Here is a bit of news in regards to a possible new Sleep Token album. In the UK there is a huge 3 day music festival called Download. Next year's lineup has recently been announced, and Sleep Token has been announced as a headline act for one of the days. The other two are Korn and Green Day. Andy Copping, who runs Download and is also a Director at Future History Management ( Sleep Token are represented by Future History Management), recently gave an interview on his decision to book Sleep Token as a headliner and stated that Sleep Token will have a new album out before they headline Download. Download takes place in June. Great reaction. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

Great reaction! Welcome back. I know you are associating "her" or "she" as a significant other/female. And music is subjective and the way Vessle writes makes it sound like a love affliction. I'll say again though, I believe "she" is death/sleep. I believe this song is just his acknowledgement that he is beyond saving and that he absolutely wishes to be with "her". But he is broken into fractions (split personalities fighting each other). He's driven to distractions (trying to cope or trying to escape, unsure or it's both lol). With each and every interaction (where he attempts to be with death/sleep). Regardless, it's to late for him to be saved from this obsession.

I had to read a bunch of different opinions about these lyrics because they're so hard to decipher. I think I agree with those who think it sounds like it's about a car crash into water where he survived and his wife/girlfriend didn't, and now she's buried underwater and he feels guilty about it.
