Your talk made me burst out crying. I recently lost my sister and need to do what you are describing. The problem is I don’t think I have anyone to do it with. Like you, I have a very dysfunctional family. Not close nor supportive. I don’t trust anyone of them to agree to this, or to do it without their own agendas. The only person who I could have done it with was my sister, and she’s gone. I love my husband but instead of listening, well he listens a little, then goes into advice telling mode. We have a solid relationship but after 20 years of marriage, we’re not as in love, but yet we are loyal. By the way, we are from England, now live in US. I miss our walks in Hyde Park. I really appreciated what you have to say and I think it’s something that would work, but being with the correct person is the key.
The hardest thing for me was moving, my husband’s job always came first, I lived in Northern Virginia for 18 years, worked, had many close friends. Now we live in Florida, he got a new job, he has an outlet, I live in a neighborhood where no one comes outside, neighbors don’t get together for holidays, or dinner parties. I have no real friends. If you don’t play golf, cards or do quilting your out of luck. I’m thinking of getting a PT job after the holidays.
Good Morning, William. I really enjoyed your presentation. I've seen great changes in my own life when I increased the amount of movement and mindfulness. Keep going!
i shared on my yoga twitter and my other twitters and my fb ..... great video ... i am bipolar and really know the benefits of exercise on mental health but lately got lazy but did some yoga for just 5 mins and it really relaxed my mind and helped my mood .so im quite a fan of mindfulness therapies ... it was a pleasure to share yout video ...and i have quite a big following so hopefully more people will see it too xx
Good talk, I am struggling to get moving. I had RNY Gastric Bypass surgery last September. So far I have lost 100 pounds, so 100 more pounds to go. I need both knee joints replaced. So I have trouble walking, my right knee is bone on bone, the left one is following closely. I can't get the knee surgery until I am below 200 pounds. My goal weight is about 185. I can still ride a bicycle. So I am going to get my mountain bike fixed and get my 12 year old granddaughter who lives lives with us a mountain bike. We have many beautiful places to ride and hike in Washington State. This would be an awesome opportunity for my daughter and I to get some exercise, strengthen our family bond and enjoy the outdoors while soaking up some sun for vitamin D,.and getting the rush of endirohins and dopamine!

Thanks Will. Not another anxiety show brought me here. Parkrun 5ks helped with anxiety and bipolar.
