Wow I always kept my throttle rate in the middle!! I'm going to turn it up tomorrow and see how my Typhon 3s performs. I've only been in the hobby a few months. Thanks for the info!!
I adjust throttle DR all the time in the field cause it's the fastest way to stop a trigger happy finger from too many wheelies, when I have a bit more time I might adjust the EXPO. Awesome stuff !!
I find it very valuable to find a radio in which you can adjust the dual rates without removing your hands from the wheel and trigger, the Flysky G7P you can set up with several left thumb controls for this purpose if you want
Dual rate adjusts the end points but together and it affects the power curve as well. EPA can adjust individually for each side but I don’t think it affects the power curve. I could be a little off on the power curve part. With dual rate, on the throttle side, slows the vehicle as you turn it down and lightens the brakes at the same time (power curve). EPA sets the stopping point for the servo.
How do I find the sweet spot in throttle trim. All the way up rc runs away. All the way down in runs in reverse. I'm new to rc and it run away under my car during testing 😂 FTX Ramraider 🇬🇧
@Street Supreme RC By setting it about 20% or 80% what's the difference. Are breaks harder at 20% and less at 80%. Does 20% effect top speed. I don't completely understand the point of it. Why does it 100% make it run away.
The 50/75/100% switch is not needed because of the "duel rate"? Now I have a typhon 6s that will do 70mph. So when I give my 12 year old son the controller I should use the "duel rate" to turn it down to 50% but also give him 50% less braking force? I prefer my son when he's learning to have 50% throttle with 100% braking force. That's what the switch is for. Don't become a driving instructor 🤣. Now we are only doing 50% of the speed limit today so I've removed 50% of your brake fluid and pedal travel 👍
Im new and this is by far the best channel for newbies thanks so much if it wasnt for people like you i would not be in this hobby

So informative as always, I learn so much from watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Simply the best AJ!
Always like your info as you can always take something away and inprove😊😊😊
YOU HAVE GREAT VIDEOS BUD 👍 NEW SUBSCRIBER!!!!!!!!!! 😁🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
I thought U can set end points to prevent servo binding ?
We do.
Could you do the Radiomaster MT12?
What’s the difference between dual rates & EPA?

That’s throttle trim think of it as cruise control end points are different
Depending on the car, I keep mine in the middle or a little towards forward, just enough so it won't "creep" forward.

@@chrisvda7277 you're adjusting trim, not DR. If you're using an RTR radio, it may not even have DR.
@Linh Nguyen I know I'm adjusting TRIM not Duel rate. But what is the purpose of trim. Does it affect top speed or breaks.
Cut off percent 🤔 what it's use for
And any part sensor avoid crush ....
Pretty much endpoint adjustment ??
Yes
😮 o...throttle speed percent switch
It limits the speed of the vehicle. Good for training someone new.
Bonnie view traxxas bluetooth link 😶maybe also have, don't know where have hiding has
Get a better radio then tweak your EPA then you can lock in your DR if you need
