Watched your video, ordered the LED tester from Amazon, found that I only had 1 bad LED, ordered that replacement from EBay. $21.00 later (tester and new LED) and my TV is fixed!
This is great! I have 2 of these TVs. One has bad capacitors which I can do. The other has bad LEDs like in the video but I don't think I'd be able to do all of this as I don't have the space or the experience for it sadly.
Thanks for this video. Do you know if the tu7000 glue is still holding the screen in place? Is this glue reliable or should double sided tape recommended as a better option? Thank you and keep it up the good work.
The adhesive glue is strong and works good for the glass and metal. The double side tape will works too just need to remove the the old adhesive first.
Right to repair?? ... wow, they're really trying to discourage people by making it harder to do it or more labor intensive for the same reason, they know time is money. Nicely done and thanks for showing us what these guys are up to. Next they'll all be doing it, no more screws, no more plastic clips, just glue it! 🙄 Higher risk screen removal - more liability. 😖 Does it pay to try and soften the glue with a hair dryer as you go, would doing it that way lessen the risk of cracking the panel?
you right bro. warming up the screen makes the adhesive more easy to go, but this screen it has a plastic gray film on the top may have discoloring if it wormed more then it should. those companies wants us to close. the customer knows about this risk he said it worth to try :D i love the understanding customers
Why would they wire all of the LEDs in series? If they had them in parallel if one LED went bad the TV would keep on ticking (might just be a little dim in one spot). Very stupid design. Designed to fail.
Nice economical repair, isolating and replacing the single LED rather than the whole array.
Thanks for the video, I learned new things about new TVs from it, and thanks to the good helping hands you get from that 🦁

good job, did you replaced all strips? is better replacing them all and you dont have to take the tv apart again!
Thank you for showing the proper way to test and match the (rouge) led bulb.
How long to cure the adhesive before using the TV?

I also have two of this model, both were purchased at the same time and both died within a week of each other.

Would applying thermal paste underneath the led strip help prevent it from burning out?
yes or thermal adhesive
Like Always Good Work
Hi, great video. Need some advice what did you use to cut the screen away from the frame? And also what glue did you use to stick the screen back on?
plastic card glue b7000
Think he meant T7000
Did more research and I guess it's color preference. T=BLACK B=clear. So I guess it's either. Srry
Is the t7000 easy to remove compared with the foam adhesive that comes from the factory?
In case the tv comes back for repair?
yes, usually the new leds will last long
@@SOSfixElectronics thanks again sir.
Hi , i have the same problem my led is dead, where can i purchase a new strip
WOW, we need you in Germany to Repair Electronics. Please use a better Camera for Videos. I Love how you Teach this Boy / Son.
yes i should
Or how do i change that small led light or where i could purchase it and do u have a video that show how to replace s burn led ??
ebay have them now, yes i do have a video
So you use glue b7000 when putting the screen back on but what do you use with the plastic card around the edges when you're taking it off?
Should be alcohol, it dissolves the glue.
You mean like Isopropyl alcohol?@@balyemez9489
If you know it's backlight from the start, can you juat go in from the front without removing screws on the back?
Do you have to disconnect ribbon cables from screen?
yes you do

Did you use a Plastic credit card or something else? What liquid or chemical did you use to ease the glue and facilitate the separation of the screen?
The adhesive is easy to separate. Use a plastic card or a cut a piece from a soda bottle. I use the alcohol for a strong adhesive
Hisense seems to have a lot of problems with backlighters.with tvs that are only one to three years old.
