Ritesh ji Thank you! All hacks seem effective, simple and brilliant - except the spinner thingy. Special mention for seatbelt thin and auto-stop reminder! MarutiSuzuki must recall all Jimny's and install or correct these issues. I guess one big gap in Jimny interiors which needs urgent solution is the missing drinking water bottle holders in all 4 doors. Even an Ignis has these. A zipper pouch can be used to keep photocopies and some reserve cash as well for parking fees, etc. The leather wrapped steering wheel slips for me.. do you suggest a steering wheel cover like the rust / tan one the Thunder kit contains ?
That’s great 👍🏻. They are all useful items, will certainly simplify you Jimny life 😊. The steering wheel works quite well for me, you should go to a accessory shop and see the variety there and check the grip before you buy - the Nexa options are very limited and also too common now, as almost every thunder edition Jimny has the same tan / black seat covers and these tan accessories😉
I think the wheel spinners have a bad reputation and are notoriously being referred to as suicide knobs. It’s even illegal in certain countries. Better to get adjusted to the turning radius limitation of Jimny and drive accordingly.
Thank you for highlighting this and essentially your concern, appreciate it. If the the spinner is a sturdy good quality (it gets subjected to a lot of force while being used so you need a robust build) and It’s installed correctly (at 2 O clock position facing inward, inside the steering and firmly without any play) it’s fine - I have being using one for 22 years and very happy with the role it plays in my driving, cheers 😊.

Hi, are you serious when you say stuff like, they can break, really! - so, can anything else, things that are made, break down too - the brakes fail, Tyres burst etc. so does one not use them? No sir, like everything else, you buy a good quality stuff, a spinner in this case (I have been using mine for 22 years across five cars now), then you install them correctly and you maintain them well and repair and replace, when you need to, like everything else mechanical and subject to wear and tear! Dear sir, please visit a store and buy a heavy duty, good quality spinner that will serve you for years to come - i would look at the budget etc. but the quality as it's critical performance equipment. Please get it installed correctly by professionals - 2' O clock position on the steering wheel is a good position and the spinner should either right on top of the steering or on the inside of the steering, like in the video - it should never outside the steering as then it can interfere with your clothes etc. Cheers and good luck👍
Hi sir, at present discount I am planning to get one. But "propeller shaft rubbing cross member" issue deterring me. Did you noticed any scratch mark on your propeller shaft ?
The turning radius in Jimny is horrendous. I was shocked to find out that Thar’s turning radius is shorter than Jimny. For me it’s a major deterrent when driving Jimny within the city lanes despite it being a petite car in size.
@@infinitebeing1119 the short wheel base jimny has a decent turning radius 4.9m but lwb needs 5.7m . Rigid axle does hamper the turning radius in both cases. being the same length thar and jimny have the same turning radius despite that having an independent front suspension. You get used to it after maybe a month of driving.
The turning radius at 5.7 metres of the Jimny is larger than it should be, as is expected for that size of car but it’s not something extraordinarily out of whack! It is essentially similar to that of the Thar, Gurkha, XUV 500 and the like… so it’s very manageable and it just takes getting used to it and you do get used to it quickly too… so not a big deal (breaker), I think 😀

Please do not encourage unsafe driving parctices .Steering wheel mounts are stricly used for slow moving heavy vehicles or earthmovers for ease of driver in offroad cumbersome conditions. Nowhere it is meant on fast moving vehicles like cars where you are required to control the steering properly with both hands for your own safety and of others [ for the very reason people with disability and who do not have the other arm or hand are not issueddriving licence ] .Have we become so lazy and have got no strength that we can not even control a power steering with both hands ...I wonder how we ever drove a fiat , ambassdor , CJ3B , Gypsy which did not have any power steering at all !!! Safe driving always.

Steering spinner can cause a serious injury if you take your Jimny off-road
That’s the reason I always mount it inwards of the steering and will be careful too, thank you for you concern and heads up👍

What’s your problem with auto engine start stop? It’s my fav feature on Skoda. Gives better mileage and keeps the car in silent mode on stops. Btw, it’s based on algorithm that checks multiple things including your battery.
Problem is its not Skoda
It’s a problem for me. I am sure it’s same for others too. He is talking about Jimny and not Skoda
If you haven’t experienced the Jimny auto start stop- you must, because without it your expertise on the subject is incomplete 😜.
We are all aware of the concept and how it’s supposed to work and what it does… in the Jimny it’s got a mind of its own 😝!
Has you skoda ever shut down in your parking bay when you are in the process of parking it / straightening it etc… the Jimny does and the annoying thing is that it resets to armed, every time you start the car… I rest my case!
It cuts off aircon
Steering spinners not at all recommended for cars to be driven in hills and even more so on a 4*4 it might have worked for you sir but general rule says other wise
Hey! Appreciate your concern - it’s helped me immensely and therefore I shared it with the community, they can decide for themselves! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@@handsonwithbabbar Sir did you went with the tyre upgrade
No. Running on OEM tyres and I haven’t been disappointed yet 13K and counting 🤗
Turn off auto stopvoice command is not working in my jimny
Hi It’s not a command, it’s a hack to remind you to shut it off manually, every time you start driving!
Please watch the full video once again to understand how that works. Thanks.
Coming soon face lift of Jimny with CNG & TURBO configuration, with better storage space for mobiles, water bottles.
Nope, I won’t bet on it 🙃!
i like it
Thank you 😊
I only find 1st hack a problem..other than everything is not a problem
Good for you! Although even if one is fine with the others, I feel the non visibility of the doors when open is a huge safety hazard and a serious flaw that needs to be addressed.
Fiat UNO❤❤❤
Miss driving it still ....😃
seat belt clips are now illegal , these are not hacks, but car accessories
😊
True
A steering spinner is a big no!!!! Major Hazard 😤
Thank you for highlighting this and essentially your concern, appreciate it.
If the the spinner is a sturdy good quality (it gets subjected to a lot of force while being used so you need a robust build) and
It’s installed correctly (at 2 O clock position facing inward, inside the steering and firmly without any play) it’s fine - I have being using one for 22 years and very happy with the role it plays in my driving, cheers 😊.
Hi, Thanks for watching and commenting!
Quick question, how is using a steering spinner an unsafe practice? Just as i said, i have been using one for over 20 years now and without a hitch! It's an efficient tool, if you use it well!
All in good spirit, take care.
Hack number 6# Just sell it and get a Nexon or 3xO and thank me later ❤
😊
I just wrote the same comment., Beg to differ only with the second pick., Nexon., lol
