And Tennessee....10 miles from where my brother-in-law escaped the tragedy in the Erwin area. I am from East Tennessee and that area is not being noticed by most in the social media. They literally have the same devastation and no one seems to realize this. Our hearts break for everyone. I have family in NC and GA. My neighbor was in the NC area and could not get back to TN ...we couldn't make contact with them for 2 days...They gave everything they had on them to help people outside the Asheville area. They have relatives in the Johnson City Erwin area...but no one remembers them. After being forgotten over and over it is just a kick in the gut. We are still hunting for missing persons here also.
So sorry to hear this news. This storm was very wide spread and took us all by surprise! The more remote the individuals the more they are not noticed, sadly.
@@twowomenandtoolsandfriends It truly did. Your channel is a lovely one. I think you all are a source of strength to many and all you are doing is just sharing your journey with us in the routine and in the storm aftermath. But it shines a light on the situation in your neck of the wood so that you all are not forgotten. I pray for you all but know that you will be fine because you are women of courage, and faith. I hope this situation will resolve sooner than later for you all. Until then...lawn furniture is right.
I think that trying to get someone to pay you for cleaning up that particular mess is more trouble than you need right now. Document everything you’re doing, with pictures and video of its’ original location, any VIN numbers, other identifying features, testimonials and receipts from the crew(s) you hired, and move forward with whatever you currently can do. Maybe the frame will help replace your bridge. Leave the insurance-fighting part for tomorrow. Good luck, ladies.
Morning, take a deep breath and slowly exhale! The vehicle identification number (VIN) is usually located towards the front of the trailer near the tongue (part you hook up to). The VIN is stamped (embossed) on to a metal plate, that is then attached to the frame. It will be hard to see because at the factory they sometimes get painted over, ugh!Report the 18 digit number to local law enforcement as it is actually still an abandoned vehicle. Oh my, I am so sorry about what you're going thru! My Prayers are with you, do not give up because you may need to smile to your neighbor today just to reassure them. Question: do you still have any top soil left on your property? If so spreading a 1/2" over the sand, with a little 20/20/20 fertilizer and some grass seed, andcrest assured it will take off yet this winter. Reserach #straw#matting#erosion#control These rolls are rolled out over your seed and helps secure the seed until germination. You see this along new construction sites, usually in the drainage ditches. In Florida the sod you see there has been thriving over a sandy subbase, there are specific grass seed designed for various amounts of sand! FYI Winter in Indiana where I am from is just a very gloomy time of the year causing a sense of negativity for our spirits and remember your land will recover, Mother Nature is very resilient!
I would expect serial numbers of the item to be stamped on the frame of the item your video shows being moved. Maybe a serial number search would get things started
If there's a license plate still attached you could contact the state police or DMV and give them the number of the plate. Wether they tell you the name of the owner or not, that I don't know. But, you could have have them contact the owner and possibly exchange info.
I don’t think you can have the insurance company pay for the bridge repairs as it was an act of God or a flood. Both reasons to deny coverage. They didn’t intentionally take out the bridge. They might want to know where their trailer ended up but they can’t be held responsible for repairing the bridge. Unfortunately your bridge cost was something you had to assume responsibility for when you purchased the property. You also can’t force neighbors to allow you a permanent access through their property. It would be nice if they would allow you access until you can replace the bridge. However honestly you need to find help with the issue without trying to have other people pay for it. The trailer owner is also a victim here and they may not have insurance coverage on their property. This situation is a huge mess but the insurance companies unfortunately don’t have to cover acts of God or flooding unless a policy is issued for that. Those policies cost more and most people don’t pay for it.
@ this was a nasty response to a real concern I had for you all. This was an extremely nasty response. Not cool. Nothing I said was offensive or intended to offend but you responded with a very nasty video. I’m sorry you have been hurt by this storm. I fully understand that your property was destroyed. I’m very glad you are getting help and I have been supporting the groups helping you. But your video was not necessary. You have used your platform to attack people who honestly care.

The trailer frame could have a serial number. Who owns the land?

ID # identified it as a 2021 38ft Forest River model Cedar Creek travel trailer! Did not find anything on owner!
Nor did we. See my latest video on a statue that prevents that type of search.

@@garyforbes8711 there are no license plates still connected to these trailers basically the axles tires and the frame. Everything else is torn apart.
@@twowomenandtoolsandfriends the police can track it with the vin number same way..
So just give the VIN to the police and they can find the owner if you dont know how to search for it on line.
@@wolfpacva there is a statute that does not allow the police to give out the name of the person who owns the camper. I just did a video on that.
@@twowomenandtoolsandfriends police can contact the owner if you give them the VIN
It seems like the police or the Secretary of State can get that. Possibly a police report so that you can get a VIN #
Giving it to us is the issue and since there is a statue against giving it to a private citizen I don't think it will happen.
