Tracie, you are so funny....I got so tickled at your stories about you falling, however I hate that you fell. Thank you for all your work and tutorials. Love listening to you chat away.
I can empathize. My craft 'studio' consists of one table, three shelves, and the floor space beneath the table at the rear of our lounge. The table too is crammed with boxes, bags, storage pots and jars, my laptop and printer, my overlocker machine ... My sewing machine is under the table next to my big paper cutter, more baskets of old books and paper, and a foot rest. I also have a laser printer on a trolley with stuff on the lower shelf. I'm amazed I get anything done! Glad you only hurt your pride when you fell. I have problems with my balance so I always have an impressive collection of bruises, mostly from tripping over my craft equipment. I've broken toes, dislocated fingers and thumbs and twisted ankles in recent years, but nothing stops me doing what I love, which includes watching you share your successes and failures. I love your style and enthusiasm, and the fun you have making such beautiful projects :)
Oh Tracey sorry to hear about your stumble, glad you’re ok. Totally sympathise having come from a craft room of my own to traveling in a caravan, space is a luxury you forget you have. Now set up in an annex attached to the caravan where in winter it’s either too cold or windy to do much and summer is too sweltering to work outside the air conditioned van. We live in the caravan permanently and travel around for work, here in Australia we’re called grey nomads. Great life that makes you invent ways to craft successfully. Thanks for your great videos and for keeping us entertained.
Deborah that sounds so cool! I think its an exciting way of life :-D My nan was a Romany Gypsy :-D I did a Boho journal once, I put a photo of my families caravan in it. Its an amazing image. Wow, sorry to blah blah blah LOL xxx
Tracie that is so unreal about your eye. I am blind in my left eye too. When I was a little girl I had a high fever and it killed the nerves in my eye. I thank God everyday for my good eye. Thank you so much for your inspiration
Its good right? I manage but I have never known any different. I used to hate the 3 d glasses that had different colour lenses...They never worked for me LOL LOL xxx
This is very inspiring Tracie. I love watching you create. I am also trying to not spend too much time deciding where all the pieces of paper, fabric, lace, etc... go. This is very helpful. Thank you.
I love your box. I collect boxes for my stuff and I have never seen one like it. Also I hope you didn't hurt yourself when you fell. I just love your videos and I watch them over and over.
I've had very bad ankles from childhood - I had one or the other sprained almost monthly. Once I even fell in the road with cars coming because I tried to cash across!! In the 90s, I had ligament reconstruction surgery on both ankles which was a big help - the surgeon told me the bone would snap before the ankle would roll over...well, three years ago I did fracture my lt ankle when I fell in the kitchen. The arthritis was so severe from old injuries that I had to have a fusion. I'm sorry you fell - just be careful - we can't manage without you spending time sharing your wonderful talent! 😘
I hope your feelings are that you are doing excellent work . I thank you for your experience and the wonderful job you do in sharing with us your ideas.
I’m so sorry about the fall...sounds like something I’d do too. I’m such a klutz! You should see my craft room, at the moment I have to “hop” over things to get across the room. It’s definitely a safety hazard! Enjoyed the video!
You were very lucky not to hurt yourself! Perhaps you need to build a shed at the bottom of the garden as a studio! Lol I was amazed how you did that spine, it looked very pretty. I don't care how long your videos are or how many parts they are in, I'll always watch them. Currently sitting in the wonderful sunshine, cuppa tea, and watching your wonderful ideas. Thank you . Hugs from Nch xxxx
Great video, love to hear you chat as you craft that What makes your videos so friendly. It's sunny in Leicester also, very hot so I stay in n craft lol. Thank you for sharing your videos of ideas , fun n inspiration. 😀
Hi Tracie!!! i am a new subscriber and i have been just LOVING your videos AND your style. i can totally relate to you and your work. thank you so much for your hard work to teach people like me :).
Sorry about your mishap, but I must confess, in telling your story I did chuckle a bit. I am a total klutz in flipflops. Glad you are not too badly hurt though. This project is really beginning to take shape. Can't wait to see the finished project. TFS, Tracie!
I'm blind in my left eye too ... it's caused me so many tumbles and falls it's unreal! I just recently found your channel, but your work is so lovely! :D
fun video again! A friend with uni-vision told me she had impaired depth perception making her very slow as a way to compensate--she was always afraid of falling. It also made driving challenging esp at nite.
So much fun Tracie!! You just crack me up. I think it would be impossible to make a create type video without the inking & I happen to like seeing literally every aspect, crazy right!! And the end result, w/the de-bossing effect, is gorgeous. I have never done that before, ---BUT--- I will now lol. Probably right after the video lol. I'm glad you didn't seriously injure yourself when you fell. I love that style envelope so I ck'd Amazon & got 0 results but I have a ton of the regular catalog style that I'm going to geri-rig to work.
Beautiful so far! Can't wait to see what you do to it next! If you can, try an epsom salt bath later so you aren't so sore tomorrow from your fall today. That's what I do as I'm prone to mishaps meself!
Hello from Canada! I am a new subscriber! I am so sorry you had a little injury!! Hope you feel better, I am loving your envelope thingy!! :) Thank you for sharing!! Loving your videos!!
I have to say I was feeling bad that I was chuckling at you when you were talking about falling but I hate that you did fall and hurt yourself.....I can relate to tripping over things constantly until i had enough and I am in the process of moving my craft studio to another part of my home so hopefully you can find a system or furniture to make it your designated space. At this point I have decided since moving to my formal living room and formal dining that we do not ever use that room or space so I am lol not going to care who sees what if my crafts because that is my love and I am not going to be bothered if they do not like it haha 🤣 On to next vid thx for sharing no more falling hehe....
Thank you my lovely, its all good. I fall all the time, just that kind of person. Good luck with your new space, sounds wonderful and as I work in my dining room, that we use as a family, I don't care what people think either! LOL. xxx
Omgoodness as you said it, comical. If u do have it recorded you could send it to afv lol. I see your okay. Love that look on the paper, embossed. I'm new to crafting and I love everything.
Oh, Tracie, you are just hilarious! I am prone to walking into walls, doorways, and stumbling around when I walk. In the summer I have edema quite badly which makes me very unsteady on my feet, at least that’s my story and I’m sticking with it! I currently have about five ugly, dark bruises on the upper inside of my left arm and no idea how they came to be. I love the envelope you’re making. Thanks for showing us the process you use. ♥️♥️♥️ from Tacoma WA.
I did reply to you comment but it seems to have vanished! Ah, I have no real excuse for being clumsy, my daughter is just the same. I am told 'more haste, less speed' but I don't move quickly and you will know that if you watch my videos LOL. I am just used to the bumps and bruises. I would say take care, but maybe its like saying it to myself! LOL xxxx Hugs xxxx
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals I totally hear you!!! I certainly don’t move fast at this point in my life either. I just don’t know why I keep getting bruises and not even knowing how I got them. When I was a kid I was always falling down. My forehead has the proof! I had bruises all up and down my shins. What a life in the “Clumsy Lane!” You and your kiddo take care, OK?!
think I'll call you Oopsy :) no really hope you're OK...I made a couple of big envelopes with vintage wallpaper because I had no good qual big ones..can't wait to see these finished
Girlfriend, glad you made it out alive! 😂No seriously, so glad you are ok. 😘 Love you and your humility. I can so relate to the calamity. The envelope thingy is turning out beautiful as always. xoxo ~Jenifer
When I deboss, I just close up my big shot platform like like I’m doing a thinlet and put it through that way. Works great. I’m re watching videos because I miss you because Luna is taking up all your days. Lol.
I am so sorry But I am Wetting myself... I could actually see your trip & fall, Mind you I did something similar the other week , My pond was involved & I didn't know i could move or leap that far.... Love watching this , it's given me a few Ideas to add to the journal for BF
Hi from the United States! I am a new Subscriber! I'm so sorry you had an accident, but I'm glad you're up and crafting again, I hope you feel better! I love your envelope! Could you please tell me what the measurements of the envelope is? Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent!
I’d call the embossing folder “damask “ as iv got one the very same and that’s what mines called ☺️ , oh dear poor you ! Sounds like a Norman wisdom moment 😂
You sound so like me as clumsy as i am and i can’t blame it on my eyes lol lol cause I have no issues with my eyes ha ha and i tend to walk into walls and trip on everything 😆 I love your let’s just create something! I’ll be watching the next one 😘 be careful and take care beautiful 💓
I am watching this video just realised I have been watching you for 1 year Congratulations on reaching 17k keep going I don't comment very often but I do watch the videos love from Norfolk Uk
I’m so sorry you injured yourself but you had me in stitches at the very beginning. I laugh because I can SO RELATE! I have no idea why but if it can happen, I am the one that gets to try it out. By April 1st this year I was hospitalized with influenza B, strep pneumonia, and staff in my lungs. Then a horrid spider bite on my hand. And just to finish up I broke my toe by stubbing it. Not just once but 4 times. Just wanted to be sure it was well broken!!😂🤣😂🤣. I fall over stuff, walk into door facings, stumble around like a drunk, and God forbid I get a sharp knife in my hand. Been going on for years so all I can do is LAUGH THROUGH IT ALL. I am a “CLUTZ” and am proud of it now!😂😂😂 How would we survive without our daily DRAMA! 🤗🤗🤗🤗. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Martha I know it shouldn't but you make me feel better! I am clearly not alone. I have only fallen down stairs once this year, I usually fall up them. I have broken a foot falling down them when I was 7 months pregnant year ago mind. I cannot get through door frames either! You take care lovely although, like me, I am sure you won't LOL xxxxx
I hope it did make you feel a tiny bit better. I now consider it the unexpected joy of the day. I fell down when I was pregnant too (many moons ago) but of course it was at the grocery as I was leaving, so EVERYONE could see!! I also fell down a “handicap” ramp at a restaurant and broke my wrist. Who does that??? When I told the doctor, he couldn’t contain himself from laughing. I seem to like being a public spectacle!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
LOL, I am fine and I didnt have a massive bruise this morning...just a tiny one, crazy as I can get a massive one and not even know what I did LOL xxx Thank you hun xx you hun xx
Well hopefully you haven't fallen again since you made this video a few months ago. I don't mind your videos being long at all I love watching them plus you give me a good giggle every time. I had to laugh at you cutting up your daughters dress. I am seriously thinking of chopping up my wedding dress from 1980. There is lots of lace and I could use it to scrapbook my wedding which I haven't done yet LOL boy have I changed! I never would have considered doing that years ago. LOL
In sorry but I have not heard of debossing. Does that mean you press the bumps down when you run it threw the machine again.I hope this is not a stupid question.
It is not a stupid question. I had the idea in a previous video and I had not seen anyone do it before. Yes, I just press out the embossing so it is semi-flat. xx Thank you for watching xxx
Do you think maybe you need a new cutting blade for your slide cutter? I had to replace mine because mine was hungrily eating my paper. It’s better to buy a four dollar blade pack than ruining a gorgeous “priceless” picture. ❤️
I can hear the conversation now. Mom: Be very careful not to get your pretty dress dirty. Daughter: Ok, Mom. Why? Mom: So it will be clean in 20 years or when I smear ink all over it.
Tracie, you are so funny....I got so tickled at your stories about you falling, however I hate that you fell. Thank you for all your work and tutorials. Love listening to you chat away.
I know I'm late finding this Traci, but dont feel alone on the falling thing. Besides, we dont fall we just do random gravity checks! Lol
