You are an absolute Godsend! I was just thinking today about printing my own books and how I believe that it would be so much more economical. And here it is I come on RUclips and you are here! You are here explaining the easy way to do it now as opposed to the old school way that I knew how to do it. I'm talking about sewing it and all that old school stuff! I greatly appreciate you!🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
First off, your cover design is adorable! Thank you for making this video. it is very interesting to see the whole process and that you can use relatively low-cost tools to make a professional looking final product.
New children's book author here-just subscribed to your channel and I will be taking notes to learn more. It came become overwhelming but I'm going to stick with it. Thanks for nuggets-blessings
Thank you for creating this excellent content and congratulations on your books! New subscriber here. This is exactly what I needed! Have been collecting family history from my father. The system we are using MyHeritage (you might want to see if they will sponsor you) has an option to create books BUT in order to transform them into something more than notebook pages I needed what you have given me here! I will be using what you have taught me to create gorgeous family history books. Thinking I will do them in smaller family books. I am so excited! Please check into getting them to sponsor you. You have no idea how much this helps and keeps costs down while creating family legacies! Thank you again! Be safe!
I am SO IMPRESSED!!! I’ve been in the book industry a long time and transitioned to eBooks. It never occurred to me to make my own books! Your book is visually lovely and your instructions are clean and simple. I am not certain I would go thru the effort to physically make my own books, but your video has inspired me to at least leave the option open and consider it if I ever want to do an origami book - which usually has pockets of paper in the back.
Wow! I'm so impressed! I have been searching for an efficient way to bind our books for soooooo long. You really shared this entire tutorial process with us and i am forever grateful with all the links. May your blessings be so big that you will not be able to contain them. God bless you sister 🙏🏾
Creating books in the format that’s works for your goal makes the process worthwhile. The process might be therapeutic. I’ve made books with the sewn in binding had no idea this method was available always a pleasure learning from your creative process. Thank you and have a beautiful week
much love and aloha sister, how fantastic you are and the knowledge you give is outstanding, a humble thank you for all you give to the world. I am right about to write my first book, very exciting times, I was under the impression I had to send it off to get printed and you just saved me I am sure, thousands of dollars. Glorious sister so much love, congratulations on all of your success.
So I’ve been wanting to make a coloring book now for a while. I have a PIXMA Pro 200 and it’s been sitting here so after watching this video, I’m most definitely going to start the process. I really appreciate your video. It’s giving me a lot of insight. Thank you.❤
This is by far the best, most well-made video I’ve ever watched. The way you explained each and every step and shared so much helpful information about your business is so appreciated. And I will be needing a copy of this book for sure! My mom sewed all of our clothes for me and my 3 sisters when we were growing up, and then sewed costumes for us and her grandchildren. One of my younger sisters is blessed with excellent sewing and embroidery skills . I have wanted to learn for so long and even have my mom’s sewing machine. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Okay I watched this video and I'm curious as to: 1) how much this costs per book (including machinery, pages, etc)--> your book and also the time to do a book (assuming you do several at once). I'm trying to assess POD vs something like this. Nonetheless, I LOVED this. This was absolutely delightful. I love that you literally handmake each book.
Congratulations, Angelina on your book! This is going to make an amazing Christmas gift for beginner sewers. Thank you for sharing how to print a book on a budget. Continued success to you, lady!
Beautiful book, love the cover. You put a lot of thought and love into this project. You are very clever. I plan on ordering this book, because this girl needs help with the sewing game. I think I make things seem more difficult than they are. Anyway, thank you for all you do and share.
this is amazing and thank you for the amazon list. i've been literally praying for a video on how to make a book and been so confused of the process all the videos are very old or very short. would you be open to doing another video showing how you do it in bulk and some more hacks and tips please
Great video. I’m saving this. I was making my own garden planners but wanted to start making my own books too because I’m writing one and I’m in another country. This is great.
Fantastic work and professional tutorial. Love how you have the equipment to make your final product look like its straight out of a printing factory. Keep up the great work

Thank you for the detail on self printing a book. Looks very intense. Wonderful project and Congratulations on this labor of love. Everyone with a little girl, student, niece, cousin should purchase this book. Sewing is really fun, even for the guys.

Ma'am, thank you so much. I was trying to find suppliers in China to print my book but they were charging me a fortune to do it in bulk. Now I can do it myself 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I definitely want to get your book. I’m mentor girls age 11 to 16 and Sewing and I think it would be a good reference to use along with the materials I have.
wow I'm so grateful I found you, I created a coloring book and launching it to amazon next week but would have loved to make them instead of using another company- I wanted them perforated and of higher quality than your usual kdp materials. In the future ill do this instead. I appreciate you sharing
Do you have a video of making off your book? I also want to make a reverse coloring book on Amazon and want to use good quality watercolor paper. Thanks Maria
@ I don’t - for now I have to use Amazon KDP but after watching this video I looked up the materials to see if I can make my own. It’s doable but not in my budget. Hopefully in the future I can make them like @blueprintDiy 💝 hope your coloring book turns out beautiful and you can make yours. I looked into types of paper for coloring and there’s so many based of the type of medium so that’s something to keep in mind 💪🏼🥰 good luck 🍀
I know a lot of people want perfect bound traditional book but you could save a ton of money and start an easier trend with the spiral or twin loop coil binding and one of those perforator machines. Then print it out, punch the holes, loop it, done. Same way the journals are made, and have the coloring pages perforated. It would lay flat, you can use whatever thicker paper you want, and toss it when they're all torn out or finished...and for your own use, reuse the coils. It's custom and tradition that perfect bound is popular, and associated with a "real" book...but the spiral or twin loop books are way more efficient and cheaper to produce. Even if you wrote a novel and bound it that way. It's different, of course, but so are ebooks.
Is there anything you can’t do?! Good for you. Thanks for sharing. Im leaving now…. Before I am hooked! Ugh, thats why I close my eyes when I see anything Circuit related. lol.
If its ok to ask the amount of paper you used to make the book from and how many books were you able to make total from the pack if it’s not asking to much.. Thank you this was a very good and useful video. GN😊
I actually just seen you used the Matte paper pack of 50 in the description sorry So I guess I just would like to know how many books you printed out one pack Thanks Again 😊
and just a tip.. HP printing has an ink program where they will automatically send you ink when your printer is low.. you will never run out.. i only pay $7 per month... all the ink you need.. and its exact.. you will print your last page and have ink at your door the same day.. :)
Just know that you don't own the cartridges. If you cancel your subscription you have to buy regular cartridges. Once your subscription stops the printer stops printing even if there's still ink in the cartridges.
I miss the days of up-cycling so much now that it looks like big fashion is mimicking the up-cycled look. If you start doing projects again, I would love that. The book looks very helpful - good luck with it!
