    Fixed my TV for roughly $30 with the help of your video! I had it working after replacing just the top LED strip but figured to replace all the strips since I had it open. Thank you!

    Great job as always. You saved me about 2 hours of working on a Samsung 50" TV. Received the TV for free, Man claimed it burned out but I opened it up and cleaned the t-con ribbon cables and it works great. I was going to check to see if some of the leds were burned-out but like the TV in this video. The screen is glued. So I'm not taking the screen off, stupid design, I turned down the brightness and it's been working for 3 months. I've learned a ton from your videos thanks for sharing your knowledge.

    Nice economical repair, isolating and replacing the single LED rather than the whole array.

    Watched your video, ordered the LED tester from Amazon, found that I only had 1 bad LED, ordered that replacement from EBay. $21.00 later (tester and new LED) and my TV is fixed!

    Hey Brother. I seen some of Your video. Great stuff.
    Please Don't Speed up ur video. Even it's take long.. because sometime very minor details missed in fast speed. Also what ever u said also gone. For you it's everyday work. But for those who opened TV first time, So afraid to miss small details....
    I have to Slow in 0.25 speed to see few things.

    This is great! I have 2 of these TVs. One has bad capacitors which I can do. The other has bad LEDs like in the video but I don't think I'd be able to do all of this as I don't have the space or the experience for it sadly.

    If you know it's backlight from the start, can you juat go in from the front without removing screws on the back?

    Did you use a Plastic credit card or something else? What liquid or chemical did you use to ease the glue and facilitate the separation of the screen?

    • @SOSfixElectronics
      @SOSfixElectronics  2 года назад

      The adhesive is easy to separate. Use a plastic card or a cut a piece from a soda bottle. I use the alcohol for a strong adhesive

  • @SweatyCubes

    So you use glue b7000 when putting the screen back on but what do you use with the plastic card around the edges when you're taking it off?

    • @balyemez9489

      Should be alcohol, it dissolves the glue.

    Thanks for this video. Do you know if the tu7000 glue is still holding the screen in place? Is this glue reliable or should double sided tape recommended as a better option?
    Thank you and keep it up the good work.

    • @SOSfixElectronics
      @SOSfixElectronics  2 года назад

      The adhesive glue is strong and works good for the glass and metal. The double side tape will works too just need to remove the the old adhesive first.

    Right to repair?? ... wow, they're really trying to discourage people by making it harder to do it or more labor intensive for the same reason, they know time is money. Nicely done and thanks for showing us what these guys are up to. Next they'll all be doing it, no more screws, no more plastic clips, just glue it! 🙄 Higher risk screen removal - more liability. 😖 Does it pay to try and soften the glue with a hair dryer as you go, would doing it that way lessen the risk of cracking the panel?

    • @SOSfixElectronics
      @SOSfixElectronics  2 года назад +4

      you right bro. warming up the screen makes the adhesive more easy to go, but this screen it has a plastic gray film on the top may have discoloring if it wormed more then it should.
      those companies wants us to close.
      the customer knows about this risk he said it worth to try :D i love the understanding customers

    Why would they wire all of the LEDs in series? If they had them in parallel if one LED went bad the TV would keep on ticking (might just be a little dim in one spot). Very stupid design. Designed to fail.
