I always enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Love your personality & your teaching style. Thank you for sharing this! Laughed out loud at those teeny tiny ink pads and the poor little robin's head. I can definitely see myself doing the same things.
Oh! These envelopes are SO gorgeous ! .. This paper is different that anything I have seen here in the US .. not quite waxed .. not really freezer paper as that has white paper with one coated side.. not parchment .. although.. I think parchment might work.. I am going to need to do some investigating now.. :) I do have a tip about when the corner punches don't seem to want to cut a clean edge.. With thinner papers, or slippery ones, using an additional layer of paper when cutting usually does the trick.. Scraps and / or junk mail work well for this purpose... just put the regular paper in with the thinner or coated paper and cut at the same time.. The regular paper should go on the cutting side of the punch. I have had better success with this method.. Hope it helps others as well.. :)
Don't know if I mentioned before, but to round the corners with a punch, put a piece of regular paper with the tracing paper or velum and it works like a charm.
I'm so glad this part One was recording! I love the "Collage a Hangy Tag envelope With Me" process video and do not think it is too long at all. I have wax and seals that I need to get out and use...thanks for reinding me. Great Tutorial, Tracie! ~Erin
When you fussy cut images they must be from a collection because they coordinate so well. I’ve come to enjoy tearing edges now but haven’t any distress inks so I’ve tried options. Haven’t been certain if they’re going to last yet am only making for myself. Thanks for the options you suggest. They make my lack of experience more at ease.
Oooh fab ideas, Tracie! Very well timed as well as I just ordered one of those envelope punch board thingies from Amazon this morning, will certainly be having a go at some of these beauties, they are perfect, and great how you explained everything for us. I have got some of that wax which I have had for about 15 years and never used, so will be trying that out too - I have seen it used with rubber stamps, I don't have one of the metal things, but I'm sure a proper rubber stamp (not polymer) would work the same way.
I love your tutorials and do not care if they are short or long. Just keep making them! Also, where did you get your board? Also, I enjoy watching you figure out your projects as you go. You do not bore!
Great tutorial, Tracie, I love your accent and could listen to you talking all day. I make a lot of my own envelopes too, but you add a different twist to it. Thanks for sharing. Debbie :)
Love the process video, Tracie, and I hade me some really good laughs :))! I now have a small pile of really pretty baking paper envelopes and I've GOT to learn how to make wax seals, it looks so perfectly vintage. Btw, your pronounciation was perfect, especially that first one! :) Keep safe, my friend! xxx
Hi Tracy. Just want to tell you how much I enjoy, & appreciate you taking your time, & creativity to share with all of us here on RUclips. I’d like to ask what the name or brand deli paper you used here. It very much looks like vellum. But you said it’s a not. Please do tell where, or what type of store you purchased it from. Thank you, Christina.
Oh huni, I dont recall but if I said its not vellum I probably would have used freezer paper...It is from Lakeland Plastics in the UK, xx It is also known as Butchers Paper? Otherwise, it may have been 90 gsm tracing paper. xx
I love this video! Can you tell me what type of books do you fussy cut your flowers and birds out of? They are so beautiful and do you glue them to card stock to make them more sturdy.
Hi Sometimes I do, it depends what I am using them for. I don't recall the books however, they and the IBS numbers are on my instagram if you would like to check it out xx Thank you for watching xx
No, I have a tutorial how to make them and there is a link to the seller who has patented them. I did not send Gayle one, it was another of her lovely subbies xx
We come to see what is next. Your bracelets are just fine. Wear whatever you will. I like your bracelets I think they are pretty, especially the silver ones, gold or gold tones to me do not stand up as beauty. Poor Robby.
