Randoms as Venom they really forget this is team game if they wanted only kills they should go to the Arcade mode
As a venum main, his rushing in and getting obliterated by the enemy team is a Rookie mistake. I've learned the good old fashioned hit and run technique. Jump in, do some dmg, as soon as Web swing is of cool down dip out, get some heals from the healer or health packs, jump back in. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Doesn't work all the time, but I'd say 8 out of 10 times I'm successful with that strategy. I just love finding new ways to flank and make the most of my kit.
The issue is that a lot of people don't change their playstyle based on their healers. People see a Mantis/C&D comp and expect for their healers to be able to heal them like it is a Luna Snow/Loki comp. So many people don't seem to know that Mantis does healing over time. I would place the regen on someone then they would proceed to 1v6 the enemies instead of waiting to get a good amount of health.

I haven't played a game like this before but i naturally gravitated towards the tanks and healers particularly peni, magneto, loki, and luna and boy i really don't like the attitudes of people on this game. I know games like overwatch are pretty toxic but in a game as broken as this the least you can do is be respectful to the guy on the other side of the screen
This game has been a lot less toxic than others certainly Negative people make good videos, but I've come across far more goodhearted people than toxic ones while playing The people who are toxic I just kinda feel bad for them. It's a game, and their only joy in life is feeling better than someone in a video game Don't let someone else's pathetic coping take away from you playing the game, I truly recommend it
@ramenren4137 I've ran into a lot of wholesome people and funny people playing. The purpose of the video was to try and tell people not to be toxic, it's a real reason why so many games that have a chat it doesn't get utilized because of toxic players.
@ oh certainly I just know that some people might take it as a warning about the game in general It’s a lot easier to remember the bad than the good in life
Getting kills as Rocket is like a little bonus, healing is the first priority. It’s crazy that people only look at kills for a SUPPORT. Like sure supports can sometimes get a shit ton of kills but that’s not the norm
Tru but you also need a coordinated team to win. We need communication but these kids attack the healer instead of lookin at their play style...and changing it
@@Bitter-Wounds you'd think that'd be universal in any game that has a healer class. Now if it was like Apex where the support can pick up a high damage weapon then I can understand being upset if you're getting downed and your support is across the map getting kills
@thekidscorpio6105 everyone thinks they're the protagonist when they play duelist but generally it's just a part of hoe reliant you are on a team with these types of games, I grew up on old school halo where your team skill was supplementary to your individual skill
@@Bitter-Wounds same, I can admit when I'm doing bad and try to fix it. When I play healer I'm focused on healing and keeping my team alive. If I'm dps I'm making sure I'm focused on taking out the tank and healers. If tanking like any good tank I'm making sure my healer is alive and we can push the point.
Ignore them and have your fun. You can have a stretch of about 7 or 8 games with like 25+ kills and one game with maybe 7 or so and they’ll jump on you. Idc lol it’s a fun game!
People need to realize getting kills or being the Ace on the team isn't important when compared to your ability to fulfill the role you have within your team. Doesn't matter if you get like 20 kills throughout a round if you don't get to or defend the point or your not supporting your team.
Nah. I’m good, ranked is just filled with idiots who believe me as a healer can fly and heal Spider-Man 6v1. Like NO AMOUNT OF HEALS CAN HELP 200000000000 worth of damage bruh wtf
Today I was playing ranked and someone said to someone pick venom to have the team ability, I said "I'm not good with venom" and picked Penny Parker instead, which I play very well, the guy just said "Why you play ranked then?" I was about to reply, but the screen changed and I decided to say nothing. I was going to say that I don't need to play good with every character, i just need to play good with enough characters to support the team in any role, same vibes of what someone told me once "better three good Duelist and one good Vanguard than two good Duelist, one good Vanguard and one shit Vanguard".
Every other game is someone bishing about something and most likely, they're the ones responsible. Like, cool, even if you got good stats off killing random players in the back that contribute to absolutely nothing, we're getting wiped by the DPS YOU should be countering. Now they're in our back line or in the skies dunking on us and there's nothing we can really do about it. But hey, go off. Sacrifice your teammates for your solo glory. And then there's quick play; why ppl rage in quick-play is beyond me. Like STHU and just play the game bruh. Everybody's not gonna be top 500 in your games. Some of them will be Wood 3 or learning a new champ for the first time. Quick-play is for fun. We DON'T NEED to have competitive team comps to play and have a good time.
At low ranks, it's nothing but "Bros" who are "the best players on the team" that you just can't do your job keeping up as they dive and LOS ALL of their support and drop every dive. Completely your fault that they don't have position awareness to keep being healed.
Literally yesterday I locked Jeff, a teammate said, "Can I please be Jeff?" in chat and I switched to C&D. He took Jeff and our team won with 25k heals from him and 20k from me.

It just amazes me that you go 6 stack team in QP and brag about how much you stopped lol. Point is some people are just always on edge and take it way too seriously lol
Spider-Man main. If we play well and I go 25 and 4 no comment. If our whole team keeps dying and I try to pick off a mantis who sleeps me and gets help killing me multiple times I see “report spider for throwing” in the chat. Still ranked up to gold.

Every character in there is supposed to be just as valid as the next one. I don't believe in 'tier lists'; If a character's good, it's mainly because it is well-played, not because of some preferential treatment from the devs, isn't it?
Assist is not a traditional kill assist. You get assists for healing teammates while they kill enemies. A traditional kill assist (you deal damage someone finishes the kill) counts as an elimination. Also try to focus on bouncing the balls past people so they come back for a second pass more cuz ur heals kinda suck ngl.
@@joshuaallengallagher I know this already, that's why I play Rocket I play for heals I don't care about kills. What's the point in getting kills if we're going to lose the objective
@thekidscorpio6105 well ur rambling about how you dont go for kills but ur teammate is complaining about your assists and ur enforcing your position with rhetoric explaining how much you heal. Shooting your gun has nothing to do with your amount of assists.
@joshuaallengallagher you definitely misheard me. He's complaining because he wants me to focus on kills, when as a healer I get the assist for you guessed it healing. The team stayed alive long enough for us to capture the point because of me healing and bringing them back with the BRB station. I'm stating that you shouldn't get mad at your supports if they're focused on keeping you alive especially if you're the main one dying because you dive the enemy team. Look at the leaderboard he was the main one dying and being brought back just for him to dive in and die again.
@@joshuaallengallagher me bouncing the balls off the walls so they can ricochet and heal a teammate who is somewhere I can't reach them is sub optimal? When you're Rocket you don't have to chase down your team to heal them you can sit back and keep healing them from a safe distance since you're one of the few Supports whose damage output isn't that high so you really can only kill a very low health player. I have tons of clips of me getting MVP as Rocket because I focused on killing and not healing just for me to get spammed in team chat that I needed to heal more. I average 25k - 40k heals a game every now and then if I have a team with 3 healers my heals drop down to 15k
My main heroes are Strange, Rocket, and Punisher. When I play as Rocket, depending on the team composition, I can heal between 10k and 23k and provide 30-40 assists. Rocket is challenging to solo heal with, so I prioritize focusing on low health heroes. I make sure not to leave my respawn beacon in one place for too long. I place it in a safe spot to distribute healing packs, and since it only has a 5 second cooldown if you break it. I reposition it as needed. When attacking, I target low health enemies or defend myself if someone rushes me.
@@StatesideBeast that's what I do. I place it somewhere that can get my team back in the fight fast where it also can't be destroyed. I've seen too many Rocket players throw it in the middle of a fight and be surprised it gets destroyed
@@thekidscorpio6105 Depending on the situation. I have tossed it in the middle of the battle to give the shields. Then recall it before it's destroyed 😂 idk if it helps but it seems to work in certain situations.
@StatesideBeast the only time I've done that is because I fat fingered the button lol. Like the Tokyo 2099 maps have a few great places to put it I've had my Star Lords get rez by it behind the enemy and ult immediately getting a penta because of it lol
@@thekidscorpio6105 I think Rocket needs a small change. I don't think the healing orbs should be linked to the Gatling gun reload. His jetpack should allow him to hover, and he should get a rocket to shoot. Thoughts 🤔
@StatesideBeast His passive lets him hover for a short time. What he really needs is for his gatling to do a little more damage so if he's getting dived he has a better chance of either killing the enemy or make them push off. But an explosive would be nice to have to also stop people from pushing him I mean what's one more passive lol
rocket is a fun character to play I like jetpack hovering into walls and then running back up and off and hovering back across over and over healing from above.

I dont think it's just about killing, but prioritizing kills.Because I'm mostly in the backline im aware of having to pick off and pressure the iron mans or the flankers/snipers or the other healers because my team don't focus them and die the most to them. Still dont neglect healing but id be lying if i said i dont try to at least put pressure on the problem units. also, sometimes the team take more dmg than i can heal them so theres that.
as a venom main (certainly not the best) i can say i often die more than i kill but my team sweeps and i consider the deaths worth.

I can't trail a tank who's diving a team and getting wiped because I'll be next and then my team is down a healer and if I'm the only healer we're screwed.
@@shrubbery8090 facts
This game has been a lot less toxic than others certainly
Negative people make good videos, but I've come across far more goodhearted people than toxic ones while playing
The people who are toxic I just kinda feel bad for them. It's a game, and their only joy in life is feeling better than someone in a video game
Don't let someone else's pathetic coping take away from you playing the game, I truly recommend it
@ramenren4137 I've ran into a lot of wholesome people and funny people playing. The purpose of the video was to try and tell people not to be toxic, it's a real reason why so many games that have a chat it doesn't get utilized because of toxic players.
@ oh certainly
I just know that some people might take it as a warning about the game in general
It’s a lot easier to remember the bad than the good in life
@@ramenren4137 you right about that.
I don't remember Rocket being a Duelist keeping the team alive is more important than kills as a strategist 💀
@@nanosmokex6998 thank you!!! I thought I was going crazy
Getting kills as Rocket is like a little bonus, healing is the first priority. It’s crazy that people only look at kills for a SUPPORT. Like sure supports can sometimes get a shit ton of kills but that’s not the norm
Thats why i play muted. These multiplayer games get annoying when you gotta listen to other people raging.
Tru but you also need a coordinated team to win. We need communication but these kids attack the healer instead of lookin at their play style...and changing it
Gotta follow the Golden MMO Rule, if the tank or healer tell you to jump, damage dealers say "how high?"
People think they know everything and some of them don't even understand how the healers work.
100%. Sometimes it better to just play a character your comfortable with and also fits the role.
This video is the result of what happens when you run into an asshole on a bad day
Every other game is someone bishing about something and most likely, they're the ones responsible.

I can't trail a tank who's diving a team and getting wiped because I'll be next and then my team is down a healer and if I'm the only healer we're screwed. If I had a tank and a DPS protecting me I would gladly push further in because at least then I know I'm not about to get turned into a punching bag by Iron Fist
