how to test Repair LED strip in in 32 inch LED tv, it consists of 2 LED strips ad each strip have 6 LEDs. both strips are in series. i explained how to test this it using digital multimeter specially when we dont have LED backlight tester. so without led tester we can use multimeter, 3.6 volt battery or 9 volt battery or using a regulated power supply. and we can replace strip or we can repair individual led

When you supply the 18 volts, do you need to limit it's current with a power supply setting or does the internal resistance in the LED's limit the current to a safe level?
each led consumes 3 volts, so its the right amount of power for a 6 led stripe,

voltage value depends on the LED type, the voltage are maintained by the monitoring the current by the LED driver

From my RepairCafé experience I can say, the LED backlight strip is the most common failure on Flat-TVs nowadays. It will last shorter and shorter, often not more than 3-4 years. Often these TVs will be thrown away in my country. What a waste of resources. Thank you for your repair video.
yes sir you are right. the main reason is that the LEDs used in LED strips are poor quality, which have very low operational hours life.

Gentleman you used flux for soldering LED but did not bother to clean it with IPA. Flux is acidic in nature, so copper on track will be eaten away by flux in few months, again problem will reoccur. This is from my past experience, I'm active in this field from last 45 years.

What causes Backlight to get spoiled .. I replaced a single Backlight, 2 months later the same backlight which was replaced is already burnt and spoiled... All other Backlight are working

Not to mention in some places shipping is expensive, and they are better off swapping g out parts from old tvs. You'd be surprised at how creative they are! We get lazy in the US and such. With things so easily available.
