10:16 Shoots explosives "Where did those explosives go?" He's doing it on purpose, isn't he?
-1 perception.
Jon not realising each level has a challenge that gives bonus points seems very much like a thing he would do
When people talk about perception being uncapped they usually mean the number goes up, not down
"...bullet hits a shovel, ricochets back towards number three, and that's when the roof caved in, igniting the thermos of pure grain alcohol, instantly vaporizing his bodily form, leaving nothing but a charcoal statue and a high pitched squeal. *Eeeeeeek..."*
*An appreciative exhalation from the rapt crowd. But then:*
"Ho--hold on there! That's only six. What happened to Number Seven?"
"Number Seven? Hell, he died of infection."
deep appreciation of this comment! rango is too underrated
You ain't got the nerve! Try me.
What if Superhot but you're Wizard Hawkeye is a hell of a premise, I'm sold.
That title reminds me of the fact that Jon never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
He’s actually said in a live stream he was good at cross country in school.
@@Mixxie67 Update the lore wiki.
Name of the video? Or name of the channel? ;)
Disclaimer: I couldnt even make it as a mathlete, let alone an athelete
I always saw the hitman games as puzzle games wearing a murder skin. This is a nice distillation of that with an interesting hook.
I do wonder sometimes if I like the videos or the video pun names more lol.
the answer is: Yes
I'm just still impressed that they've been puns on every video for like ten years!
The trend of Jon playing a game the following Wednesday to when Yahtzee played it continues for the third week in a row. Next Weds, probably Botany Manor.
I am shocked Jon has not done Botany Manor yet
Ah another RUclips channel had to look up if there was a RUclipsr called that Yahtzee live that dice game
@@SkyWolfPirate It could be like on Twitch where a goldfish plays a game, but instead it is based on where 5 dice roll on the screen!
@@Dead-EyeJuncan well since I don’t have twitch let’s not? Goldfish? What are you even saying
@@SkyWolfPirate Someone has set up a camera pointing at their goldfish and depending on where it is positioned on the screen corresponds to pressing a button on a controller. They completed a Pokémon game this way!
Good sir… I hope you are paying attention to Manor Lords 😊
Gunpowder Mages are cool, first discovered em reading The Powder Mage Trilogy. This game is like a mix of like, Killer7 and Sniper Elite
is it really gunpowder magic if its specifically the bullet channeling your magical BS? more like 'bullet-mancy' though it ought to work with rockets and arrows too... hmm.
@@Edge-wx7hv True, maybe some sort of....bullamancy? But yeah, overall we need more gunpowder mages
@@chrisdiokno5600 truly an under-explored branch of magic
@@Edge-wx7hv I have thought of making a game with this concept, though I can't art for shit
I googled it and it seems the person who wrote the trilogy was a student of Brandon Sanderson! and he also recommends the books, so for sure I'll check those books out, thanks for the recommendation!
I love the idea of this game. This ability to control the bullet after it's been fired reminds me of an anime character, I think from the anime Fire Force.
Takehisa Hinawa. He can control the power and trajectory of bullets through pyrokinesis.
@@murri7329 Yes! That's the character. Thank you.
Or that really bad movie Wanted.
@@XDieKillDieX I have only seen clips of it but yes! I had completely forgotten about that film.
This is what "Wanted 2" the video game should be.
One of your best names yet
So it's a puzzle game where you play as Der Freischutz.
This is like if the Hitman sniper missions got turned up to 11. I dig it. Too bad it's not out on any console atm :/
I like the look of this!
This game is amazing.
Hell yeah!!
immediate like from your intro.
So you are Deadshot.
I pray jon never uses his murderous puzzle solving skills for evil. Who watches the watchers?
Wish the game had a medal system and not a global score system, as the amount of cheaters ruins the fun
Holy fuck!! By any chance, is that a reference to the 5th part of the hit manga known as J-
Wondered before watching if the game was based on the song of the same name by Billy Thorpe. And... nope. No connection whatsoever, unless you count the protagonist seeming to have vaguely long-ish hair.
Rondo: the game
Fallout ps5 today!
finally playable?
I enjoyed the game but fuck me is the music in this game aggressively terrible.
Looks longingly for the next episode of Fallout 4 Sim Settlements 2
Looks like an interesting gun-mage puzzle game, but I really hate the way the character runs / holds their gun while running. Like resting it across the back of their head and having their hand near their ear? Nothing about that looks remotely natural.
What a dumb thing to care about.
@@donovanfaust3227 Cry more kiddo.
In this game you basically play as Johngalli A. from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Day 85 of requesting _Age of Mythology_ (a full playthrough if possible)
Today's book suggestion was something I couldn't pass up, _A Promise of Blood_ by Brian McClellan. It's a world with powder mages, just like this game... except instead of controlling bullets, these mages metabolize gunpowder to fuel their magic like if cocaine was explosive and let you move things with your mind. It's a setting full of military uprisings, revenge, families put to the sword, and politics.
Star Control date 0075!!
Nothing fancy here. Just a humble, earnest request for Jon to play Star Control 2; a game often lumped in with the greatest of all time and directly influential on some of Jon's favorite games of all time.
I maintain with extremely humble sincerity, that Star Control 2 is Jon's favorite game of all time, regardless of whether or not he knows it just yet.
TYVM and GB.
Having the word "Children" in this game is a little unsettling... 🏫
It's a common cult thing though.
Entry 504 of let’s make Jon fully play the original command and conquer
505 of the Tiberium request
506 of let’s make Jon play C&C 95
507 of let’s make Jon embrace Tiberium
508 of the let’s make Jon play C&C
509 of C&C LETS GOOO
Day 99/1230 of requesting Jon play a game nobody will remember, like Majesty: A Fantasy Kingdom Sim.
How many people were reminded of Rage Against The Machine upon seeing this game?
day 11 of requesting Jon play Okami HD
i play plenty of games that treat violence and murder very casually but something about this game takes it up to a level that makes me sick.
This game is too ludicrous for my sensibilities. Ricocheting off a *bird*? It’s a very weak premise that’s clearly just an excuse for violent puzzle game.
Okay? What's wrong with that?
It's not just a ricochet, you can do that "ricochet" off of thin air if you've hit two people's weak points in a row. It's just part of the game's attempts to give you ways to move around the world.
Children of the sun, dying one by one.
I wonder if the Devs like Judas Priest.
I hate to use the word pretentious, but this game is pretentious at hell. Not since Spec Ops have I seen a game be that far up it's own ass. And not being able to rebind controls so the aiming is separate from the movement killed it for me.
It seems like a fairly straightforward puzzle game with not much else to say. Are you sure you know what the word pretentious means?
It’s just plain silly.
@@SpeakShibbolethno they obviously don't
I can totally see how the dramatic over-styled design isn't for everyone, but pretentious?
