I agree with those comments, I would watch how ever many videos you do to show a process. I love your accent and your way of showing "how-to" do projects. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
I just got a envelope punch board. I love it. I'm going to make one from music paper. I love what you do in your videos. You're not afraid to show your mistakes. So human. And you are so funny. You have very good artistic talent. You're not the only one that takes a long time to make up your mind.
I love watching your videos. I learn lots from you. I watch a while then I stop and craft some. Watch and craft over and over. I really don't mind if you make more than one part of any project. I've watched other crafters who have made up to 12 parts. Some crafters make a play list and it's much easier to follow when the do that. I know exactly how you feel. I've been off my sleep schedual for months. Sleeping off and on the whole day and being up lat into the night.
Multiple part videos are fine for me. I appreciate when the You Tuber adds “part 1 of 3” to the video title. Then I know to go look for the other parts. Love all your videos. Thanks for doing what you do.
So funny, it’s Sunday, late and I’m Crafting. You’re videos are playing on my iPad, background crafty music in my ears. You’re funny and very talented. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. Happy Crafting!
I always enjoy your videos, and you make me laugh with your chatter. You're a breath of fresh air and great at what you do. One of these days I'll actually did down and make something. So far I have all the materials 😄, so I'll use your videos x
TFS this lovely 😊 vintage envelope video. Your presentation and chatty commentary and instructions are great and your sense of humour adds to the enjoyment of watching. Didn’t craft along side you today but would it be easy to follow along as your instructions are clear. Looking forward to watching more of your videos soon. Warmest best wishes from France Susanne AKA Luvcreatincards
Very cute! It's fine to do two videos instead of wasting your time trying to download one long one. I'll watch regardless because I so enjoy your art! TFS, Tracie!
As far as I am concerned, Tracie, whatever way is easier for you to video and upload is fine as long as you keep the videos coming. I have not done any videos for you tube because to me it's daunting. But I appreciate every one who does because I have learned a lot. I do love the things I have watched you do. Thanks for showing how the envelope punch board works. I had always wondered. Now I know so don't ever be concerned with showing how things work because there is always someone like me who has no clue!!😊
I sure am late to this party but I just found this video and just live the envelope. I just started junk journaling and love all your videos. You are so talented. I craft with you when I can. You have taught me so much.... yet I have so much to learn. Lol.....love listening to you while I work. Thank you for sharing so much.
I film with a Logitech c920. I love it. As far as I know there is no time limit. I usually edit my soap videos to shorten them. But I just recorded a journal one I don't think I'll have to edit. Works great. I hook it up to my computer and then I can easily see what I'm filming and pause. I don't think there is any problem with lots of little videos. I think we will all watch whatever your willing to film! As far as sleep, I'd suggest Benadryl. Here in the US it's actually an allergy med however my dr told me it's used more now as a sleep aid than an allergy med. I also like melatonin. It's with the vitamins. It's what your body naturally releases to make you tired. Works great. Hope you continue to feel better. Thanks for sharing
Tracie, that’s so awesome and beautiful and stunning..... I really love 💕 watching you create.....I’m going to have a go at making some of those. xx Mags
Tracie I love your videos. I'm a SAHM and other than school, kinder and supermarket runs, I don't get out much or see or speak to anyone. I don't get to craft along with you (yet), but I watch you while making breakfasts, school lunches, snacks ect.... And it feels like I have a friend in the kitchen with me chatting away. Yourself and Gayle are my go to girlfriends.
Iv love your stream of consciousness when you craft. There are those of us out here who have these conversations with ourselves and sometimes take longer to figure out which way we want things. I do not mind two videos at all. I am learning each day from you and others and love to watch however many you make.
I use a webcam, I think I purchased it for less than $20, and then I discovered that my PC comes with a free included program that records what your webcam is imaging. It did seem to take a while to upload my video to RUclips, but that was a few years ago with probably a not-so-savy computer, lol. Recently, however, I did try uploading to RUclips again, and it was much faster. I personally like longer videos, imho. I suppose the trend is to make short videos in order to capture the attention of busy crafters, but it's going to get so short that I will have to do telepathic crafting, I am not sure if I can do that, lol (kidding). Thank you for your videos, I love your style, you are a natural.
so enjoy your tutorials ,I am a newby to this craft and watched loads of videos, its so refreshing to find english ones ,as i feel i am more likely to be able to get all the things one needs ! keep up the good work ....
Glad I am not the only one, I had a heck of a time trying to figure out that so called simple machine. I think I have it figured out now but wouldn't admit to that in a court of law. How could a simple looking device be so complicated !
Hi Tracie, As for the videos it doesn't matter if the videos are in 2 parts to me. I love your videos, your creativity and your conversations. You always put a smile on my face and inspire me to craft. Thanks for all you share!
Gorgeous little envelope, my friend! I think I've said it before, but your style and Mrs Cogs images go very well together. I agree with Carol RecraftedBoutique - do things the way that suits you best! One or two (or ten) parts doesn't matter - we will watch anyway. Because you are just that good, dear 👍👍👍🤗! As always, thank you for sharing and inspiring! Tonight I will keep busy doing you know what. Yay! xxx
Here I get a chance to relax and enjoy. These videos slow me down, and you taught me the value of proper gluing... everything else I watched was tape, tape, hurry, hurry and things I made fell apart. Also I love my big word stamp as long as I don't rock it too much and get ink everywhere. Oh, btw... 'Pants' initially drew me to your videos because our granddaughter had a pants fixation, even hanging a 'Merry Pantsmas' tree! lol
This tool is really testing my patience. I can't seem to create a decent envelop yet?! Thanks for sharing your trials makes me feel sort of normal now hahaha. Love watching your videos TFS.
I also have a love/hate relationship with the envelope maker! lol... We R Memory Keepers also have an app you can download, called the Envelope Generator. It gives you the option of picking the size of envelope you want. That way you're not stuck with just the sizes they give you on the board. I love watching your videos.
Love it! I have a book of music that I found at a thrift store, and want to make some envelopes with some of it. Now, you've given me tips on scoring, etc., and I'm all excited to make some. Thank you!
I am quite happy whichever way you do your videos - whatever is best for you! Know what you mean re inches - I always use cm! I have just got an envelope punch board - haven't tried it yet. Thank you so much for all your videos - love them! XXXX
Thanks for sharing. I have an envelope punchboard but have not ever taken it out of the box, because thought it was too difficult, but you make it look very easy! Will def give this a try. I enjoy all your videos, no matter how many parts it needs to be. But I do like to see how you go about deciding elements to add. The chit chat is fabulous (even if it is "a load of pants" you are talking about … LOL - you crack me up!!)
Oh I do like that big word stamp... I think it's such a great idea. Might need to get me one of those must be easier than typing out the words on my phone then printing them out. I love my punch board I found when using the tool with it if you use it further down the blade it's wider so scores the thinner paper much lighter... hope that helps 😊😊😊 Lovely envelope xx
Yep that is the frustrating bit getting it in there isn't it... I sort of rock the tool down but I'm sure it would be harder when trying to record it for your viewers 😁😁
Hi Tracie, I've just watched your video and I love your process of put things together! I can't decide on things right away either. Your project is turning out beautifully! Thanks you for sharing! :-)
Tracie what a gorgeous little envelope and i too have, trouble using the envelope punch board and i have the mini. I've had fails with it. So so so cute. Xc
Tracie, the video is so helpful. Thank You for sharing this w/us. I'm getting a new laptop and I'm hoping to be able to film my junk journals. Or I have "shared" w/ my hubby that I need a camera to video tape (lol) . Of course he see no need for it, lol. (So when he needs a new blade on the lawnmower; I'm going to tell him "I see no need for it", lol. He is very good to me so I'm waiting for my new camera, LOL!
Great video, Tracie! I recently got one of those envelope board thingies, and I love it, but when ever I get it out, the first envelope usually goes wrong! Once I can remember how to line it up, etc. it works fab, I say to myself well, how cool is that? what a great gadget, I think its like everything though, practice makes perfect!!
I love you videos. Sorry I missed the part where you had shingles because of family life getting in the way. Shingles are so miserable. I had them twice before the shot took effect. And you reactions to inches on the envelope board are my reaction to cm..s on a ruler. TFS
Hey Georgia, I still have them! Its flared up again and has not gone away, back at the Dr's yesterday :-( It is a real pain. I never have understood inches but I get by LOL. Thank you so much for watching xx
Just found your video on my recommended list. I always make my first envelope wrong when I use my 123 punch board. Every time, because I don't make them often. Your videos are a good length. I look forward to watching previous and upcoming videos. The envelope turned out cute.
Tracie I've heard wonders on the Logitech 900 series video cameras and plan on looking into one myself...I do believe Amazon carries them, they aren't stupid cheap, but know here in the U.S., they are achievable!
Beautiful! I need to make some of these! I prefer the larger rectangular dauber for larger items that need inking and the small round one for smaller items. I have trouble with the round one leaving round markings. I do start off the page but for some reason they don’t work as well for me on the larger stuff.
I prefer the round sponges. I seem to get too many edges with the rectangle pads. I watch your videos no matter how many segments it takes!! Thank you for enlightening me!
Tonight I am sorting beads that my G'Granddaughter had fun with yesterday. I love the look of your envelope So much I have saved the video so I can replay it when I am finished sorting. Thank you once again for keeping me company while I play. Glad you are getting better. Oh...BTW I don't have an envelope board so mine won't be so straight forward.
Lovely envelope, I've been cutting envelopes by hand, wondering if an envelope punch is worth it. Maybe I'll have to aquire one now. Anyhow, I use my phone for filming. It's a Samsung S8 and I can film for a loooong time. The video quality is pretty good too. I'm sorry I have no advice on the whole apple product universe, but i don't mind watching 2 or 3 videos in a row, just keep making them please! Love your work; love watching you!
I use my envelope punch daily because I make cards as well. I have other punch boards but this is the one I can't live without because I can make exactly what I want. It's worth gold at Christmastime!
I feel like Lucille Crimp said below - film 20 parts to a video, and I'll watch all of them!! I really love when you added the last layer - that made it!! - Rebecca
It is fine with me to have 2 or 3 videos when you demo or just a gentle chit chat. I learn something no matter how long or short. Just do not stop filming. LOL!
Oh you do crack me up! I have been battling with my envelope board for ages-absolutely useless, I mean it can’t be rocket science but I just don’t get it..........do now!!!!!!! Thank you luv!😘 Just love the way the file folder is coming along, it’s so inviting-know what I mean🤔
Love your channel (because of your personality) and have from the beginning. As far as uploading your videos in multiple parts, I believe it's actually good for your RUclips stats & visibility. The more videos you have, the more comments you have, the more likes you have (even thumbs down are considered 'viewer engagement,' so they actually help you). The goal is to get your videos advertised (for lack of a better word) in the sidebar so people can see some of your content and attract new viewers. I hope this is all making sense. Anyway, you're the best, and you've got loyal fans, so don't change a thing. 💗
Ah thank you Sue, I just wouldn't want people to get fed up going to multiple videos but it takes sooooo long to use iMovie. Thank you so much for your support :-D xx
Oh and the other thing is thumbs down do not bother me one bit :-D Someone has watched, thats a view and we don't all like everything. If someone feels the need to dislike, thats fine by me :-D
Hi Tracie, Just wanted to let you know that I use a webcam to record videos. I like it because its HD, has its own microphone and I am able to mount it easily with the tripod mount on the bottom. The only drawback is that I can't pause my video and pick up later. I can splice two together though. I paid about $80 for it btw, so you can get one for a reasonable price. (Mine is a logitech and its possible you could find one with a pause feature). Thank you for being you btw. :)
Yay hey Jessica. Had no idea you watched!!! How cool, I love watching you :-D I am looking for a webcab right now so may be a double bonus if you can just film on them. I cannot pause at the moment anyways so that will be no loss. You never miss what you never had, as they say :-D Thank ou so much for taking the time to watch and comment, xxx
HAHAHAH You'd be just fine! I would Mod for you and help you if you wanted to try sometime. Im always up late late at night, so it could work. Just saying. :)
I really enjoy your videos and I don't care how you film, one, two, three, spliced or not, whatever works best for you. I have an HP HD camcorder but have yet to make a video lol. I would love to get started but I don't know what size card to buy so that I can do a longer video if needed. Do you know anything about that? You have sold me on the Fabri-Fix or Tac lol, I bought it from Amazon Prime too for about $11.00 US then found that WalMart has it cheaper, $8.00 US for the 8oz. and when I can get to Hobby Lobby I can use their 40% off coupon. But I now know to buy 2 at a time so I don't run out.
Hehehe you will NOT be disappointed with the FabriTac. I pay £13-£14 for the large one or £7.35 each the half size.so it is much more here. But it is the only thing I really buy right now. I have a 16GB card and can have 3-4-5 videos on it before I need to delete them so that should be ok, they are cheap so a 32GB would be brilliant. xx Thanks huni for watching xx
New viewer here, love your envelope. So shabby chic to me! I don't think one or two video's makes a difference to anyone. I have the punch board also. I have had fails on it too. I punch all the way around and then when I fold it up the sides at the top are wanky!! Can be frustrating! I love your jagged ruler too! Never seen one like that. Another item to add to my list. :)
Ive just started watching yr videos and love them. I was wanting to ask if you have any particular technique when buffing on the distressing ink. Ive tried rubbing/buffing but it never , or hardly ever, goes on smoothly. Sometimes it leaves unsightly "blobby" type of marks. Even if I start rubbing in circles off the paper and gradually onto the paper, it never comes out how yours does. Wondering if there is a trick to it.It seems to grab onto the paper and instantly dries and I cant smooth out the blob. I noticed you dont use much ink, so I tried that, but it still came out a bit to heavy and not soft. T.I.A. Hope that all makes sense. Thanks Tracie.
Hi hun...Welcome to my channel. I do not press to hard if I want a lighter ink and I also have 2 pads, one is older and not as inky. Also, you could try a lighter distress ink, if you find Vintage Photo too dark xxx
@@TracieFoxCreative thanks for replying Tracie. Ive tried not pressing very hard, but it still does it. I was watching another lady last night and hers comes out just like yours. Really dont know whats going on. Maybe , as you say, its because my ink pad is new. I will try using a lot less ink and see how I go. thanks again. Lots for me to watch on your channel. Thank you.
It's lovely!! I had to buy an envelope punch board, as well. Your subscriber number has grown tremendously! Congrats!! Many hugs! If 2 videos is easier for you, then do that! I don't want your time that you could be crafting spent doing the doldrums of uploading! ;-)
I'm trying to find the Joy Craft Ruler....did you say Amazon? Can you give any suggestions that will help me find this ...I really like it and would like to order
I don't understand why someone that is interested in learning to create journals would make a critical comment about your bracelet making noise during a video. The same thing happened to Gayle from a viewer about the many times she uses the word "So". They need to keep their comments positive not negative, or watch something else. There are always those who want to be critical of talented people. Keep up the good work, & wear your beautiful bracelet.
Ah sweetie, thank you! Gayle is awesome she could say so a million times and I dont think I would notice! My bracelet is just growing :-D xxx Have a great weekend xxx
For me, it is fun to craft along with you, too. I don't really care one way or the other regarding the length of your videos. I find I watch videos under 30 minutes much more often because of my schedule. But, do what works for you. No stress....this should be fun for you too. I wake up almost everyday at 3.30 am. It's terrible. I am at the point I don't allow myself to get up and I lay down and concentrate on listening to myself breathe. I do fall back asleep but then wake up groggy. Don't know what's worse. I have a question about the UK educational system. What is half-term and is there summer break?
Hello. There are 3 terms a year in the UK and at the end of each there is a break. Christmas 2 weeks, easter 2 weeks and summer 6 weeks. In the middle of each term, there is a half term break which is 1 week. Hope that makes sense?
I agree with those comments, I would watch how ever many videos you do to show a process. I love your accent and your way of showing "how-to" do projects. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
Thank you sweetie x
Gorgeous envelope...binge watching while ill. Thank you for filming, you are a joy to listen to and watch!
Feel better soon hun xxx
You could do 20 parts of a video and I would watch them all. I truly love your videos. Your so talented and I love hearing your stories.
Ah Thank you xx

Tracie what a gorgeous little envelope and i too have, trouble using the envelope punch board and i have the mini. I've had fails with it. So so so cute. Xc
Thanks Gail, we are not alone with the punch board! xx
I don't at all mind multiple videos and that way you don't have to change anything but adding more videos. Love hearing your stories. PatriciaD
Thank you Tracie. I enjoyed that...
Yay, glad you enjoyed it. Thank you xx
LOL, yes, who needs short grass! Long grass promotes wildlife, always good :-D xx Thanks Huni xx
Thank you, yes practice LOL xx
Tracey two videos is fine if you need to. Whatever works best for you. I just enjoy watching your wonderful ideas
Cool. Thank you Nancy xx
I like two videos! I don’ always hv time for more than half an hour! Love your work! ❤️❤️❤️
Cool Thank you xx
LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDEO!!!!!!
Two videos are fine love to listen to the conversion and send a answer to you
Just found your video on my recommended list. I always make my first envelope wrong when I use my 123 punch board. Every time, because I don't make them often. Your videos are a good length. I look forward to watching previous and upcoming videos. The envelope turned out cute.
Welcome Lovely, I thought I had already replied to this but I clearly didn't! Please enjoy my channel xxx
Tracie I've heard wonders on the Logitech 900 series video cameras and plan on looking into one myself...I do believe Amazon carries them, they aren't stupid cheap, but know here in the U.S., they are achievable!
Make it easy on yourself whatever works best, we will watch them anyway 😀 love your videos
Thank you Carol xx
I think doing your videos in 2 parts would be great. I learn so much from you. Thank you!
Thank you Vickie xx
Beautiful! I need to make some of these! I prefer the larger rectangular dauber for larger items that need inking and the small round one for smaller items. I have trouble with the round one leaving round markings. I do start off the page but for some reason they don’t work as well for me on the larger stuff.
Yes I find the round mark sometimes although usually when I put on a new pad. Thanks for the tip, I think I will get the big one xxx
Maybe mine are still too new! I just need to use them more!!!!!
Thank you Tracie... Beautiful as always... 💕
Anytime Lois x
I prefer the round sponges. I seem to get too many edges with the rectangle pads. I watch your videos no matter how many segments it takes!! Thank you for enlightening me!
Tonight I am sorting beads that my G'Granddaughter had fun with yesterday. I love the look of your envelope So much I have saved the video so I can replay it when I am finished sorting. Thank you once again for keeping me company while I play. Glad you are getting better. Oh...BTW I don't have an envelope board so mine won't be so straight forward.
Yay, more than happy to keep you company lovey. I used to use an envelope as a template and it works just fine. No problem if its not straight! xxx
Maybe I will look into changing my phone although I like that it syncs with my Mac. Oh maybe a new camera is in order? :-D xx
I use my envelope punch daily because I make cards as well. I have other punch boards but this is the one I can't live without because I can make exactly what I want. It's worth gold at Christmastime!
Beautiful ! Xx
Thank you xx
I feel like Lucille Crimp said below - film 20 parts to a video, and I'll watch all of them!! I really love when you added the last layer - that made it!! - Rebecca
Another thing to put on my " must have"
It is fine with me to have 2 or 3 videos when you demo or just a gentle chit chat.
Ah thats great...glad to help although you did see the mess I made of the first 2? LOL xx
2 videos is just fine
Tracie Fox LoveJunk Journals yes! And then you can start live streaming!! Lol
LOL I want to but it scares me LOL x
HAHAHAH You'd be just fine! I would Mod for you and help you if you wanted to try sometime. Im always up late late at night, so it could work. Just saying. :)
Ah thats awesome! I will get a camera sorted and let you know. I still have to figure the whole thing out :-o I am pants at technology LOL x
Love all your videos Hugs Bonnie
Thanks Bonnie xx
New viewer here, love your envelope. So shabby chic to me! I don't think one or two video's makes a difference to anyone. I have the punch board also. I have had fails on it too. I punch all the way around and then when I fold it up the sides at the top are wanky!! Can be frustrating! I love your jagged ruler too! Never seen one like that. Another item to add to my list. :)
Thank you Robin, WECOME. I hope you enjoy what you see and I am so glad you joined me. Thank you so much xx
Thank you. I had a terrible time with envelopes. I can do this.
Your welcome Deborah and thank you so much xx
Cute ❤️
I am such a heavy handed scorer also.
Me too LOL xx
2 videos are good because you can take in all your intructions
Thank you xx
I don't want your time that you could be crafting spent doing the doldrums of uploading! ;-)
Hehehe, thank you. It will be much easier in 2 parts :-D xxx
I'm trying to find the Joy Craft Ruler....did you say Amazon? Can you give any suggestions that will help me find this ...I really like it and would like to order
Sorry, Its just Joy Craft ruler on Amazon. I am in the UK so maybe you will need to search for another brand of tear ruler. xx
As you would like! I'll watch them all..but seriously, what does pants mean?? Lol
Pant is a little bit rubbish LOL
Oh and thank you huni, I have to get up at 4 when I am proper awake, if I go back to sleep which would take time, I feel rubbish x
I don't mind two videos...IF they are named the same thing, with the exception of part 1 & part 2.
What is that word stamp called? Thank you
um, I dont know. I put in something like work stamp/letter stamp. Sorry hun you will have to search :-D I have had it a while now. x
Thank you, I did do a google search first (word stamp) but only rubber stamps of actual words came up. I'll keep looking
+Natasa Marinkovic you could try searching alphabet roller stamp
Thank you for all your teaching! Very sweet! If you do learn how to make a video from your phone will you make a video on making videos! Ha ha!!
LOL, I don't think I will use my phone for proper videos, it records for 15 minutes only but will be doing some shop with me on it soon xx
How would you have an option to 'sew it down' after the envelope was completely created?
LIVE LIVE LIVE!!!!!!!! xo Dude
Thinking on it! xxx Love ya Dude xx
I will so be you wingman or woman LOL
Two vids is just fine if you label them part 1 and part 2 so we can find them.
