following with us huge AC/DC fans, I remember listening to it on my sisters record player when she was out, I was 12 years old and I listened to Powerage, Highway to Hell and Back in Black with head phones on for hours, my all time 3 favorite albums to this day and in that order!
Angus is just unmistakable in that school boy outfit.
This album came out way back in my day when I was in high school and I can tell you when we pulled into the parking lot, for two years straight, it was all you heard. What a monumental album that still holds up to this day. \m/
Hell yea
I was 13 when this came out, at our high school we had a school radio station and they would blast Back in Black over the loudspeakers at lunchtime.
Couple of fun facts: When Angus and Malcolm said they were going to start a rock band, their sister Margaret said Angus couldn’t be in a rock band because he still looked like a schoolboy to her. So she sewed his first schoolboy outfit on her sewing machine and it stuck. The name of the band also came from Margaret’s sewing machine. There was a switch on the back of it to toggle back and forth from AC to DC. The boys attributed that to power and ACDC was born.
199 % 😊
Angus Young is not only one of the greatest guitar players ever, he is also quite a character. AC/DC #1
If you've seen Iron Man or Avengers, you've heard it. Tony Stark loves him some ACDC
In the school boy outfit is Angus Young-lead guitar player
Hey BizMatik, nice reaction man, this song became a memory for Bon Scott, and that’s why they called it “Back in Black” because the band wasn’t sure whether they even wanted to keep going without Bon, until Bon Scott’s parents told the band that “we want you to find a new singer”… And now the rest is history 🇦🇺👏👏👏🦘🥰
Anything from LIVE at River Plate::: amazing:: hells bells, thunderstruck, whole lot of rosie!,
Also I believe Angus Young has been playing in his Australian “School Boy” outfit since 1970 when his sister sowed his first costume. She thought he looked good in it!!!🤣🤣🤣😍
Yeah correct because he's so cute in it 😂
From about 1975.....they weren't a band in 1970.
@@stevemurrell6167 Dude he was playing with The Easy Beats in the late 60’s wearing his uniform. Sorry to burst your bubble!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸
@@ssmith5786 "Sorry to burst my bubble'....what from my laughing? Angus played in the Marcus Hook Roll Band briefly with Malcolm before AC/DC started but he never played with The Easybeats champ. Besides, his sister came up with the school uniform idea in the early days of AC/DC, five or six years after The Easybeats finished. You've got your hand on it mate.
@@ssmith5786 - that was his brother George Young who played in the Easy Beats. Sorry to burst your bubble! 😂😂😂😂
One of a kind, I like every one of their songs
Touch Too Much,,,🔥🔥🔥👍😎
Listen to their earlier stuff you won't be disappointed
The singer is Brian Johnson he is the replacement for the old singer Bon Scott who died. ACDC is split into two era's the Bon Scott Era (1975-1979) / and the Brian Johnson Era (1980-present) you should check out, and see which vocalist you like better. Personally Bon Scott was my favorite he was a natural fit for the band.
Love me some Bon too
Malcolm . Angus' brother on rythm guitar. Sadly passed a few years ago. rip. But, they just put out a new album not long ago.
Helene here. Angus Young on lead guitar (great guitar player, but for some reason often left off lists of “the top 20 etc etc) Brian Johnson on vocals (a real sweetheart of a guy). Band is Australian but Brian hales from Newcastle. Brian joined in 1980 after the death of their first vocalist. He was 32 at the time, had already had a moderately successful band in Britain which had folded, and then he got the call to audition for AC/DC. So he starts a new Rock career at 32 in 1980.......Robert Plant was also 32 in 1980 when Zeppelin ceased and he was left adrift wondering what to do with the rest of his life. Then came his successful solo career. There’s a great interview of Plant done by Brian in 2017 in Brian’s AXSTV series Life on the Road.
The only one in this line who was born in Australia was the drummer Phil Rudd
Of course we want you to do more AC/DC!! Thunderstruck, Whole lotta Rosie. We love them all. Angus on guitar is legendary! 🔥
Thunderstruck is a must. Its A Long Way To The Top with Bon Scott and especially Let There Be Rock.
Yes. More AC DC. Please check out some of their earlier music 1)It's a Long Way to the Top 2) Shot Down in Flames 3) Touch Too Much. These songs were sung by Bon Scott , their original singer. Brian Johnson is the singer here on Back in Black, Bon died after a night of heavy drinking and sleeping in his car when it was cold. Also, you really can't go wrong with "Thunderstruck".
thats pure funk and the best rapping ever ...
Biz......AC/DC has a rabbit hole of fun and noise and great guitars. Enjoy them all....here we go! 🎼🎶🎶🎵🎵🎶🎸🎸🤘😎🔥🔥🔥🔥
Malcolm Young rhythm guitar, Angus Young on lead guitar....brothers in a band, just like Van Halen. RIP Malcolm ❤️
I finally found this one BizMan!!!!!! You got Thunder Struck and didn’t even know it!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😍 Now look what you’ve done to yourself!!!!!! You went down the rabbit hole 🕳 and you have never looked back hombre!!!!! Party on!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!! 🎸🎸😎🍸
I have been rockin out ever since lol
Fun fact: the Young brothers got the name ACDC from their older sister Margaret, whom got the idea from her Singer brand sewing machine 😀
3:13 - Angus Young. That outfit & his strut is his 'trademark' you'll see it in every AC/DC vid...
Love his strut!❤️👌
You know exactly who they are?!.
Ooooooosh!.
Big words there mmmaayyte!.
One of the best Rock N Roll bands ever to do it. 🤘
The album back in black has sold almost 60 million copies. Only album with more sales is Michael Jacksons Triller
the album back to black is n 1 in the usa now but not in the rest of the world it is a thriller which is n 1. The back to black and thriller album have always passed each other to be number 1 in the usa, one shot is the back to black album and the other is thriller. these as its for years. One day thriller will pass back to black then back to black will pass again before thriller, thriller will pass back to black again etc ... it's two the album always melts that in usa on in world .
thriller n 1 worldwide
the dark side of the moon pink floyd n 2 worldwide
Worldwide back in black n 9
Will never get tired of this classic🤘🤘🤘🤘
THE BEST rock album in history
Yessssssss,that was dope eh!.
That's a tasty taste that never loses it's flavour mate!.
👍from the land Down Undah!.🤙
So they had nearly wrapped up writing for Back in Black when their original lead singer (Bon Scott) died. They ended up selecting Brian Johnson to take over lead singer duties and released Back in Black a few months later as a tribute to Bon Scott. The album wend on to be the second highest selling album of all time (50+ million). Great album from start to finish. That said, do not sleep on early ACDC, it is their best stuff (in my opinion). Anything off Highway to Hell or Powerage is a banger. And about another 10 - 15 songs on top of that are bangers. Check out Bon Scott era ACDC.
AC/DC when ya Rockin & Drivin. Turn it the F- Up 🤜😁
Hardest working FULL ON MEAT AND POTATOES hard rock band on the planet. AC DC got their act honed to crowd blasting perfection way back in their club circuit days, and earlier albums with the irrepressable BON SCOTT at the mic, and they've been dishing it out AC DC style ever since. They have earned the respect of their fans and their place in the business decades ago. TOTAL RESPECT. No collection is complete without AC DC.
Out of Debt., back in the black (INK) out of the RED . MAKING BANK ! Back in business, baby!
"Shoot to Thill" - Iron Man version in Rio........that'll blow your mind.
Just a little while ago, I was saying to a friend, "I can't believe these guys are still doing this...Oh, that's right, Angus Young."
That's Angus young that does that little dance . The lead Singer is Brian Malcolm Young is the other bass player. Angus and Malcolm are the two originals . The first lead singer was originally Blackie Lawless but he died.
I was in 10th grade the year this album came out.
I took French that yr. Neither "D. K." nor I were passing that class, but we did rewrite this tune in French. It got us by.
Their first album with Brian Johnson as lead singer, dedicated to the memory of their original vocalist, Bon Scott, who died. Check out songs from both eras, including their brand new album. Let There Be Rock, It's a Long Way to the Top, Thunderstruck, ...
That is Angus Young, the lead guitarist, and founding member along with his brother, the bass player!!
Cliff Williams was on bass, Malcolm played rhythm.
Angus Young perfected the duck walk
What a comeback! It blows the mind to think this is their response. To the most devastating thing possible in their lives. Strength and purpose.
The guy in the schoolboy uniform is Angus Young, the guy with the big guitar is his older brother Malcolm who died in 2017.
It seems the more people enjoy AC/DC the more I can relate to them, lol.
Guitarist is Angus Young, co-founder along w/ brother Malcolm who is rhythm guitarist.
Greatest Rock song of all time imo
Yes, more please. I saw them in the early 80s still my favorite to this day. They have a new album out and sound just as good as they ever did. Thats really saying alot since lead singer Bryan is 73. I think you need to do Thundersruck Live at River Plate. This is in Argentina. They sold this colosseum out for 3 nights at 70,000+ a night. It's a sight to see.
That's ANGUS YOUNG . He's wear
SCHOOL BOY UNIFORM "
/// YOU GOTTA PLAY BAD BOY BOOGIE ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️😎
You probably remember this if you watched any Iron Man Movies and the first Avenger movie because this was Tonys "anthem".
Pure ROCK N ROLL!
That shot when they first pan over to Malcolm. That guitar is bigger than he is. Alwyas made me smile. R.I.P.
Angus Young is a Rock and Roller !
YES!!!! GREAT review!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Music from AC/DC has been used for many many movies, commercials, video games ... I’ve seen a few movies listed here, but the best one for me is Maximum Overdrive 🤘 haha
Back in the day, whenever we would go to a concert, I don’t care who it was we were actually going to see, the venue would play music for everyone while we waited .... and how do you get thousands of peoples attention to let them know the show is about to start??? They would play Hells Bells 🤘😎🔥 🎸 Definitely check out more AC/DC please!!!!!
I enjoyed this so much!!!! Thanks fam 💞
I believe the riff at the beginning you’re thinking about is from iron man the movie. Unforgettable and perfect for the scene. 🎸🎸😎
Time to be Thunder Struck
So much energy in this song! Great reaction!
other than a movie you probably know this song from sports games in the us.. its one of the few songs that is played in hockey, soccer, baseball, and football games here
Love ACDC❤
One of the biggest fights I had with my girlfriend was which album to buy. She wanted Zep 4,,,I wanted Back in Black. We got the AC/DC,,,,I already had Zep 4,,,,she wanted one for herself. TRUE STORY 👍😎
she wasn't wrong though - she should have one for herself :)
Angus young schoolboy...seen them 8 times u should have seen them live...u would love it...that's why I'm half dead today...lol...angus for a little is a giant on guitar...
Matt from Australia here. Love your reaction to our boys from down under.
Also check out other songs by them, If you want blood, Riff Raff, Sin City, to name a couple.
Also another good old Aussie band is Rose Tattoo, listen to Bad boy for love and Rock n roll outlaw.
WHATS UP BIZ MY BROTHER .
THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD VIBES .
Just subscribed ! I'm absolutely loving your reaction to AC DC ! Makes me smile so much ! You gotta react to them live in river plate Argentina that is where you will blow your mind! Please do that I would love it! Cheers from the UK!
Back in the day Angus would drop his pants .And I cant remember if it was Seattle or Portland but the police came to arrest him.
But it was the best concert "Back in Black" in Seattle
That is Angus Young...amazing guitarist
That is Angus Young on lead guitar there and his brother Malcolm, ✝️RIP, is on rhythm guitar.
It's been in something like 14 or 15 TV shows & movies. Motorola used it in a commercial for their Razr phones. Most recent movie I have heard it in is 'Iron Man'. Robert Downey Jr. is a big fan. 'Shoot To Thrill' is in 'Iron Man 2'. Kickass video.
The lead sing is from concert north east of England he is a true legend so he’s a Geordie
If you really wanna see Angus go nuts on the guitar, react to AC/DC "Walk all over you".
With AC/DC...always watch live versions...these bouts are always on point. Try let there be rock ( live at donington )
Next AC/ DC do one live from River Plate. It's a whole nother level. Trust us on this!
Their new album "Power Up" released last November.
Angus young..guitar legend
The school boy is Angus Young. The band is originally from Australia.
This riff is everywhere lol
Hey bro you can play any songs from the Live At river Plate!! You'll be rocking out!!!
My fellow Aussies. Although Angus and his late brother Malcolm in rhythm guitar were born in Scotland. I'd really like you to check out some 70s ACDC...my high school era.
LET THERE BE ROCK
IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP
JAILBREAK
TNT
DOG EAT DOG
HIGH VOLTAGE
The late Bon Scott was amazing!
This is the song/band...
White dudes have in they're headphones in the lockeroom
before the game!
The album is 43 years old, and 43 years later after you comment this there will be another person wich will say exacty this. This a timeless album: Play it for your children and grand children, they gonna love the beat in this! There will never be a better album than this.
Angus Young. Prep school outfit!
ACDC have so many albums . " High Voltage , Powerage , Highway To Hell , If You Want Blood You Got It , Highway To Hell , Back In Black , For Those About To Rock We Salute You , Flick Of The Switch " . And that's just to name a few .
AC DC did the music for one of the Iron Man movies
That’s my phone ringtone
Bon Scott took Malcolm to hear Brian Johnson and told him Brian should replace him if anything happened to him
Awesome reaction!! You most likely heard it in the movie “Ironman” ?
Or the remake of The Karate Kid... Its at the beginning of the tournament scene.
Megamind also
You nailed it: this band rocks and is fun to listen to. SOOOO many ways to go from here , but take it from a 40+ year fan, I'm just thinking you personally would really love "It's A Long Way To The Top". I do. What hit radio song pulls off bagpipe playing successfully? THIS ONE , indeed, and it's not hokey at all. It melds in perfectly. Genius!
The singer, and lead guitarist, Angus Young, were both in the Thunderstruck video at River Plate. Only they were obviously older. They didn't lose much of their energy in their older years though. Great reaction. Cheers from Canada
This the title track of the album. It's second highest selling album of all time, right behind Thriller
Hey brother, new sub. Enjoyed this and your reaction. Thank you. Angus Young is the lead guitarist in the school boy outfit. Fun facts, I heard that before AC/DC began Angus Young watched a great guitarist stand still on stage and Rip, though he liked what he heard, he swore to himself he'd never stand still on stage again. Also that his sister bet him he wouldn't come out in the school boy outfit and play. Angus's brother Malcom Young playing rhythm guitar in the band is the genius song writer for them and strong rhythm player. When not touring Angus would live a quiet life away from the world and not listen to music. This song is so very cool. Much love
I still remember where I was when I first heard this album. And that was 40 years ago. I was 8 yrs. old
I can't remember which MCU film it was. But Iron Man appeared with this song playing in one of those films.
Now that I think of it, it very well could have been the first Avengers film. When Loki is trying to make everyone kneel. Iron Man shows up with this song playing.
I could be wrong. It's been some time since I've seen it.
we need more Bon Scott era ACDC
I don’t care who you are, when you hear this one your head is gonna bang & you’ll make the stank face at least 3 times. lol
Walmart used that riff a few years ago for there black Friday ads
Very hard to have lived in the US and not heard that riff.
movie The Rundown (club scene), this song is mashed up with missy elliott's get your freak on
"Goin Down" - Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck
Legendary song, legendary band! 🤟
Evidently Angus would run home from school to pick up his guitar, so he wouldn’t even take time to take his school uniform off. His sister said to just leave it on then.
Not true.
Back in Black was used in the opening of Iron Man. Might be where you know it from.
They used it in Iron Man. Basically, AC/DC are Iron Man's soundtrack.
Great Aussie band - I grew up with them from the late 70's 80's til today - with both the original singer Bon Scott (fantastic) and Brian - these guys are older than me and I'm turning 60 in a couple of weeks. We had great music in Australia - great Pub rock bands especially - Can't really remember but I think this was written after Bon Scott died - tribute to him - you should do a mix of older Bon Scott songs and also some with Brian Johnson singing
