I know what they're saying and it's absolutely hilarious because it's badly pronounced Spanish AND yet they're saying a full, elaborate script. This was such a great sketch. I think people would have to speak Spanish to fully appreciate the effect they're going for. PURE GENIUS from MADtv.

While the content didn't speak of politics, I really enjoyed that they portrayed them as just people and didn't just throw in a ton of stereotypes. In some ways I would consider the fact they did this as political in and of itself. Often with this kind of thing the joke is the other group or culture by throwing in stereotypes or things seen as bad components of the people but they almost refused to do this. It would have been very easy to get away with that in those days and may have even made them more popular than they were, instead they treated it as a regular goof on early star trek but in spanish until the end where a piñata came down and by then who cares, you've already proven it can be done well without the stereotypes.

They love that they are separating society instead of bringing Americans together as human beings as it had been for a minimum of twenty years prior to now. It's some pretty sick stuff. Having to be perfectly pc about everything is horrible. It makes people scared to think, much less speak. There's going to be some dumb interracial war because everything everyone is doing now is tearing Americans apart. Putting people down and expecting payback for anything people who are alive now had nothing to do with is silly. Every ethnicity has had strife to deal with in the past. You can't just pick and choose which history to change or ignore, or even turn heroes into villains because of how their time was. It's all so fake and messed up. This isn't political. That's the entire point. Everyone is sick of it if they are over 18 and don't need to find autonomy and self importance by being angry and acting like they are better than everyone else based on opinions.
this is at the peak of Mad TV's game.. all the best were there and the newer edition were able to compliment the older cast perfectly. This proves that Mad TV had the balls to try comedy in a different language something that SNL being too PC would never even consider.
PC has nothing to do with it, and despite how funny this was, Mad TV was hit and miss. Some sketches were awful same as SNL. After a few years they lost a lot of the og cast and some of the talented newbs and ended up quitting.
