Super cool definitely different, afterwords you could use liquid electrical tape on the outside that would cover up any gaps once it dries it shrinks tight just a thought
That is just clever dude, I like it. Yeah the liquid electrical tape I’ll round that outside edging once dried it will look natural won’t see the glue appreciate you sharing dude I’m still watching Friday morning 7:24 AM from the frozen state Manchester Michigan
Sweet mod Ken. I tried doing this a while ago but opted for the flysky g7p. Independent 4ws out of the box👍(the rear steer nob has a center and sits right at the tip of the thump)
I wonder if there's something out there the size of a guitar vol./tone pot or a wheel from a computer mouse that could be used so it could be installed near the natural position of ones thumb? !!!!! Edit: 5:56- There's two mini pots right there on the board! Maybe worth trying them! Just need a slightly bigger wheel glued on. DohickyX2....
what do you mean when you say it's not proportional? also... i'm now wondering... is there any reason you couldn't use this trick and put the reciver in a 10 scale... like an old capera or something? to make it 4ws? cheap controller and cheap reciver... seems like a cool little life hack...lol
Proportional means it’s got granularity to the steering. In this case, the steering is 100% left, center or 100% right. There is no in between or granularity in the steering. I suppose you could do it in any type of rig. But honestly, there are better transmitters out there for 4wheel steering that are cheap. I just did this because I could and I wanted to keep the truck I was using it in “on stuck electronics”
Mind blown, that's an awesome mod fella. Good work.
Glad you like it!!! Hope i earned your sub!
Double Doohickey I love it dude, will catch you on the next one until then peace and chicken grease 😁👍👍😎
💪🔥👊
Killer execution- This got me excited to try this!
Thanks for all the beta !
Hahha thanks dude!
Kool Thing RC did something similar on a gt5 that I ended up doing to add this feature. it's awesome in practical use :D
Nice!! Yeah, even still just being a 3 position, it feels very proportional. Fun to drive for sure.
That just gave me so so many ideas!! Lol nice video brother
Glad to hear it! I hope we earned your sub!!!

Ok, that is cool!
Fun too!!

Yep. We have a noble and noble pro that does rear steer well. We just thought this would be fun to show.
@The Shop - Mini RC Is there any way you could figure out how ro do this with the V2 ESC? I might actually consider this if you can do that. Lol
@@the_car_guy5915 it is likely the exact same process. Just connect a second wheel to the channel 3.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
💪🔥👊
Very cool double doohickie givin me iders lol
Lmao! Thanks a bunch for watchin!
Double Doohickey 4 Yo LYFE
I see you’re down for the cause!!

@@ChrisMatthewsKF7WRS hahaha thanks!! I’ve already seen a few other do the double doohickey.
I watched the full double dohicky video for sure.
Wondering if you did this with the AX24 would it be proportional?
The way the ax24 remote works is different. I am not sure if you could even do it on that one.
Cool video. Just curious, why do you speed up your playback?
To save you time.
Nice mod ken 🔥🔥😎👍
Thank you good sir!

DohickyX2....
Hmmm. Maybe.
This sounds more normal at .75x playback speed LMAO
It is. ;) we speed up our videos to save everyone time.
Double Doohickey!
The most doubled doohickey ever! Thanks a ton for watching.
Nice I wish I had another radio although I never solderd on a board ..I have ton of mini t 2in1 , any good ideas to use them , seems like such a waste
Double trouble 😆
You can use the 2n1s in crawlers or go fast mud and rock bouncers with some smaller brushed motors.

obviously it wouldn't be any good if you wanted to run a high voltage servo... ....but if not it should work no?
