- 6'9" UT Arlington @di5ichi is a freak of Nature who can touch the TOP of the backboard!! Didn't quite get it in this video because his legs were dead from the workout, but check his instagram!
One of the highest jumpers of all time! - Спорт
This guy is next level athletic for his size. They keep getting bigger and more agile, its crazy.
That's simply not true. There were actually more skilled, uber athletic big men in the 90's and early 2000's than there are today Dominique Wilkins, Larry Nance, Shawn Kemp, Kevin Garnett come to mind. But there were many more freaks of nature back then.
Lol they keep getting bigger? This guy is 6'9. So they aren't getting bigger.
@@theblackschwab3561 Exactly you can even add guys like David Robinson, Orlando Shaq, Chris Webber ect to that list.
His vertical is like 30' how is that impressive?
@@mcmerry2846 If he is 6'9 and the rim is 10ft and he can get his head a couple inches over the rim, he probably has a 40'
This dude would be unstoppable in volleyball

Facts
Make sense tho
The way he’s dunking on a 10ft goal is how we all feel when dunking on a 7.5ft goal.
not complaining and I love my height at 5’10… but god damn to be 6’9 and a 10 ft rim feels like a 8 ft or 7.5ft rim lol ahh Id be in the nba lol
It’s like how we jump to high when the rim is low and we end up coming down on the rim
Im not sure i can graze my shoulder on 7.5ft

This man was “Tired” and he jus casually jumped and damn near grabbed the TOP of the backboard 🤯 shid crazy lol
I think he could have grabbed the top of the backboard. He was well on the way down when he touched the backboard. I'm assuming it would be too dangerous and awkward to touch the backboard at his highest point of his jump.
@@ckobo84 he ever touched the top of the backboard in another video. He claim to be able to get 13'3.

Yannis and Giannis is the same name!! are both close on what mr34's name sounds in Greece; there is not a letter in English that sounds exactly like "Γ"( the first letter of the name); both alternatives G or Y are close!
Giannis was more fluid as he grew up playing the guard spot. This guy seems a bit robotic for 6’9
U mean giannis?
Damn, that's crazy. And I think with some strength training he could get his legs much stronger and it will be even freakier.

When this guy gets to the NBA and they build up his muscles and strength he is going to go Beast Mode!!!
Let’s not forget Giannis and how he it took him a few years to get adjusted to his crazy growth spurt and get rid of the awkwardness. This guy is a few inches shorter, but the frame is spot on. What’s crazy is he has the frame where muscle is just asking to be put on. 💯
this dude is gonna be 24 by the time he plays his 1st NBA game. Giannis was like 19. Totally different
Hope he makes to the NBA and does something freaky in the dunk contest. Needs to work on his shot and handle to get there though.
His handle doesn't have to be spectacular...but if he can just play solid defense, and set good screens, he'll be solid. Hitting 15-18 footers would definitely help
@@DunkademicsOfficial how old is he? with the right timing and body control, he can be a freak shot blocker, and an automatic alley hoop dunk inside, but he has much potential, can he shoot 3's too?
@@DunkademicsOfficial yep and if he gains some mass
@@thefatboy__goneslim7376 yea he can shoot and hes 22-23
He's an athletic come off the bench defense, rebound and energy guy right now. He can be a good 10-15 minute guy and as his skills develop.......
His leaping ability is insane but what got me is his speed. For someone 6-10 his speed is freakish. Special talent.
He has a good support group, has the height, looks like he has discipline which is the MOST important in any sport ... BUT what i also see, he is smiling and looks like he likes it ... in doing anything YOU MUST LIKE IT , thumbs-up 👍🏽🏀
Freakishly athletic... I wanna see more of his jumpshot and pullup game. The only thing they showed was a corner three and that's the easiest three to make in the NBA and unfortunately he ain't gonna be driving and dunking on everyone so easy. Overall this young man looks very talented and he is going places for sure. This is my first time seeing him, I gotta keep up with him now
A jump shot could be learn or taught
His athletic ability can not
@@MrZaShun uhm, that is why he wanted to see to know if he is NBA ready in terms of Shooting! Not all Athletic Players Can be taught how to shoot, some just can't seem to Shoot even when NBA calibre Trajners Train them, im not saying he can''t shoot, won't learn how to shoot if he still has'nt, but we all know markelle fultz and Ben Simmons so...
@@weretekataknina102 I can name more players that learned how to shoot other names that just didn't
Fultz shoot way better now then he did when he had a mental break down
Ben can shoot better than he elect to show I think it's off fear and plus he know or believe he's better off taking 2s so why take a 3
"I wanna see more of his jumpshot and pull-up game"
Well, you're not going to, because it doesn't exist. In 2 of his last 3 games this season he put up 0 points in 51 minutes of play against Troy and U. of Southern Alabama.
People acting like he's a summer of hard work away from developing into a 20 ppg scorer, just stop lol. He has a future as a globetrotter or RUclips dunker, or maybe some years overseas getting paid decently to dunk and block shots, but that's it
@@leq6992 yikes 😕... he looks way to athletic to be having 0 pts. Just off of Raw ability alone he s/b able to get 12 pts from slashing, fast breaks, and putbacks. He s/b able to get 8 boards and 1 blk easy in 51 mins
This man is a dunk prophet
perfect genetics in all its glory
This man is amazing
Every single one of those dunks were as clean as you can freaking do!
What’s crazy is, he can get this high while he doesn’t seem to have a very well developed approach/ runnup on his jumps off 2-feet (in comparison with the best jumpers, based on 15 years of my observations). He just kind of does a jump-stop. What I’m saying is - He could be MORE EFFICIENT in his horizontal-to-vertical momentum and force redirection/ translation & get even higher. CRAZY. Anyway, his current approach seems to work well for his long levers and kangaroo achilles tendons. A more refined approach with more speed brought into his plant & a bit of a bigger quad and glute engine... I don’t even want to imagine... 👽👽👽
He does lose momentum when he sets his plant to jump, I see what you mean as it can get higher.
i just feel like mechanics for people who are so tall and lanky are completely different. maybe if he fills out like lebron hell have a much more stable base/more power
@@thedude7737 or Giannis. He’s closer to Giannis in build
its not a jump stop, some people tend to have shorter penultimates. For example eyesonheight has a relatively short penultimate and he's jumping 50 inches.. I don't believe stride lengths matter as much for dunking as they do for sprinting or long jumping. Yes most elite jumpers have long penultimates, but maybe the ones with shorter ones are actually more efficient because it means they can produce the same amount of force without having to reach as far.
I'm high AF you the goat for this
I wanna see him at a la fitness 9’9 rims n hang on the top of the backboard 😭
belly button at the rim! lol
So yeah.. some people are born with a gift.. how far he goes in the league is totally up to him.
Insane genetics.
He got bounce.. love it💪🏽
His atleticism is other-worldly. His shot looks ok but they'll help him perfect it. I can definitely see him playing in the NBA.

@@DunkademicsOfficial where you think he goes in the draft I think okc would be a good spot
47.5
I have always believed being vertical is not how high you get your feet off the ground, it is how high you get your hands. This guy really shows that!!!!
They are getting more agile and freakishly athletic every 5 to 10 years but Shawn Kemp was doing the same thing he's doing now. With the ball he's nowhere near clumsy. Can't wait to see him in the big stage....💯👍
This dude's agility while being so tall is absolutely amazing! And he can shoot? If he avoids injury and trains right this guy could be legendary in the NBA. I really pray he avoids injuries and the unfortunate pitfalls that so many promising athletes suffer. I'd love to see this guy put on 40 pounds of muscle and train non stop. He literally could he unstoppable!👍
40 pounds of muscle would probably change his game, and mess up his knees. You can add strength without getting bulky.
The days of the traditional big men are over.
If he hits the weights on the regular, and just physically matures naturally,I think he’ll be fine.
@@jackieclark8253 true...did you see the video Deas did about this dude?
@@TracyA123 ...A good example of how to put on weight over time is Karl Malone.
Malone was 230-240 coming out of college, but his already bruising play style warranted that he gain additional muscle.
He ended up being around 265-270,but it happened gradually, which is why I think Malone didn’t miss a lot of games.
This guy’s frame is different...I think he can last in today’s NBA at about 25 lbs heavier to keep that agility, but add strength.

What exciting is in dunks made by person who is so high? Spudd Webb was incredible when won Slum Dunk Contest in 1986. He is 5 ft 6 in. He did it again in age over 40. That's amazing!
He can do an armpit dunk
more than the elbow dunk
he can put inside the rim his entire arm
Carl Mitchell did it in 03
Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Lebron James… All 6’9, but for some reason, this kid looks way taller than them all. Maybe it’s the weight.
he might still be growing
The lankyness and lack of comparison(this guy next to gym regulars not nba players).
How he slashes by all those defenders before he dunks the ball. Impressive.
I don’t think people understand how insane this guys athleticism is. They just think “oh he’s 6’10” he should be able to dunk and do all that” like no bro. This man is literally touching the top of the backboard which is 13’0 while he’s gassed from the workout 🤯. Y’all need to put more respect on this guy
