Rain and The Apparition are the sleeper hits on this album. Like, Ascensionism and Take Me Back are huge cinematic stretches. Those 2 songs are short, Moody, and poignant.

I love how music can be interpreted in so many different way! I think when Vessel says hijack heaven, he is describing what it is like to have your happiness taken over by the bad experiences of his past. Like when he is in a good headspace, having peace from the everyday struggles, the negative memories flood in and ruin his high. So his heaven is being hijacked by his past.

My humble interpretation of hijack heaven with another memory is... To take another way or chance to create an event which doesn't belong to a current present in order to enjoy it for a last time. Heaven (dimensionally speaking) holds the access to past or future that doesn't exist in our 3d dimensional existence. There's a lot, there's a lot with them guys. The Apparition is the most slept on track on the album. that trap beat is killer. and the lyrics are just smooth af .

I believe this song is about a lost loved one who visits him every night and in his dreams where they hijack heaven together to make new memories. He's afraid to let her go and he wishes he could take back some of the things he did to her in the past. When he mentions the suicide frenzy its kind of like coming back to reality and realizing the loved ones that he has lost due to suicide including her.
Her being the sleep deity or I also heard he lost a daughter... Lot to unpack here lol

What i think vessel is trying to say with "hijack heaven with another memory" is that Sleep only appears to him in dreams. Hence why "why are you never real." In ascensionism he mentions three eyes. The last one being the third eye, showing how spiritual he is. In the spiritual world you can change memories to the point where you can see the changes of it in your reality. So i think what he's trying to say is that bes trying to change his memories of sleep so they can be altered in his life too

What I've heard and how I'm interpreting this song is Vessel (the singer), dreaming\having a nightmare about a past lover who ended their own life (wake up to a suicide frenzy) and him using this nightmare, even though it hurts to remember that past lover (hijack heaven with another memory now). But your interpretations are amazing, applying the lyrics to life and letting it help you grow!
And really... I feel like thats the main reason he's writing this gold. Ascension

You’ll see why and it will make Euclid all that more special! 🙌🏻
Before you play Euclid, you should listen to The Night Does Not Belong To God, the 1st track from their 1st album Sundowning. It marks the Beginning of their trilogy to the end being the last track from Take Me Back To Eden and it ties together so good.

To hijack heaven with another memory means he wants to play the dream where this person and him are together again so they can make trouble in the dream world. Or thats at least what i get from it. Ive had dreamed where i try to get myself back into the dream after i woke up.

Alot of people believe that most of his songs are about the sleep godess but that isn’t true. In vessels only interview that he has done which was in 2017 and through emails, vessel himself refers to it as the God of sleep and several times throughout refers to it as a he, never godess and never she.
Just head this not too long ago too! Low key I really kinda hope it's not, bc that would mean its aabout mroe real life situations he's gone through... But not that the other way is better or worse... They would both be great stories and amazing works of art!
Does it ever cross either of yall minds that , even though he uses words connected to the Bible, he’s using them as a metaphor? If I say I am fighting my demons, are you thinking I am actually fighting horned beasts? It’s a metaphor. It is a movie.All the music fits together, whole story. Call backs in everything. From the Ep's all the way to the end with Euclid. People arguing about what genre and its a whole movie score.
As for Hijack Heaven, IMO he's getting what he wants but his life keeps getting interrupted by thoughts of the past.
Limerence plays into a lot of the music. Desperately wanting something or someone you can't have, but they keep playing with you. Even your mind is playing with you for them. 🫶
