- It's official, The White Lotus Season 3 is coming to Thailand in 2025. Join me as we take our first look at the new season and what we know so far. I love this so much. I was married to someone from Thailand for 34 years and he just passed away last month. I wish he could be here to see this, but I will definitely be watching it. I will be going there next year to spend time with his family. 💕🥰

I DISAGREE ! My theory is that Belinda inherited tonyas fortune and Belinda’s story line is centered on how wealth starts to make her into something inauthentic and we find parallels to tonyas former character
How would she do that?
Meh that’s not very realistic as I’m sure she has family that would inherit. Plus last season Portia was the parallel character to Tonya, we don’t really need to see it again.
They can do a season from the past as Jennifer’s character said in season two that she has been to multiple White Lotuses in the past.

Re: FS Koh Samui - there are villas available for less then $1,000 USD per night. We stayed for a week and every villa has a tremendous view of the Gulf of Thailand.

Mannn, I was fat belly pregnant when I watched the scene where Tanya dies & I cried laughing. Almost peed myself in the bed, I couldn’t stop laughing!😂 Tragic, but she had one job & only Tanya could eff it up in that manner. RIP to a good character. Cannot WAIT for this new season!💗

Parker Posey is the only new cast member that I'm excited about. Okay... honestly... she might be the only one I even know. 😂 (I feel old). And yes I've heard of Patrick Schwarzenegger, but that's just from tabloids and who his father is. Anyway, of course it's gonna be great because Mike White, who I also know, and have been a fan of for many years, is the goat of all goats. Can't wait!

The HBO CEO confirmed it will likely premiere, for Emmy eligibility, in the first half of 2025. I think all eps would need to premiere by May 31 to qualify, which means the season could start as early as March.
Good old times when we didn't have to wait multiple years between seasons.

Ok, there might be too many people on this cast. They might just get 3 to 5 mins of total series screen time each on average if everyone has a speaking part.
This season is supposed to be longer so more episodes means hopefully everyone will get a decent amount of screen time 😊
I think if you were to list the entire cast of season 2, it'd be about the same amount. There's guests, staff, locals, and that group of bad guys.

Why do we need one?
I heard it was filmed in Phuket rather than Koh Samui.
I believe some of the characters visit Phuket, and stay at least overnight. So both locations will feature.

I really liked season 1, I didn’t particularly like season 2. I thought the whole thing spent too much on the two young couples (the ones with Aubrey plaza, Theo James etc), which I didn’t care for and the whole show was too overtly sexual - even by HBO standards. The only storyline I kinda liked was the grandfather, father, son combo but I felt that was overshadowed for the whole prostitution plot line. I think white lotus is at its strongest with family dynamics rather than relationship, like in season 1 my favourites were the family with Connie and Steve Zahn. Also the cast for this season doesn’t seem as strong or recognisable to me
