Great southern rock band from the 60's-80's. It is very sad what happened to this band in losing so many members in a plane crash. My favorite songs are "Simple Man", "Free Bird" & "Sweet Home Alabama". They had lots of great songs such as "Call Me The Breeze", "Tuesday's Gone", "The Ballad Of Curtis Loew", "What's Your Name", "That Smell", "Gimme Three Steps" etc.
Sounds of the south👍 they were just becoming big up north (I started listening to them) and all over releasing the album Street Survivors. The tragic plane crash in 1977. founding member Singer, songwriter Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist and vocalist Steve Gaines, backing vocalist Cassie Gaines (Steve's older sister), assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, pilot Walter McCreary and co-pilot William Gray all died. R.I.P. The songs live on………👍💛‼️
In life its the Simple things that really satisfy the Soul

Nicely done. Now you have to hear what his Father said to him in the song The Hunt
Great reaction! Can you imagine that, at their beginning, Lynyrd Skynyrd were borrowing money to rent their music instruments?

Ronnie and the boys (and girls) unbelievable
It's a common theme in American "Roots" music (blues, rock, country, jazz, etc.) to listen to your MAMA!
You must listen to Mr. Banker next by L.S
