I guess he was putting the lotion on the skin and doing what he's told?

In Shrek, when Farquad is in bed while the Magic mirror is showing him pictures of Fiona...he gets a chubby... and you can see it popping up on the sheets.. that is straight up funny
the lord farquad thing from shrek caused chaos for my poor little niece who was 5 at the time and happily drawing at school and drew shrek being chased by the lord and she actually called him ''lord fuck wad'' when the teacher asked her about her picture. this teacher obviously hadnt seen shrek and kicked her out of the classroom for using inappropriate language and called my sister at work to tattle on her who promptly laughed her arse off and explained to the teacher what my niece had drawn and said. my poor niece was so confused by why she was getting wrong for simply drawing a picture

There's another dirty joke in Shrek 2 where donkey accidentally kicks Shrek in the nuts when they first meet puss in boots. Donkey says,"Did I miss?!" Shrek says,"Nope... you got them!" lol
I'm sorry, but doesn't all children's movies have at least one sex joke? That's part of the fun when you grow up and re-watch
"One can get too familiar with vegetables" is a play on words. "Familiar" in the sense of inappropriate informality with subordinate members of staff and "vegetable" in the sense of "mentally incapable or brain damaged". He's basically saying "I'm your boss and you're an idiot".
That joke in Monster House is definitely dirty but it's not hidden at all: It's in the trailer after all. They must have gotten away with it due to a surprising number of people not knowing what a vulva is.

They had a similar moment in "Osmosis Jones". When Ozzie and Drix were speeding to save the city of Frank, Drix says they need to get to the uvula and describes it as "that little dangly thing". Ozzie interrupts him by saying, "Boxer shorts", and he veers off into another lane of traffic. Drix gets mad and shouts, "Not that dangly thing! The one in his throat!" Ozzie turns the car around again, saying, "I knew that. I knew that."

Yep, it was actually intended to be more of a PG-13 movie aimed at older fans and adults, but it had to be re-written and dumbed down after the studio got involved.

Except that Shaggy was obviously a stoner in the cartoons as well. As an adult it is completely obvious but as a child you had no idea.
The opening scene showed dmoke billowing out of the roof vent on the Mystery Machine, we then hear Shaggy (from iside the van) proclaim something to the effect of "Man, Scoob, talk about toasted!" Cut to interior of the Mystery Machine where Shaggy is seen grilling on a hot plate. "Yep, nothing like toasted eggplant burgers in the morning". Ba dum pssssh.
Oh, I'm fairly certain they noticed the Farquaad thing. The character was more or less a direct attack on Michael Eisner of Disney, so it wasn't just "hur hur, let's see if we can sneak in a dirty word." It was more "you know what would be a good name for a character based on our old boss that we hate? Fuckwad."

Fun fact: DreamWorks' approach to making their characters dialogue sound as natural as possible was to often let the voice actors improvise it themselves.
So that wasn't the writers. That was Chris Rock improvising. Meaning that joke was hidden so well that even the producers, directors and animators who spent months on end playing that sound byte months on end making sure they got the lip movement absolutely right: Even they didn't pick up on it.
Actually, the name Farquad was actually meant to be a jab at someone. I can't exactly remember who it was directed towards, but apparently the creators had heat with someone, and modeled the character after that person. They then named him Farquad, or just plain Fuckwad, to further spite said person.
That would be MIchael Eisner, head of Disney at the time. Farquad's face is also modeled on Eisner's.
In the Incredibles, when Syndrome catches the family and notices that Mr Incredible and Elasti-girl have children, he says something along the lines of "You married elasi-girl? ... And got bu-sy!!"

there is an even more direct yet subtle joke in the Scooby-Doo movie that heavily implies that shaggy smokes pot and is easy to miss. there's a scene where it shows the outside of the mystery machine with a bunch of smoke coming out the windows and you can hear shaggy giggling like he's super stoned but when it shows what he's doing inside he's just cooking some food and super happy about it. i thought that one was pretty funny.

Just learned they're called "Mia Tia". How that had flown over my head is beyond me.
Let's not forget that when Shaggy and Scooby got invited to Spooky island they were "BBQ" in the van when a hard knock comes at the door and they panic, try to sneak out throw the other doors and a shit ton of smoke comes out. An obvious reference to getting caught smoking by the cops. Oh and a song called "Pass the Dutchie" was playing.
And also in the second movie where Shaggy is literally dressed as a blunt. Lmao.
Small Soldiers also got away with the adult jokes when the one soldier asked for some "R&R" when they were making the army of girls dolls alive in Dunst's bedroom.
The funny thing is that, Madagascar's joke was included in the Spanish dubbed version. Here in Latin America, we say "miércoles" instead of "mierda" sometimes as you say "shoot" instead of "sh*t". So Sugar Honey Iced Tea became "Miércoles" here. P.D: If you come to Latin America "miércoles" means Wednesday, so you are safe from swearing.

I was the only one of my friends to get the Farquad reference when it first came out. I think they got away with it because no one in the movie said it with a British accent. I imagine that the Brits got it pretty quickly when Shrek came out over there.

Absolutely Dreamworks knew what Farquad was supposed to mean and let them get away with it. Lord Farquad was created as Jeffrey Katzenberger's one big middle finger to his former boss - Disney CEO Michael Eisner, so of course he was going to have THAT type of joke on his name.
The 2 cars are called Mia and Tia because they based on the Mazda mx5 or also know as the miata hence Mia and Tia

I feel the scene in Scooby Doo when Scooby and Shaggy leave the Gang and it cuts to the mystery van with smoke pouring out of the top vent, and they have Pass the Dutchie playing should of definitely of been mentioned, even though we all know they were just cooking pancakes ...right? lol
Lord Farquaad was an in-gag at the expense of Disney's Michael Eisner, and a barely disguised one. His height being in reference to Jeff Katzenberg ( Eisner once said of him, "I hate that little midget") was probably all that saved Dreamworks from a lawsuit...which, in of itself, is pretty funny. Other than that almost everything to do with Farquaad, right down to the car park at Duloc is a poke at Disney.

The Lion King had sexual references abound, ironic for such a highly praised children's film. This is especially the case early in the final act after Simba and Nala are reunited. Simba suggesting the two "start a little pride of their own". Nala giving Simba the "You know you want it" eyes. The smiles on Timon and Pumba's faces turning to looks of horror (sound familiar Simpsons fans?). Among others.
I thought that the angry chef said "not even vegetables would like to be familiarized with you" or something along those lines.

The scene where the guy with the black hair and ponytail and the princess are literally having sex when the high priest walks in and the guy has to talk to him with a half buttoned shirt and messed up hair while the princess hides. It was so on the nose that even as a kid most of the kids in the room knew what was what.
Don't forget Scooby Doo 2 when they each meet their fans and Shaggy stops before he walks past his fans, sniffs the air (recognizing the pot smell), and then greets them

Dude, Brave Little Toaster is the darkest kids movie ever. Just . . . rewatch it as an adult and realize that characters are singing about mental illness and wanting to die because they're old and abandoned. How that got passed as a film for children, I'll never know.
Not many people noticed this but in Gremlins 2 the leading lady mentions a memory about going to the park and meeting a man that looked like Abe Lincoln. If you see the context of the scene, it sounds a lot like she had been molested as a child. Dunno how the writers got away with that one.

For those who haven't noticed or seen the lemon party in cars. In the movie, Lightning McQueen has some sponsored by a group of rusty old cars. Or grandpa cars. They are holding a celebration in honor of Lightning McQueen, where they have decorated the party using lemons. So unless you know what a lemon party is, this should not give off any red flags. But if you google lemon party you will get it right away.
oh yeah, I forgot the castle song that is just like 'The Assumption Song'.

I'm actually going to watch King of Thieves now that I know he's in it. Have loved the guy ever since I saw him in Sliders, where he pretty much carried the show with his portrayal of Professor Arturo.
And of course, Gimli is pretty badass.
Farquaad (and everything associated with him) was supposed to be a deliberate stab at a Disney higher-up after whom the character's face was also fairly closely modeled. The whole of Shrek was designed to be a giant middle finger to Disney in general, what with its off-beat treatment of otherwise stereotypical fairytales.

Sinbad - when his first mate is trying to discourage Sinbad from travelling to Tahiti, he mentions that the women are cannibals. To which Sinbad replies "Yeah!!" most enthusiastically. A subtle oral sex joke (eat me) which made me bark with laughter in the cinema at the audacity of the writers. My kid could only boggle and ask "what was funny about that?" Indeed, no one else got the joke either including these blokes here.
Also in cars, they state "I'm in hill billy hell!" how that one got into a disney flick is beyond me.
I knew about the Shrek, Toy Story 2, Madagascar and Cars jokes but only because I've got a little brother and so I re-watched these as a teenager.

The marajuana reference is also when Shaggy and Scooby is in the mystery machine and there's smoke coming out of the sun roof and they're laughing/giggling.
The Ratatouille line I think is a reference to someone who is brain dead, or a "vegetable". He was saying "one can become too familiar with vegetables" as an insulting insinuation of him being or becoming an idiot.

There's a second pot reference (that I know of) in the Scooby Doo Movie that they didn't include here. When the back of the van has smoke coming out and they open it, Scooby say's "hydrochronic" which is an obvious weed reference.
There was another pot reference in Scooby-Doo movie. They Scoob and Shaggy are cooking in the Mystery Machine, and they are both laughing while white smoke billows out of the roof.
The Frozen "shoe size doesn't matter" line should have made it in.
