Yes, please continue to show the patterns that you are discussing and the length of time you post them are good. This helps us to see the actual areas on the garment that you are sharing about. Also, showing pictures of you wearing your garments that while you share about those is perfect too! Thank you for another great podcast.
Thank you for all the detail about the mist sketch sweater in your last podcasts! I am casting it on and it is a sweater I have been wanting to make since I first started knitting a year ago! All the detail is appreciated as a beginner!
Having the photos of the items you are speaking about is what sets you apart. I find it super helpful to see what you are talking about. Thanks for all the effort you put into making these videos.
Vanissia, another great episode! All your knits are fabulous and I really enjoy hearing you talk about yarn choices and thoughts about the execution of a knitting pattern. I think one of the strengths of your podcasts is your inclusion of B-roll photos and video. I feel I have a greater appreciation of knits seeing them actually being worn and modelled on the knitter. I do not get that understanding when podcasters merely hold their knits up to camera. Keep the B-roll coming!
Your Mist Sketch is absolutely stunning! And what a difference blocking made! I really love Florence's patterns, and I really enjoy watching her podcast. Her whole aesthetic is so soothing. 💚
I like the episodes just the way you do them. The detailed information that you give about the ‘why’ differentiates your podcast from many others. Have a great weekend ❤
The mist sweater looks amazing, always so impressed with your choices of patterns and colors I love the lilac and cream. Keep the photos in I love them.🥰
Lovely episode 😊 I enjoy all the photos you show when you talk about a project. The crochet shawl is amazing 🤩 well done. You always inspire me to knit new things.
Hi Vanissia, your Mist Sketch sweater is beautiful and the green colour really suits you. B-roll is great, it gives a much better idea of your finished garment and how it fits. I didn’t notice you talking any faster than usual, you were easy and enjoyable to listen to. Your excel spreadsheet sounds very interesting, I’d like to see it one day 😊
Thank you for all the feedback, I'm really glad ! And yes, I will seek out this colour more now !! Will hopefully record something about the spreadsheet soon :D
I really like the pictures/video you add in, it helps showcase what you've made so much more clearly! I also really enjoy that you speak a little fast. Yours is one of the only podcasts that I don't have to speed up 😅
Another great episode! I am always fascinated by your knowledge of the yarn combinations, like someone who has been knitting for ages😀 Again thank you for referring to the yarn stores especially the ones in UK. 👍
Your Mist Sketch sweater is so beautiful!! And, your Egg socks are so CUTE!! Loved seeing the yarns you picked for tees - both are amazing colors. The Lilac and cream yarns will be great for the striped sweater! Thanks for another wonderful episode! 😊❤
Hi Vanissia, thank you for another very enjoyable podcast. The Mist Sketch sweater is SO gorgeous and I absolutely love your color choices for this project. I always appreciate it when you mention that a yarn is next-to-skin soft because I am making a list of those for future projects (I am currently knitting the Abstract Rose sweater in Drops Air).. Please keep adding your photos and videos into the podcast - I love those!
Absolutely keep the pictures coming, I always love seeing projects in situ. I've been finding myself looking forward to your videos every Monday, they make the start of the week just a bit more fun.
Oooh so many good projects in this episode!!! The pastels all look amazing on you, such good color choices all around! I'm super excited to see you knitting your levitate wrap - once I saw your yarn choice, I was so interested to see what the knitted fabric is like! You're right, the colors blend so nicely together :) I also got some yarn recently for the levitate wrap, but I went with a fluffy wool yarn so it would def be a fall/winter garment, which I probably won't get to until later in the season. Can't wait to see your version!!
Great episode as always! Really enjoy the pictures you put or the roll, I think it helps us see and understand more. The zakami yarn is really pretty too! Also wanted to say that I think your colour work sweater will look great after blocking: I did one recently and it look quite bad before blocking and now it's my favourite sweater that I made! So I send you all my best waves so that your sweater turns out the same way!😊
Thank you!! I will keep it then! And that's very kind, it's been a while since I've worked with a yarn that changes so much after blocking, so just got to believe in it!
Lovely podcast as always Vanissia!I always admire how organised and disciplined you are😊A ‘strategic knitter’ if that is a thing😁Amazing!I find myself wanting to leave what I am knitting and follow your plans!!🤣🤣Thanks for sharing your time and beautiful knitting here🤎x
Loved your podcast and the B roll. Great balance. Think you should hold out for the Tolsta fingering to come out and hold the Zakami Corriedale single. First it would show off the colour and secondly a lovely fine knit woolly tee could look super dressy 😀 Hope you get the 2 sleeves done in a week. I sense a big reward coming 🥂
Thank you ! I think the tolsta fingering would be just lovely for it ! Just hope I can wear the corriedale next to skin, if not, another fiber might help tone it down a bit. Almost done with the test knit !
I really really really love this mint green color and the sweater is so pretty. OMG the amount of progress on your second test knit is amazing. happy knitting p.s: i love your b roll
Thank you! And yes, I was being very conscientious about it, but now I've been doing the levitate wrap much more aha ! I'll never be a monogamous knitter :p
For everyone wondering how to pronounce "scheepjes" in english you cant really make the "sch" sound but most close is saying "scape-yes" as in landscape. Scheepjes means little boats.
You are obviously multilingual and have an excellent command of English. Just an FYI, skein is pronounced skān in English rather than skīn. I was guilty for years of pronouncing it skēn. 😀
Oh I think the B roll is my favorite! I love that you put up examples as your talking about it because it's easy to see what you're explaining.
Ah good ! Thank you !

The triangle with two equal sides is called “isosceles” (eye-sah-seh-lees) in English! So quite close to French :) great podcast as always
Yes! Thank you!

Thank you! Hope you make them!
Loved your Mist Sketch sweater, the colour suits you! Also loved the B roll. I was knitting the Festival Dress by Petite Knit for my toddler.

I really really really love this mint green color and the sweater is so pretty. OMG the amount of progress on your second test knit is amazing.
happy knitting
p.s: i love your b roll
Thank you! And yes, I was being very conscientious about it, but now I've been doing the levitate wrap much more aha ! I'll never be a monogamous knitter :p
I think the trio adds structure the the blown yarn. I used it in Sweater #21 and it seems to give a little strength/structure.
Oh interesting ! And that's such a fun sweater ! I bet it benefits from the structure
I did 1x1 colorwork on my Anker’s sweater. It made the yoke tight but not too much.
Ohhh that sounds like a nice modification !
Do you know when the Mist Sketch Sweater pattern will be released?
Hiya, Florence is thinking mid-june for that !
Thank you.
For everyone wondering how to pronounce "scheepjes" in english you cant really make the "sch" sound but most close is saying "scape-yes" as in landscape. Scheepjes means little boats.
Oh thank you for the info ! That's interesting ! Definitely can't make the "sch" sound but scape is manageable !
You are obviously multilingual and have an excellent command of English. Just an FYI, skein is pronounced skān in English rather than skīn. I was guilty for years of pronouncing it skēn. 😀
I love her native tongue accent and that so many of her words sound Scottish. I enjoy the accent.
Aah so confusing ! I've heard people say it both ways ! Thanks for the info :)
