Yes!!!!!!!! This just saved me sooo much trouble and money. My son loves pushing buttons and inadvertently turned the throttle dual rate all the way down it wouldn’t move except for trim. I thought he dropped the remote and was broke! Just had to re adjust!!! Sweet!!!

Channel 2 dual rate for throttle. I could not figure out why the throttle stopped working on our new truck. My 3 year-old somehow found the secret setting, and turned it all the way down. I followed your instructions at the 8 minute mark and it's working now :) Thanks for posting this video. I doubt the guy at the hobby shop would have figured this one out. I thought a hobby class RC would be better than a toy... maybe not in this case. haha
Dual rate trims were off, I had no throttle by steering was fine. I could get the tires to turn with the trim, but not the throttle. Every other video said, esc or motor yet I knew it wasn’t yet didn’t know how to fix it. You saved me. Thanks

So I see an issue and my mind just grinds away at it. Being and welded steel sculptor/ fab'er, with years making most of his tools and bending and building jigs helps. As well as ADHD....... 🤣🤣🤣 Use to sit around the coffee shop and chew on bicycle designs, furniture designs, house designs, etc. for hours with friends, hence our saying 'coffee shop engineering' . Make a good T-Shirt. LOL! It's why I love the good corners of YT. People can efficiently help each other from far flung places and save them all the trial and error grief, expense, etc.

Horymory was this handy! The settings got so outta whack some how that the steering servo has this permanent twitch to it. Got it back to somewhat decent, but think its ruined, at least now I can drive it without it doing what it wants. Thanks for this vid.
I really wish I had found this video a month or two ago. I had been trying to do a servo limiter and eventually abandoned the idea because the travel was always either too much or had a tendency to mislatch due to changes made to prevent it from moving too far. And the ability to adjust crawl speed on the V2 almost has me wishing I hadn't changed my JLU over to the AX24's t/r when I made it 4ws. at least I know now for whatever rig inherits the v2 electronics
Dual rate. I have the flashing lights on Ch. 3 and for some reason they stay on and don't want to change from off to strobe anymore...any suggestions? Very informative video BTW!
@TheShopMiniRC Dual rate, haha. I found out you can adjust the light settings with the dual rate as well. I must've messed it up, but I figured it out. Appreciate the reply very much tho!
Thank you for this! I replaced the motor with a Samix and lowering max throttle helped reign it in. In messing with the transmitter, I think I disabled steering. The servo and ESC still work with another transmitter. I'm wondering if I broke it.

Hello, so my scx24 bronco went crazy and started going forward by itself and steering is jerking regardless of adjusting the dual rates, after changing transmitter batteries and rebinding everything was fine again, but my reverse is now super sensitive and doesnt have as good of a slow crawl modulation as going forward. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this? So far i have tried to adjust the throttle trim as foward as i can go to point that the truck doesnt move on it own, but its still quite jerky in reverse.
Very odd that it worked fine before the batteries got low and then once you changed them, it no longer ran the same. I wonder if you just need to adjust the trim and dual rate more or if you might have messed up the motor some how. It’s hard to diagnose the issue without seeing it first hand.
Thanks for the reply, still appreciated even though I already had the transmitter replaced under warranty as it was claimed defected as some other had experienced the same glitch too, I was just curious since replacing the batteries and rebinding fixed the first glitch for me maybe the new issue with reverse is not irreparable after all, but doesn't seem so. that's a new one.. hmm I am not sure if you can adjust the dual rate of only the reverse on a stock ESC. I know you can adjust that in an aftermarket ESC.
Total aside - maybe... I have a a V2 transformer and the center LED labeled as "G.LED" flashes steadily. I looked at the manual and it was worthless re info. My other V2 only flashes when making settings. On the one that's flashing I can't use the center lED properly for finding centers, etc. Any insights as to "why" would be awesome! Thanks you.

Can the servo be centered while in beginner mode? I read that the G.Led will blink if in beginner mode. I upgraded my servo and I can’t center it. My tires keep spinning on their own with no throttle…how do I fix that?
Tires spinning on their own means either your throttle trim needs adjusted or that you should try completely rebinding your transmitter. You should also be able to center your servo at any time. Just be sure you are not set to the other channels like I showed in the video.
Hey bro my scx24 v2 lights were working fine i cud put them on n take them off with the 3 position switch but suddenly it stop working n the lights stay on all the time.. its pluged into the HEAD on the esc i tried pluging it into ch3 n 4 but still doesnt work can u help me plz..
If you have them plugged into the head, try turning the plug around. Should be plugged into the top 2 pins with the black wires on top and red on bottom.

@@TheShopMiniRC I was told "You can reset everything by just rebinding the controller, turn everything off. Press and hold bind button while turning on controller, then turn on the car and it will find the car and reset everything." Edit: this was after I asked you bytheway.

YES! My 3 year-old did the same exact thing. Like you, I knew it wasn't a bad motor because the trim would make the wheels move.

It will be better as your 3yo learns. You just might have to make some repairs. ;)

Sorry you might have fried it. You can sometimes still use it as a rx only and upgrade to brushless.

there is a jumper tab on the esc. Make sure you put it on the correct pins (its the top 2 pins)

I think it depends on the release version truck you got. Your manual might actually not have it.

Unfortunately, I don’t know. Just remember there is a long beep to signify center/zero
@@TheShopMiniRC I was told "You can reset everything by just rebinding the controller, turn everything off. Press and hold bind button while turning on controller, then turn on the car and it will find the car and reset everything."
Edit: this was after I asked you bytheway.
@@hogswaddle good to know. I wasn’t sure if it would actually reset all settings or not.
