Incredible. I set an early WR on this about four years ago, and while I knew there was room for improvement I never expected tricks like this to be found. Nicely done!
This was the first game i ever completed, i was so happy i did a screaming lap of honor around the house. My parents were happily confused. But damn man. That poor lion is forever thorned :(
@0rightbrain I have tried to get to the sprite storage screen, and after I jump from the cloud into the rock and use pickaxe, it pushes me up out of the rock instead of falling down. Do I need to hold a key there to make it happen, and how do you adjust if Dizzy should fall straight down or across? Thanx!
You need to get Dizzy as low as possible on the cloud then jump to the left.. And then after dizzy jumps HOLD THE MENU BUTTON. This will open the menu on the first frame where Dizzy is standing straight. Then drop an item, this changes the part of the ground to air allowing Dizzy to fall through. If you got it correct you press and hold left as soon as you close the menu to go left, do nothing to fall straight and even press right to fall right. It may take quite a few attempts to get it right. Even though I get it first try in this record it can still take 3 or 4 tries for me to get it. If you fail and dizzy pops up. Just walk down to the right. Dizzy will be on the correct place on the cloud to immediately try again. The first step in getting it right to see that you drop an item on the bottom of the screen.
