Love this trifold tutorial! I have watched it several times over the years. I sure do miss those scissors and pink plaid shirt lol. Still watching these fantastic videos. ❤️🐇
I’m new to all this, & everyone from all the groups recommended your channel, so just found you, & so glad I did. When I 1st saw you pull this out, I thought there was no way I’d be able to make this, but you make it so easy to follow! Thanks so much! So glad this channel is up, even all these years later. Your stuff is timeless! So excited, & loving your videos! ❤️❤️❤️
And it is videos like this that make me want to go back and watch all your videos, even though I have watched everything since last April :-) Can’t wait time make some of these for a swap.
Catching another older video. Card Guides! That excites me like chocolate excites me! I don't know why, but it does! Yes, they're still available! Woot! Woot! I like the way you "adjusted" the first envelope so that the picture is facing the correct direction. Good call. Great video with a great idea Tammy that I'll need to try. Be safe Joyce
Excellent re-use of the V shape cutout Gayle! Love it! It sure maximizes not only the design, but also the recycling of the scraps. You're so inspiring. Would sure enjoy crafting with you. ;-) Thank you dear for sharing your creativity and INSPIRING us all here. Big hugs! ;-)
I’m new to your channel. A FB follower sent me a link to one of your tutorials and after watching a ton of them from other crafters I found myself more confused and frustrated so I had to stop watching them until yours came along. I really appreciate the simplicity in your instructions on “how to”. Now I can say I’m no longer confused or frustrated and I’m looking forward to making my 1st Junk Journal. My daughter likes your voice, I like you’re super easy tutorials. Thanks a bunch Gayle. Many Blessings to you
Thanks so much for your response to my question regarding what glue to use on what material. I watch allllllyour tutorials, I am addicted for sure. I do have a journal in the works, paper is my passion! What crazy fun!😍
Hi Gayle I really enjoy the step by step trio fold envelopes it was fun I will be trying this one once I can get some napkins thanks for the share keep it coming
These are lovely envelopes! Gayle, you are a natural teacher! Your instructions are clear, easy to understand, and not difficult to follow. I know people have different learning styles but you seem to have three out of four styles covered. Some learn by listening, some by seeing, some by doing, and some by reading. TFS to you and Tammy.🍒☎️🌹💄🎈♥️💋
Great idea! It's a simple way of creating these envelope designs. I appreciate you sharing it with all of us. Maria from Underthenightmoon 1 linked us to your project so wanted to mention that.
You know what they say "you can't keep a good crafter down " lol , you're living proof . I got tickled when I saw you crafting with your sling still on your arm . I'm glad you're back at it .I love these envelopes , I'm going to try it myself . thanks for sharing.
Oh, I love this idea. Am going to make some today. I have some Fabric Fix also and was having a hard time squeezing it out, so I just took off the lid and removed the little silver lining and oh, it is working so much better now. I am 78 years old and have just started junk journaling. I have only made greeting cards until now. I love your videos, wish you were my neighbor.
Love the way you explain it , about cuttin the v Frist for example, those details make difference and you show us. You make me feel a bit lees overwhelmed facing a project ♥️
Thank you Gayle for passing on what your learned. I LOVE your videos. As you were talking about the retreat, all I was thinking was I WANT TO GO! Have a wonderful time and share, share, share.
These are absolutely beautiful Mom! And look at you ... already doing tutorials! You're working it like a boss! So proud of you. Just make sure to listen to your shoulder. I love you real big!
You are just the sweetest, my sweet baby girl! These just captured me. You know, when you can't sleep for thinking of a project? Tomorrow I'm going to do a show and tell video of these finished, my paper fabric, and a bunch of other stuff. Then I might be MIA for a bit getting ready for the retreat and getting ready for my Etsy grand re-opening. (Or not, cuz it seems I have to make videos). As soon as I can drive, I'm reopening. I'm hoping next week...fingers crossed. Love you, sweet pea! 😘❤️
Omigosh! Now I have to buy some napkins! as if I don’t have enough stuff “stuffed” into a small 1 bedroom house already but I absolutely love this idea and will be making SOME!!! 😂. I just came across this tonight as I have recently discovered all of these fabulous different things to make on RUclips so thank you for the great tutorial-I have it saved and you did a great job!!
Oh my goodness Gayle! I absolutely love your tutorial! You did great! Exactly the way I did it! So awesome.... I’m thrilled with all the positive feedback on this trifold envelope! Maybe we started a new trend in the journal world! Haha! I finally figured out what to do with my hundreds of vintage envelopes from collecting old cards... thank you for your tutorial! How funny... I didn’t even realize until you pointed out the positioning of the pics on the backside. You are right, now I wished I put my one bird pic facing the correct way! Haha!
Tammy, between you and Gayle we have a major trend with your trifold envelopes. Thanks so much for your idea. And thanks to Gayle for sharing it. Now when we see other artists putting these in their work, we will think of you two! I’m going now to make one - I need to use up some of my millions of envelopes and napkins and this is perfect.
Another great video Gayle . I do wish that people wouldn't take credit for ideas that are not originally their own, Tammy did a nice job but tjis isn't a new idea to all
Thank you for sharing this. I was all done crafting for the night.... until I saw this video. Two hours later and a messy craft table later, I had a couple made. I can not wait to make more!!
This is delightful!! Gayle you are a real artist. I love watching you and learning wonderful ways to create lovely items. This would be a beautiful way to present a holiday card with family pictures inside. Put a child or children's photos in one envelope, a card in one and a child's handwritten note or picture they've drawn in the other. Absolutely a bunch of ideas in my head for this. Wuvs ya and your wonderful inspirational ideas!!! ❤xo💜xo💙xo💛xo💖xo💚
LOVE it!! I've seen these in scrapbooking, cardmaking, and mini albums, but NEVER thought about it for junk journals! It's a great way to include those extra pieces of ephemera that we don't put inside the journal but that we want to give the recipient! Just a great idea! Thanks Tammy!!! Gayle, thank you so much for sharing and giving me happy crafty thoughts as I am suffering through MS pain today. I know how much time and effort filming can require from doing my own videos, so your effort is GREATLY appreciated!!
You can take this album and turn it into what was called a concertina album. I made mine just the same way but with 12 envelopes. Then, accordian the folds. Rest is the same. It was a fun longer experience. Thanks so much for sharing. I love this little one, can't wait to try it.
Oh Gayle, thank you!!! It is so cute and a person could decorate it in a lot of different ways!! And you used your hand to cut, glue and well everything!! Go girl!!!
Thank You so much for this great video. I'm thinking for little gifts for friends this holiday season and I think this is the answer....doing a happy dance. I also have an idea I'll share if I find it works.
