Wow. This game feels like the first Dizzy games used to feel. Not cheesy or childish but magical. The art design is just timeless. And the music is simply perfect.
@@pferreira1983 Yup, and its sequel- silly but great PD games! you could carry all objects instead of only three at a time, but that didn't make them too easy
This was the first Dizzy game I played, I managed to get through without a guide but with help from my sister who said I should try using the thorn to take out Evil Dizzy. It still took many attempts as some of the platforming is tricky, a mis-timed jump can be instant death
Or on Steam or GOG! I know the Oliver twins still have an interest in the series. I think fairly recently they completed a couple unfinished Dizzy games for the NES and put out the roms for free... Probably some legal stuff, I guess. Prince of the Yolk Folk did appear briefly on Google Play... as did some Jet Set Willy stuff from Elite Systems.
I think these are HD remasters to when they were firstly posted, that correct? Next thing you know it let alone these Dizzy games, you’ll do the WHOLE of Lotus 3, probably the rest of the Lotus games, all the Lemmings games, etc.
Ja dziś wieczór odpalam Amigę 1200 i gram w ISHAR 1. Amigowa grafika zawsze była piękna i miała to coś. Stare gry miały magię, dalej mają jak się je odpala na retrosprzęcie.
Has anyone played the recent Dizzy the Adventurer game that you can download from the Dizzy fansite (apparently it was originally planned to be released by the Oliver Twins for the Megadrive but never got finished). It's basically a copy of Prince of the Yolkfolk but with a few minor differences. I've played it and managed to get half way through but cannot seem to complete the game because none of the items I have left will work on anything, ie the magic potion, magic carpet (though I've heard you don't need to use that). I've gotten up to the second castle and chopped the thorns, picked up the spanner, given the bugle to the man, used the key to get into sleeping Daisy, etc. I thought the potion would be used on Daisy, but nothing happens. As it's pretty much a copy of POTYF, I thought it would be easy to complete.

The music is awesome.
Truly the masters of code.
I've always felt that Dizzy games are the perfect graphic adventure games, I can't believe they haven't been ripped off more often.

@@RoqueFortStu I didn't even finish the first game so very much in line with Dizzy then. 🤣
Best soundtrack to a game ever.
such a good soundtrack! I'm amazed after all these years i could hum along to all of it accurately without any missteps!

Magnificent game
This is seen as one of the series best entries and I can see why.
By whom?
@@607 Critics and some gamers from what I understand.
It’s easily the best Dizzy game and easily the best soundtrack to any game ever
@@MrRuss81 It's not an Oliver Twins game I think? 🤔
Was the music original? It is amazing I still love it to this day.
I’m getting dizzy from all these Dizzy games
Great job there. Nice uplift at work :D
I really wish we had these on PSN and Xbox Live

@@YouNaughtyMoose I'm not sure it's about legal issues. They own the rights.
I assumed Codemasters did. It's bizarre they don't do something with them then since they seem to want to keep the franchise alive.

This isn't HD.
Lotus Turbo Challenge 3 - oh the memories!
Took a long while to figure out how to get out of the cave at the beginning when you're 6 years old
Przeszedłem całą grę, ale bardzo późno... Około 2003 roku już na PC. Pamiętam jak wczoraj. Fajna gra, super muzyka.

Amazing when I never thought this game egg-sisted😂
So, are the bread, potion and flying carpet all red herrings?
I loved this version
Great game good job! Thanks buddy the egg did a superior job lol😊
Music was pretty good.

You're saying they give good scores to good games? Never!
So Muse stole this beat?
Muse stole a lot of things.
Who's Muse?
No offence, but I’m getting bored of that Dizzy marathon...
Anyway, your videos are good.
Dizzy games actually kinda suck.
And I say that even though I actually like old school games.
27:25 ~ Yes! Put that thing in her face!!
Your opinion...(cough BS cough). Sorry, bad cough.
Music on Atari ST version is better
