This was late-1991, probably December. I remember this perfectly. LOL Though I had only seen this once prior, it happened to popped into my head last night and I got out of bed to search for it. I'm so glad it is on RUclips. I wish the new show would have lasted longer.
The best laugh I have had in a long time. "Captain so do I" smile is priceless and "Spock do that one more time". I have never been asked to do that for a coworker before.
Scotty was played by Meagen Fay. CBS brought back The Carol Burnett Show for another run in the fall of 1991; new regulars included Meagen Fay and Richard Kind (brought over from the NBC show), and Chris Barnes, Roger Kabler and Jessica Lundy. Only nine episodes of this revival were aired.
Wow, I was not expecting that! When Andrea and Carol started feeling each other up, man that was just too freaking funny! I love Star Trek TOS pardies and that one did not disappoint, thanks!
I loved the old Carol Burnett Show but don't remember seeing anything this elaborate. This is the funniest star trek spoof I've ever seen. And Captain Burnett saying "Did you see what she was wearing?" right after closing the comm channel was hysterical!!! As Bones was examining her, I completely thought s/he was going to say the captain was pregnant.
Thanks so much for the reply and info! I was not watching TV at all during that time (early 90's) and have been unaware of this revival ever since. Go figure!
Thanks SOO much for posting this! I lmao when it first came out and have always wanted to track it down to see it again. My goodness the wonders of youtube never cease to amaze me.
That's cast member Linda Wallem, whose character does have a more guttural but similar sounding voice to Paula's stage persona which is easily mistaken as I've seen elsewhere, and even sounds like Nelson from the Simpsons. It's not easy to tell the difference since all the uploads of this are blurry and low resolution.
I remember when Carol came back in '91. I was really psyched. What I liked was that she didn't toy with her product, her new show was basically like a "12th season" of her old show, nothing tinkered with. But times had changed, there were more TV and other media options, and less time to block a good Carol skit with more ads forced inbetween. Plus I gotta say when Carol's chin changed, it just took away some of her pathos and made her visual comic genius just a bit off.
Too funny! I had never seen this sketch before. I agree that it's most likely not from Carol's show. Andrea Martin is a riot. Anyone remember her as "Mooooooogie" on Deep Space Nine?
This IS from the revised CB show from the 90s. I remember watching this. This was by far the funniest sketch from that series. There was little wonder why the revised series didn't last so long.
@Avatar610 Yes, that's Richard Kind. This sketch is from "Carol & Company," a show Carol Burnett and a regular cast did on NBC and which didn't last nearly long enough. Richard Kind was one of the regulars. Terry Kiser was another.
The original Carol Burnett Show ran from 9/67 to 3/78. 278 episodes total. 4 new shows were aired from Aug. to Sept 1979 as Carol Burnett & Company. Between March 1990 & July 1991 a half hour show called Carol and Company was aired. Each week's show consisted of a different half hour comedy play. This obviously wasn't from the orginal show. Also this appears to be a sketch not a half hour play. That would mean it was one of the four episodes aired in 1979. So that would make it the70's.
This was great! So besides Carol as Capt Kirk, Andrea Martin as Spock and I think Paula Poundstone as McCoy, who were the rest of the cast members? Thanks for posting this!
Hilarious!! LMAO!! This skit is genius!! Never saw this before. When did this air?? The Uhura character was a great touch!! Is that "Prospect Place? Willy Lopez?" of Ghost? LOL!! That wig was perfect! Thanks for sharing!!
This is not from the original Carol Burnett show but in the late 80s in a comeback show. Notice Andrea Martin as Spock. Andre Martin was not that known during the run of Carol's original show so we know this is from a decade later.
Wow! This was quite a hoot to see, as it weds two long-time favorites of mine- Star Trek and the 'fabulous' Carol Burnett. But when was this made? Certainly not from her original variety show which ended in the late 70's. Great stuff!
Ah, from her 1991 show. That would explain her bad imitation of Kevin Pollock's imitation of William Shatner as Kirk. Also, the breast-fondling would probably have been too risque for her original show. :D

Carol Burnett is One of the Great KINGS OF COMEDY! This Episode proves it! What a great parody! Gone but never forgotten. Thanks for Posting.
Carol Burnett is so funny! I love her show already!
I never saw this one back in the day. I'm dying here. I cannot believe they were feeling eachother up like that. DYING!!
I love how everyone agrees! This is one of my favorite parodies.
"Spock would you do that one more time?" Lol spirk moment.
this is unbelievably great parody..
the last line is beyond priceless

Ahaha Spock and Kirk were feeling each other up! That was hilarious. Carol Burnette is the shit.
Genius. I can't believe it. I should watch more of this.
I loved the new Carol Burnett shows. She had a wondeful sketch as a kiddie show hostess.
Wow, I was not expecting that! When Andrea and Carol started feeling each other up, man that was just too freaking funny! I love Star Trek TOS pardies and that one did not disappoint, thanks!
I remember it was on Saturday night and it was called Carol & Company, the show featured some with Betty White as well as among others.
Carol kicked ass. Classic stuff. Killer set too.... LOL. Come get some Catspit~! ☠
Lol. OMG. I don't remember this one. My dad must have not let us watch this episode. Hahaha. I love it.
carol's impression of kirk is awesome!!!
The Uhura part is great.
"Damn it Jim! I'm a doctor not a....like I said, I'm a doctor! Come on, let's have a look"
Hilarious! One of the best parodies of Star Trek I've seen.

God, I love a good Star Trek parody!
I thought I had seen all the old parodies! I have never even heard of this let alone seen it! thank you for the wonderful share!
omg! that was hillarious! good ol' Carol always knew her way around a funny parody, lol!
OMG this was a total riot...Thank you for posting it...:)
Most comedy from this era doesn't do anything for me, but Carol is just a genius.
Brilliant! Hilarious! I nearly peed in my pants from laughing so hard!!
My favorite is Uhura...
My fav bit is that they all grab their tricorders as if they were purses to go to the bathroom.
Thanks so much for the reply and info! I was not watching TV at all during that time (early 90's) and have been unaware of this revival ever since. Go figure!
I did not know Carol Burnett did a Trek spoof! How funny! Carol Burnett doing Shatner is a riot!
Thanks SOO much for posting this! I lmao when it first came out and have always wanted to track it down to see it again. My goodness the wonders of youtube never cease to amaze me.
Priceless!
Absolutely Priceless!
That was just outstanding, one of the best parodies of ST EVER!
I have never seen this before. Excellent. Thanks for posting!!
OMG! I don't recall ever seeing this one! It's flippin' hilarious !!
This was hilarious!
God!! *tear* I nearly wet myself laughing. Wooooo!! I love McCoy! "Check out these puppies, Jim!" LOL!!
Can't miss that voice. That's Paula Poundstone playing Bones!
That's cast member Linda Wallem, whose character does have a more guttural but similar sounding voice to Paula's stage persona which is easily mistaken as I've seen elsewhere, and even sounds like Nelson from the Simpsons. OMG, FemSpirk !! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!
Hysterical!
Eee! So perfect! ^_^ I adore Carol Burnett. Thanks for uploading this!
"Spok would u do that one more time" haha!
"Did u c what she was wearing?!" lol!
OMG this is awesome i never knew she was on the Carol Burnette Show.
Excellent, thankin' y'all most kindly
I'm amazed this ever aired! The cesnors would have a field day. LOL
Classic!....Carol Burnett would have been a hell of a choise in a cameo on the next Star Trek movie. Hey! J,J,Abrahamm, take notice!.
Talk about where no man has gone before!
hahaha! I can't believe I've never seen this!
Thank you so much for posting this! I cannot believe I have never seen this before! Hilarious.
My gosh, I love Bones in this.
WOW! You could poke someones eye out with thoes!!
oh man this is hysterical why have i never seen this!
Carol Burnett and Andrea Martin together. What a treat!!
Best Star Trek parody EVER!
Where has this been? I never even knew it existed. Thanks for posting. Loved it.
I sure hope a clip from this sketch was played when Carol was on "Shatner's Raw Nerve", because then it'd be brought full-circle ;)
This is awesome. Thanks for posting.
Wow, I didn't know she had a 90's show. Funny woman!
LMFAO!!! hilaaaarious! "DO YOU HAVE TO DRIVE LIKE A MANIAC?!" and the KLINGON OMFG!!!

Best thing I have ever seen!
Too funny! I had never seen this sketch before. I agree that it's most likely not from Carol's show. Andrea Martin is a riot. Anyone remember her as "Mooooooogie" on Deep Space Nine?
Carol Burnett is the Queen of Comedy!
Funniest stuff ever!!!!! I love Carol Brunett ^^
How did I ever miss this?
This IS from the revised CB show from the 90s. I remember watching this. This was by far the funniest sketch from that series. There was little wonder why the revised series didn't last so long.
i love the carol burnett show
Wow. That's the late comedian (and heroin addict) Rick Aviles as Uhura. Never knew he did a Burnett show.
This is one of the funniest things I have seen. The breast part had me rolling...
I think this qualifies as "profoundly funny."
thats the funniest shit I have every seen. Must be because I've never seen this skit. As a big Trekie I must saw that was very clever!
was there a few seconds missing at the start?
That was the funniest thing I've ever seen!!
"did you se what she was wearing!!!!!! I thought I was gonna die!!!" I agreed.
@Avatar610 Yes, that's Richard Kind. This sketch is from "Carol & Company," a show Carol Burnett and a regular cast did on NBC and which didn't last nearly long enough. Richard Kind was one of the regulars. Terry Kiser was another.
This is so awesome!!! *laughs really hard* XD
LOL my fave is 1:17 "oh my gahahaaad"
THis is brilliant, I'm laughing so hard! McCoy really cracked me up for some reason XD
There's seems to be a bit missing at the beginning thogh :(
This is not the Carol Burnett show. This is Carol & Company - a series that ran in the 90's. Still funny!
I liked them picking up their tricorders to go to the ladies room.
The original Carol Burnett Show ran from 9/67 to 3/78. 278 episodes total. 4 new shows were aired from Aug. to Sept 1979 as Carol Burnett & Company. Could make more sense if the beginning of this sketch had been posted. Richard Kind is wonderful!
Did u see what she was wearing?!! haha i love the scotish one
ROTFLMMFAOOOOO@ Uhura!!!
"Spock, I have...breasts.." LOL
"you won't believe what i got!" XD
"this is what i was wearing the last time he attacked!"
lmao!
The one that played Spock. Also, Andrea began the role on Deep Space Nine of Quark and Rom's mother, "Moogie"
I recognize the Klingon commander from his role as Lucius on Stargate Atlantis.
They're so funny lmao :D
This is not from the original Carol Burnett show but in the late 80s in a comeback show. Notice Andrea Martin as Spock. Andre Martin was not that known during the run of Carol's original show so we know this is from a decade later.
Captain: an intergalactic cloud of bad hair day is approaching the chocolate cheese cake at an increasingly backstabby rate!
Wow! This was quite a hoot to see, as it weds two long-time favorites of mine- Star Trek and the 'fabulous' Carol Burnett. But when was this made? Certainly not from her original variety show which ended in the late 70's. Great stuff!

OMG! i about peed my pants!! LMAO!!
What's funny is, & I'm saying this as a Trekkie, this could have been the premise of a TOS episode, though probably season 3
Nice Star WARS alarm sound at 03:26
Incomplete! This is the whole sketch: ruclips.net/video/l-tAyQAS6JY/видео.html
Ha ha!
And still far more faithful than JJ Abram's version.
nice set , i meant the ST bridge.
