Well, i just ordered it for my 98 4Runner. I took mine out and cleaned it and dried it after getting rained on, but i accidentally broke one of the tiny plastic pins that is attached to the drivers window slide control. It also still seems a bit jinky, with the door locks not always working right. My own fault, as I didnt. Know i left the window open is a rainstorm. But the mirror buttons are fine. Again, my 4runner has power mirrors, and is a limited, but the rest of the assembly is the same!!! Also, thanks for mentioning about holding it for 10 seconds to program the auto down feature, i would never have know that!! I will be back to post a follow up.
The drivers side power window switch on my 99 Rav4 is acting up, I put the window up and it goes back down by it's self, I am assuming that the problem is the switch, do you have a video for changing this part on a Rav4? And I will check to see if you have the switch in stock. thanks.
I have a right hand drive Toyota and I accidentally bought a new window control box for it, but it's for left hand driver side, same clip, but won't move my windows, Is it cause the right hand side uses different wiring than the left? Or is the new window box just faulty?

Hi I have a 2000 camry without power windows and I'm wanting to install power windows into it. I have purchased 2 doors from a 99 model but can't find a video on how to wire them up considering the 2000 model has no wiring for it ill have to start from scratch. Any ideas?
Does this master switch on the driver’s side door operate the locks too? Everything is working but my “door open” warning light stays on when the doors are closed and I can’t program a key fob. It’s not a super huge deal but it’s bugging me that I can’t have my done light on because my Camry thinks the door is open when it’s actually closed. Anyway, just wondering if this is the same switch to replace. Thank you.
+Amy Holbrook The switch does have the unlock/lock button for the door locks, but that does not necessarily mean that the switch is the issue. 1aauto.com
1A Auto Parts thanks you. I did discover the switch in this video is NOT my issue but the switch on the frame on the inside of my door frame that makes contact with the door handle latch. That you.
Hi. My master switch on 2001 camry works except for controlling the driver side window. The switch on driver side works, then stop, then work again. Any ideas? Thank you.
Replace switch array for $20 unless you don't care to leave your car unattended when it stays open in the rain or at night or won't go down and up at every single stinking drive thru. There come a time. 1939 leave Berlin! Now sell everything you have. Get Out! Oakland & SF before an Earthquake.
@1aauto.com 1A Auto: I have a 96 camry the door locks work fine but from the drivers side I can't roll any windows down. I can still roll them down on each individual door though.
+agent 99 7 We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Holy crap I thought I'd have to remove the whole door til I made the wise choice of watching this. Unfortunately on my 98 with 240K on it, someone already pried it and the plastic broke while they were doing it, so they chose to GLUE it back on. Thankfully it wasn't too bad to rip out. Also turned out the connector was just loose. Whew.
+Erick Ruiz You may want to inspect the factory wire harness that runs between the driver's side door and body of the vehicle for a broken or a frayed wire. This could be causing the issue that you are experiencing. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
1A Auto Parts is it that gap in between the door and the car when you open it??? Sorry if I'm not making any sense but just really been trying to fix it
Thank you for responding. I looked it over again today and the problem seems to be a crack on the narrow plastic band on the power switch so the little bump on the cable plastic part doesn't grab! Everything works if I hold the two pieces together. I have to replace the door handle anyway (crack where the pull handle meets the lock) and will do that before I get the window switch replacement.
+Harrison and Hailey At this time we are unable to diagnose the issue that you may be experiencing but would suggest you take it to a local mechanic for further assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions.

On my Avalon there's a clip. How do I reattach it. It's a free floating metallic piece. Thanks.

My windows only open and close when my driver side door is wide open. Only then will it work can it be a fuse? Or a panel??

Reginald Quigby yes! Same thing. Hate it cause only when the driver side door is open. Only then will the windows and power locks work
I am trying to get the main power window switch
My cable doesn't click or grab when I hook them up so is it the cable fitting and not the window switches? Thanks
+sdsioux11 Thank you for checking us out. It could be that where the cable seats has failed and it may not be the window switch. 1aauto.com

Yes, very, very helpful, detailed and complete-Thank you!!
My power switch just to the drivers window has no power. Any suggestions?
