We were part of the group who got stranded. But on our way to nerak, we noticed that the chadar was breaking and we became skeptical if the chadar would be still intact on our way back from Nerak. Half of our group decided to not continue the trek and head back and half of the group decided to continue the trek. That half was stranded with the rest of the people for 3 days while we were able to return safely. One tip about chadar : always be too cautious with the chadar and never trust the chadar. Dont take risks that can be avoided

we went without any group just 3 guys and were lucky to complete it even after falling in the river twice. I would still remember how it shivered us but our grit to do it made us successful without any backups. Chadar won my respect forever.

Nice Video. I couldn't imagine this would change drastically in just 2 years. 2018, I was blessed to Completely Soloed it all they way to Neraq and back. Although, the situations were bad then but this one is outrageous .. I'm glad to hear our Amry did a great job. Slalute to all those bravehearts.
Such an adventurous and thrilling track .. last part felt like a movie scene .. really commendable videography and everything was so exciting and enjoyable ..just wao ❣️

we did this trek in 2017. we reached zanskar in 2 days. but got stuck there due to heavy snowfall and again, the army chopper air lifted us to Leh. with us were trekkers like you too. it was a memorable trip
Phugtal is definitely a great untouched gonpa to check out in this region, you should reach Purne village, the trailhead to the monastery is about 2 km from there.
After seeing your chennal... I am gonna subscribe immediately.... Dnt understand why is it so underrated.... You're doing an amazing job... Keep the josh high... Respect

Great.. I wish I watch in 3 D so without tracking I can enjoy.. I love treck.. but this body of 100 kg makes problem.. enjoyed.. all take care and all the best..
Ladakh is the home to numerous natural wonders, but the most precious gift bestowed upon this magical land is the Chadar Trek. The trek is all about persistence & survival - of learning to survive in the harsh terrains at sub-zero temperatures, interacting with the locals & understanding their way of living, especially in one of the most inhabitable regions in the world, while you trek across a dramatic gorge with frozen waterfalls on the frozen trail of Zanskar spanned out like a “Chadar” it acts as a mirror for the sky!
