I too love your videos Tracie, I think this is a great idea with the envelopes... who would have ever thought you could do all that with a couple of envelopes and a bit of fabric etc... xox ❤👍
Love that you leave the "mistakes" in as it makes me feel better, as I make a lot of mistakes! Thanks again for yet another great tutorial! Really appreciate them ! xx
Tracie I really love 💕 you!!!!!!! You’re so talented and clever and so self effacing.......... I really love 💕 this project, you give all of us would be junk journalists hope of being as good as you. You’re so natural and so funny 😆 you have me in stitches.......Thank you so much 😊😊😊😊 xx Mags
I love watching your videos and I don't mind the inking at all. Because you usually are talking while inking and I like hearing you tell stories, or instructions or whatever your talking about. I think it is rude for people to complain about it. Lol ink away..... I love it.
Yes thank you for leaving in your happy mistakes. I too make a lot and it is nice to see the reality in creativity. I believe mistakes are the stepping stone to making something beautiful not to mention what you learn from them. You are a great teacher. I really like how you tucked in the bag and it makes such a beautiful inside spine. Really gorgeous. Tracie you do a fantastic job teaching us. Thank you for all you do for us. 😁😁💖💖
Looking forward to part 3. I have the same sewing machine and I also can not back stitch while using the zig zag stitch. Go figure lol. I love watching your tutorials!
You ate so sweet to mention me in your video, thank you❤️ Your machine definitely should backstitch on the zigzag stitch...must be a small problem with your machine. I love watching your process, you are so entertaining and creative. ❤️❤️
Love watching your process and yes your machine should back stitch un zig zag hmmm Love you my sweet friend love watching your process and love listening to you too xx
For some reason, this video popped up out of sequence, obviously something I did. But still, lots of fun to watch. Now I can go on to the final one. Thx sweetie.
Hi Tracie! I’m a new subscriber, and I can tell I’m going to love your videos!!! Like your machine, I’ve just noticed recently that my sewing machine won’t backstich on zigzag either. Yeah, I don’t know if it’s something I’m doing wrong, or if it’s just not considered necessary. Anyway, looking forward to more videos!!!😊🔆
Ooh your machine doesn’t sound happy 😢 I didn’t think mine did zigzag stitch backwards either it kept jamming up, but I found if I started sewing then without stopping slowly went backwards it did work, just a suggestion 😊 x I’m sure there are more experts out there !
These videos are very informative but also very humorous. I feel like we could be related, I could trip over a hair. Also maybe your machine just did not like being tripped over. 😊
Tracie , some models don’t backstitch on zigzag or overlock stitch , so look in your manual to see if it tells you ? Although I have a brother and a bernina and they both do , so just check it out first ,does your machine struggle or make a noise when trying to back stitch?. On zigzag ? If not it’s more than likely the model does not do it , so your not doing anything wrong hunni 😘
I don't think it does, strange huh? It does not struggle back stitching on straight stitch at all. On zig zag the needle just comes up and goes down in the same place LOL. x
Trace, in Your opinion would a pastel floral paper line or a bold floral paper line compliment Your Botanical stationary set best? I'm looking at Graphic 45 paper packs to go with it as We speak. Finally on it lol xx
Hehehe, I am sure both would work just as well hun. The stationary is a mix of light and bold so go for what ever takes your fancy :-D Thank you for this hun xxxxx
It's no problem. My pleasure Hun. :) Have ordered lovely papers to go with it. I'll emphasise in the video that it would go perfectly with bold colours or pastels because of the way it's made. It's very versatile isn't it? I ordered The Floral Shoppe which has a bit of both in it. I was going to order Botanical Tea as well so I could decide when I had them all in front of Me but I couldn't afford both as I also bought Prima Lavender at the same time. xxxxx
Sweetie, you keep on inking! I just adore watching and listening, I learn so much! But a word of caution from a seamstress of many many years (started at age 10 and I'm 62!): your machine is very unhappy. Whether it's not threaded correctly, or the "not right" bobbin, or the fact it needs oiling (or even just a good cleaning!) I can't be sure. The manual is your friend. Read it because the life of your machine depends on it! (When I bought my Bernina when I started my sewing business, they told me to clean it every four hours of sewing, that info should be in your manual)
Thank you sweetheart xx I do...I have. It is sorted! :-D The issue was a non-Brother Bobin. changed it and now its all good. Also spoke to a machine shop and my machine should not be oiled x
Your machine sounds terrible!!! LOL But I think it's just the ill-fitting bobbin that is making the noise. I don't know why it would not backstitch on a zig-zag stitch. I guess you would have to take it to a repair shop to have them look at it. Have it cleaned and oiled while it's there. It's much cheaper to do this than having to replace the hole machine.
Hehehe, I can't help! I have been told you can use it to renew the condition of the pad but not looked into as not spending right now! There must be tutorials on YT. Tim Holtz also sells something I have been informed. I have the reinker and its fab xxx
Tim has a Distress refresher spray that is good for all water-based ink. Ink pads and distress markers too. I ordered some at Christmas but have not used it yet. He has a good youtube explaining. ruclips.net/video/AaleUlbEp5w/видео.html
Your machine isn’t threaded correctly. Look at the diagram on top. The thread needs to come around the little silver round thing. That keeps the thread at the right tension. Might help with the noise too. I have the worse time threading a machine! ❤️❤️❤️
LOL, Once I reloaded the thread, I had threaded it correctly. LOL Dont know why I didn't before, I always do (maybe LOL). Still makes the noise though so I think it needs oil, servicing, or something.
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals There are tiny/small holes on the outside of your machine you probably never noticed. Those are for oil. Be sure to use sewing machine oil. It's not expensive.
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals Can I add a note of caution before you oil... check your machine book first.... apparently not all the newer machines need oil. My older machine did and aI oiled it. My newer machine does not and I went to oil it as I had done my older one, thank goodness I was stopped.....so just check first on your machine
My camera, is a camera and not a camcorder so I cant speed up or pause when I film. I can speed up after filming and I have done in the past. There are 2 issues with that, first, some people do not like the sound and I do not really know what I am doing, second is the time. It takes so long to load the movie into the software, further time for me to edit, even more time to save the edited movie and then time to upload onto YT. I am talking 3 hours ish in total. I just don't have that time. Wish I had a technician for all that stuff, but its just me. Apparently there is an option to speed up when you watch so, I hope people will do that, if they don't want to watch LOL. That is certainly a quicker option for me. Well that was a war and piece style reply! LOL Sorry xxxx
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals no, that's OK! I see now. I'm new to all of this, I hadn't realised some people use phones, some camcorders... Its all good tho, frankly; if it works for you it works for me. It won't stop me watching you and learning, And being entertained! by you x
Tracie please send me the information on your machine and I’ll go down to brothers and pick up some bobbins for you. Using the wrong bobbin is grinding your bobbin case down. That is very expensive to replace. Your booklet should tell you the number of the bobbin. If not give me the serial number of your machine and I can find it that way.💕🧚♂️💐
I too love your videos Tracie, I think this is a great idea with the envelopes... who would have ever thought you could do all that with a couple of envelopes and a bit of fabric etc... xox ❤👍

Hehehe Mags my dear, thanks you again xxx
I love watching your videos and I don't mind the inking at all. Because you usually are talking while inking and I like hearing you tell stories, or instructions or whatever your talking about. I think it is rude for people to complain about it. Lol ink away..... I love it.
As always, very creative and fun! On to part three! TFS, Tracie!
Never disastrous, always fun to watch. You are just human, like the rest of us ❤️
Thank you x
I love your videos, so inspirational! Thank you for sharing
I second all of the good things already mentioned below. I love watching your videos. Keep up the great work and TFS!
Thank you Beverly xx

Thank you Jackie and you are more than welcome. I will continue to make mistakes and sometimes I make the same ones again LOL xx
Looking forward to part 3. I have the same sewing machine and I also can not back stitch while using the zig zag stitch. Go figure lol. I love watching your tutorials!
Its a bit weird don't you think? Daft machine! xx
Yes it is weird!
Wonderful video! I enjoy watching and learning!
So useful watching all the process for a beginner Traciexxx
Those laces are gorgeous. Interesting conversation on the technology and software shortcomings of making and uploading videos.
I had to come back and re watch this one! I'm so excited!!
I love your videos, keep up the good work!! (: Xxx
You ate so sweet to mention me in your video, thank you❤️ Your machine definitely should backstitch on the zigzag stitch...must be a small problem with your machine. I love watching your process, you are so entertaining and creative. ❤️❤️
I will have to refer to the book...I hate doing that LOL I can't work it out! LOl Thank you lovely xxx
Love watching your process and yes your machine should back stitch un zig zag hmmm
Love you my sweet friend love watching your process and love listening to you too xx
It's ok Tracy. It's going to be beautiful
For some reason, this video popped up out of sequence, obviously something I did. But still, lots of fun to watch. Now I can go on to the final one. Thx sweetie.

Tracy you should start. A bloopers channel I am sure we would all follow both...
LOLOL This is my blooper channel LOL Thank you huni :-D xxxx

Yay!
Oil the sewing machine, change your needle, it will sound better.
Hi, is that a glass surface you are working on if so are they better?
Hope to see u soon xx
You too sweetie. Love you millions xxx

I craft with you while I watch your video so you just keep on inking. That way I can craft longer.
um, glycerin tip???? for distress inks? fill me in please!!!
Hehehe, I can't help! I have been told you can use it to renew the condition of the pad but not looked into as not spending right now! There must be tutorials on YT. Tim Holtz also sells something I have been informed. I have the reinker and its fab xxx

Your machine needs oiling. It should have come with a small bottle of machine oil.
Mmmmm, not in the little stash so maybe I will pick some up...and find out where to oil LOL. xxx Thank you hun xxx
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals If you got wrong bobbin in that can cause that noise, and yes you should be able to go backwards on zig zag stitch. 😀
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals There are tiny/small holes on the outside of your machine you probably never noticed. Those are for oil. Be sure to use sewing machine oil. It's not expensive.

Isn't there a way of you speeding up the camera while you ink? I don't mind, but if you want to get it all in in one....And not say sorry (!)....

Ohhh, The bobbin in the machine is a genuine one. That is so kind of you, thank you so much for the offer huni xx
