More very pretty creations. I love the Rita Conley flips. The envelope pockets are very nice too !! I love the butterfly with the eyelash thread. I thought I needed to pur hase more of that, but while going through some fantastic ric flowers that I'd made, there was a lot of the stuff wrapped around a cylinder under my finished flowers There was some other fluffy yarn and some other fluff too. Yeah what a find !! I said stickability when you said the ability to stick to the wax. Lol. I believe adhesion or its ability to adhere would be the correct word !! Stickability probably isn't even a word. Hahaha !!! Don't you just love all of Tim Holtz's epherma. I know I do !! They are so pretty and perfect in wherever spoy you use them !!
I mustache you a question... jk. 😂. I was literally in my craft room til 2am struggling to figure out different pockets, tucks and flips for my dt project. And when I wake up, what do you know you’ve posted a video with stellar ideas! Thank you for never letting me down! Your the best!
I look forward to your journal crafting every morning. Coffee tastes so much better while getting inspired. I have to rewarm it many times, I tend get lost in your stories. Thank you!
I enjoy your videos so much. You are such a joy to watch and listen to. When you were working with that velvet sticker and didn’t want too sticky it reminded me of something I use to do for scrapbooking. Put baby powder on the part of a sticker you do not want to stick. You stuck down part of sticker you want stuck to page. Then use a small paint brush or a small make up brush to apply baby powder to sticky part that you don’t want sticky. Keeps it from being a sticker.
How fun Gayle! So many simple ideas that can be whipped up while watching tv! I like all your little bags and holders for different ephemera, it's so organized!
I keep stamp cleaner in a small spritz bottle on a turn table near my workplace. Then I spritz and use baby wipes and it cleans the stamp and your fingers. I also keep a spritz bottle with Windex to clean my mat.
New subscriber getting comfy on the sofa (temporarily) while I watch your easy to follow, easy to watch tutorials for beginners like me. This is going to be FUN !! I have all (well most) of the things to start…so let the fun begin….I do need to watch a coffee dying tutorial. Mine come out flat (no personality)….🤎🤎🤎🤎. I’m learning… happy crafting in 2023 !!!
May I just say it is wonderful how you seem to know what I need to know to progress from being a craft hoarder 😏🤪 to an active crafter. My husband and kids thank you, but most of all I say a huge thank you. I especially love the “ how to get started making a journal tutorial . Thanks.
thank you for taking the time to post a video every morning.....I can't imagine the time and work involved in creating these. Thats not even counting the actual crafting! You are so inspiring, and I look forward to your "play time", hints, tricks, and especially your stories and humor...
Newbies, oldies and inbetweenies this is brilliant for us all! Look at the viewing figure, wow, popular! The basics are all always fun to watch, although I would be thrilled if I could make these items half as nice! Got to keep on practicing.....it’s in the brain just got to root around and find it,( Cotton wool, candy floss, marshmallows, where’s the crafting gene??!!). TFS as always. 😻xx
I find your videos so helpful. I'm a new subscriber and also new to the world of journaling. I don't feel so confused now that I've been binge watching all your videos lol thank you so much for taking the time to share !
Yes, very helpful to this “Newbie”! I am having so much FUN learning from you and collecting “stuff” for embellishments! I need to get busy and create some ephemera. I truly appreciate your efforts to teach and encourage. I have started my first “altered book” thanks to you. My theme is, “The Wizard of Oz”. Thanks again ❤️
You are so organized and I love it! Your videos are the highlight of my days! I need to find time to start making all these beauties.💕thank you for sharing your time and talents!!
hi gayle, helpful and fun? yes and yes! you really do explain things well. with all the journals i've made over the years i have never done either of these-that's gonna change! thank you so much for sharing and showing your ideas and how you go about decorating. love the wax seal (even if it was a bit of a glue challenge) your the best 💗👍😊
New things to make, will be doing them today. I am going to try printing on muslin too. Since it’s so hot here on the East Coast, I can coffee/dye papers and leave them in the garage to dry. Did a test on them and they came out nice.
Case in point….pausing at 19:50 to see what’s in your bag of tricks…..I love your organization - please if you have one, a studio tour so I can be better prepared (as you are) 🤗🤗🤗
I have a playlist called Craft Room Tours. I’ve recently rearranged my craft room to make it work better for me and I love it! So there is a recent video of the transformation and a video of “within arms reach” of my filming area that might be helpful too. I hope you enjoy them! ❤
Been on vacation so have a lot to catch up on . Love the many ideas you share with us and I will watch them all, but right now it's off to the gym , have some food to work off ...lol !!
I am a really newbie working on my first ever junk journal, but been paper crafting in others ways for years. Lots of inspiration from watching this video and many of your other ones as well. Thanks for great videos!
Sooooo enjoyed all these little flips and flaps! The pockets are great also. You always make me want to craft and make me feel I can do it! Thanks for all,the inspiration 💕
I always love my aHaaa moments with Gayle! Today it was that when you make pockets, etc, to go on the opposite sides of the same folio/folded piece of paper in a signature, YOU DON'T HAVE TO MAKE AS MANY DECISIONS! LOL!. I have watched you do this over and over and over again but never connected that decision thing until today! It also makes the whole thing look coordinated and more pleasant, but it is that decision making that I need! Too many decisions and I just stall out altogether!
I keep forgetting that tuck spot. And I have to say something that has been bothering me. You can delete this if you want but why do people give a thumbs down? The people that make these videos are taking their time to do this for us and share. I for one am very VERY grateful they do that for us. Gayle, you will always get a thumbs up from me no matter what you do🤗🤗 I love your videos👍
You always do such a good job teaching us! You are especially good at helping the newbies with good ideas. I even pick up things along the way. You should think about doing some teachable classes. Like you don’t have enough to do! 😁 Maybe something to think about for winter when your stuck inside?!
Hi Gayle, I just made a pocket almost like this one. My girlfriend Madi Azar from Spectrum Art is finishing up her 12 different pockets on RUclips. You both kill it on pockets. Awesome
A junk journaling retreat ???? What FUN !!
Love the archives!! As I am such a newbie!! LOL!! A great tutorial, Gayle!!! Thank you!❤
