I commented on the Chokehold reaction that is crazy that I just thought about how you would love sleep token YESTERDAY and here we are today.
As for sleep token, they're a masked collective formed by 4 members: Vessel (vocals), II (two in roman numerals - drums), III (bass) and IV (guitar).
Out of all the members, Vessel is the songwriter for vocals, lyrics and all instruments in the studio except drums where the absolute beast of a drummer, II comes in. III and IV seem to not have a role in the studio but are essential for the live performances.
Vessel also had some role in producing their last album "Take me back to Eden" that dropped this year in May.
Their lore is that an ancient deity called "Sleep" appeared in Vessel's dream and promised him fame and glory if he spreads Sleep's word to the world, hence their songs are all tokens to sleep.
They are even better live, an absolute amazing experience and I'm happy that I'll see them at Wembley Arena in a week time (which they sold out in 10 min).
We don't listen to Sleep Token, we experience Sleep Token. Keep the ST reacts coming bro! Worship.

With what I know of your admiration of Twenty One Pilots and their lyricism and genre blending of music that Sleep Token will be a welcomed addition to your channel. You simply cannot go wrong with anything they put out. Their whole newest album is straight FIRE. Period. Case closed. Can't wait to see you react to many, many more of their songs!
Vessel is a genius lyrically and vocally. In all my nearly 58 years in this world, very few vocalists have given me a visceral reaction like him. I hope you keep going with Sleep Token even if it's not for reactions you won't regret diving in.

Brilliance, that's what it is! There are layers and layers of it in every song, the sounds as well as the lyrics. Love Sleep Token and your reactions, thank you, Fil! Can you imagine there are people who hear this and go 'eh. nothing special.' ???? It boggles my mind.
All of Sleep Tokens songs are basically this good it's crazy. They went a bit unnoticed for a while but when the new album dropped they went from 200k listeners on spotify to nearly 3mil in the matter of months lol. It was crazy to watch them blow up.
Felt I'm so happy they're getting the love they deserve. I heard them wayy back then when Sundowning came out, The Offering will forever remain my fav song by them.

You’ll probably hear this from lots of Sleep Token fans, but now that you see their talents and see they are worth investing in go back to the beginning. The Album this is off of Take Me Back to Eden is a culmination of what has been building since their 1st album Sundowning. Start at Sundowning and push play….They have supplanted Almost all very artist on my altime list, they are that great. Lyrics, song structure, drumming, atmosphere… top tier. Enjoy the Journey! This group is, similar to Twenty One Pilots, 100% one that you owe it to yourself to listen/react to everything they've ever touched. The EPs, the covers from other artists, their album trilogy, live performances, etc are all incredible and I can't even bring myself to be embarrassed that I've hardy listened to any other artist since like April when I first heard them. I have yet to hear a sleep token track i didnt love. Every single one is different and equally as beautiful and each serve a different purpose and mood. Ive never been obsessed with anything like i am this band. Vessel is a genius 🖤🙌 worship

The chords under "Why are you never real" are absolutely devastating and darkly perfect. Gets me in the feels every time. You will throughly enjoy their entire discography! Welcome to the new form of music that is forming. Where genre is more of a suggestion then a mold.
You should listen to their song Granite, it might be the best song on the album. It's short tho, maybe do a double reaction to Granite and Aqua Regia? Vessel is a great story teller, and you will notice recurring themes in their songs. He's clearly been working through some shit.
