One thing I would suggest, if you can, remove the brake line before the caliper is unbolted… sometimes those banjo bolts that hold the brake lines on the caliper are tight as hell if you aren’t using any power tools like an impact wrench to remove bolts.. leave it mounted and pull the line so you can get that extra leverage on the socket.
Was debating wether or not to do this job on my 2012 Si, this reassured me quite a bit I think I’ll try an tackle that… me and my buddy just did one on my work van and it was a son of a dog trying to disconnect and reconnect the ebrake cable - if this was anything like that I want no parts of it lol
Came across your video like God sent me here. I have to replace mine due to leaking. I believe its normal wear and tear. Only thing I need to know before removing this part, would I have to remove the brake line and bleed it out?
seeing the brake line installed would have been cool

Yes you have to bleed the line after you finish installing everything. Be safe and God bless.
I'm glade it helps you my friend.
Why did you take the last bracket off, you already had the caliber off and could have just changed that? Thanks
Disregard I see you get a new bracket as well.
