Our destination is Padum, one of the world's coldest settlements, with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny leading the charge. We aim to bring Christmas and New Year cheer to the resilient children enduring this harsh climate, showering them with toys and goodies. En route to Padum, the Jimny effortlessly manoeuvres its natural habitat, conquering trails and scaling mountains with ease. Anand Mohan, our Santa on wheels, couldn't have asked for a better sleigh than the Jimny. Get ready for a magical journey!

Jimny is a special product , a product made entirely for offroad enthusiasts . Most people comparing the jimny to thar are obviously misleading themselves. Jimny's USP is its compact size which gets the job done even with less power and torque figures on paper.
The Jimny definitely has a size advantage when it comes to crawling through narrow parts.
Lol from 4-5 days I'm watching Jimny videos and seeing Jimny on internet everywhere at the same time you uploaded video on Jimny 😊✌🏻

Bought mine dream jimny after price drop. I was actually saving money for march.... I was planning for manual. But got Zeta At even for lesser price after drop.... The car is an eye magnet and seeing so many fans around. I had a similar exp in 2016 wen i bought first lot himalayan. Even though i sold it due to its love for mechanic😂. Jimny wont love mechanic it seems but is so found of petrol station 😂one word to call jimny is Mountain Goat

Ever since maruti reduced price of Jimny , it suddenly became more capable than thar ...😂😂😂 Fact is it was always better , ask the rear seat passengers

Jimny is a special utility vehicle, it always has been, and there are three reasons people didn't like the price - Engine power, Turning Radius, Seating comfort for Rear seats....biggest reason less power as most ppl in plains need to go thru significant distance on highways to reach trails.
With reduced pricing, well, Jimny seems ok with above flaws also!!
I waited for this car long enough but then price was a bummer - now bought one with reduced prices.

Weight ratio is the reason why Thar cannot compete with the global heavyweight 4x4 vehicle such as wrangler,Hummer,G-Wagon,Toyota S series so on... Because Thar is way underpowered in comparison..

This is very beautifully done Team Evo India. And if you don't mind is your cinematography (Sir Sachin Khot? the same one who did used to direct Savdhan India in 2012. I was a child artist and I remember working with him when he was in Bhopal (Dolphin Dubey mam was my mother in the episode) during First week of December 2012. OEM fitted stock tyres
Man stock tyres are gem, they perform superb in low and medium level off-roads and give decent mileage.
The car was running on OEM fitted stock tyres!

Observed any issues with stock tyres? I got the car yesterday and I am in dilemma whether to exchange stock tyres at throwaway prices or retain the stock tyres and use them to the fullest first?
Stock tyres are very very capable, believe me i have used stocks any they can do lighter to medium level off-road tasks with ease, jt can cover entire Ladakh in stocks.

The Jimny, considering its modern, will be more economical.
Jimny had always been the default choice for off roading in eastern Europe, North Africa and South Africa, and in South America where it's the preferred affordable choice among buyers. Don't know why they compare it crazily to the Thar, an absolute incapable duplicate, which can't even properly navigate rough Indian roads. Suzuki needs to invest more in advertising in Indian subcontinent, also increase exports to Sri Lanka and Myanmar in larger numbers, even Pakistan and Nepal so that jimny remains the default option everywhere around 🎉
Exactly. These so called offroad enthusiasts are actually the so called 'kue k maindak'. These are the people who never knew that Jimny was present internationally even before the Thar was conceptualised and the Gypsy was the altered variation of the Jimny for Indian market. These people think that a bigger sized offroader will always be better from something smaller. Its like saying that GS1250 or Tiger1200 is better than some smaller offroad/enduro bike just because of power. Both are good in their own ways. Actually these are just fanboys who know nothing about the actual purpose of these vehicles.

@@evoIndia Suzuki needs to do the same trick in their sleeve again, sell it at lower cost for initial 2 years, decimate competition and create new segment by winning Indian hearts 💗 and then dominate by increasing prices and range by bringing 3 door version. Suzuki can definitely have an dream run, given that India and Indians are an weird market and consumers altogether.

Can not sell like this. Every other Jimny owner who brought their vehicle to these parts has mentioned loss of power. Here this guy is saying no loss of power. At least be ethical even if you want to promote a product.
And the oft reported braking issues at high altitude.MSIL has a weird disclaimer to that effect.
I have taken it to umingla no problem with power or braking, its not the power its the tyres that loose the grip change them and it will be you mountain goat forever
Yet others including @evoIndia sayin stock tyres worked fine. So either there is no power loss and the tyres work fine, or...
