I agree but you can’t out exercise a bad diet, a healthy food intake + exercise go hand in hand

Worst tedtalk i saw, very strange approach. Of course, we all know exercise helps? Then HIV out of nothing? Where did this connection come from, it is really stranges and should not be connected to this topic..... Fine, you are a doctor from 27, (applause for that) , probably lot people think you are good looking and give you a stage for this talk. But think about what you are saying and maybe wait for talking to an audience before you are well known in the world. Maybe wait till 35 or 45. This talk is just nonsense...

Good talk thanks. There was a book a few years ago (Spark: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain) which was very interesting as it showed how much benefit there was in using exercise in schools to improve results

Got sucked in by the great headline. The most basic obvious advice: exercise is like medicine, citing some studies she read. I just realized I am qualified to give a Ted talk. Can I get the last 10 minutes back?

Amazing how someone manages to write something negative on a video which can only have a positive impact on others

You are offended because it couldn’t be any more true! People are so obsessed with fads and pills, she is stating that preventative medicine can be as simple as daily exercise and that so many illnesses can be avoided so easily.

@@jessh5111 Well this talk has zero depth, everyone, and any doctor can tell you 15 min walk helps your health. Also, don't bring it as a wonder. Still millions of people get diseases at 20-30 years who are living healthy...
All these people are very unlucky and I saw it from close. It's more people who are living unhealthy from 25 years till 65+ with very bad diet and bad exercise they get diseases of course after. This is a common result if you live 40 years unhealthily. So never bring exercise or diet as a golden ticket. Tomorrow we all can get diagnosed with terminal cancer or something similar.. People or even ''doctors'' who never faced this from close seemed to not understand this
