can anyone tell me how to cross chain? it rarely prompts and whenever it does. the moment i warp strike the enemy. the enemy dies. i have removed all accessories that buffs strength and im using the weakest weapons in the game as i've maxed my levels. thanks
As said in the description, put the enemy in a vulnerable state and then warp-strike them. Then press the corresponding attack button once it appears. You may be too powerful to do it to most enemies now, which is why they're dying to quickly
@walter miller I know the mechanics of the cross chain. ive done it. the problem is it rarely prompts me. ive literally put dozens of enemies to a vulnerable state. it does not prompt. ive gone to high level dungeons (costlemark). it does not prompt. the current timed quest now where you fight coeurls and elder coeurls. it wont prompt still. so this is why im saying that this mechanics for this cross chain is glitchy.
i finally did it man. the easiest way is to just wait for those magitek ships. let gladio or the others fight it out until the cross chain prompts. just make sure to equip the weakest weapons. XD
Need to complete the Cross Chain sequence, which is 10 hits as seen in the video. Wait for the circle to show the button prompt. Need to perform a full 10 hit cross chain 10 times.
Hello, i were able to perform the cross chain correctly a couple of time, but the trophy never pop up... Do you know there is a bug or a glitch ? Thanks in advance
@@BlakeTheEmperor99 So I’m 3 years late, but just in case someone is reading this with the same issue, I think I have the solution. So, whenever the cross chain is activated, most of us tend to press the attack button too soon and move on to the next stage of the cross chain. However, what you should do is wait for the animation to play out completely (but of course don’t let the cross chain timer run out). Sometimes Prompto will suddenly run on screen to shoot the enemy a few seconds after Noct and whoever is with him have already hit the enemy, thus making it look like the animation over when it’s actually not. In short, the best way to do it is to press attack at the last second before the timer runs out, that way every scene is completed fully. Not entirely sure if that’ll fix the problem, but I know it did for me.
When you knock an enemy down, it will often say "warp strike to trigger Cross Chain" or something along those lines. As long as your warp strike doesn't kill the enemy, it will usually start it up.
I can not for the life of me get this ability to work. Have run through multiple RUclips tutorials as well as the in game tutorial. It's just not working
After downing an enemy sometimes a strategy time appears in the top (let's says "warp strike to initiate cross chain"), if it doesn't appear you just can't do it.
@@roycastillo8620 the party just need to be alive (I never hear they needs to be playable so I need a bit of correction here). Iirc cross chain was patched in before the royal edition was a thing.
@@panduvandal so I figured out because I recently play my second playthrough, and normally I do it after the chapter 4 or 5, but this time I upgraded the abilitys and now I can do it, I'm on chapter 2

how do u trigger cross chain
When you knock an enemy down, it will often say "warp strike to trigger Cross Chain" or something along those lines. As long as your warp strike doesn't kill the enemy, it will usually start it up.
It rarely ever works. Even when you get the prompt and warpstrike a downed enemy, there's a like 90% chance it'll just do nothing...
Also your allies need to be alive
