That's wonderful! It's puzzling to me when folks try to restrict other folks' musical preferences based on their ethnic background. I like all kinds of music. I tend to listen to different types of music when I'm in different moods. Everyone is free to enjoy the music that they prefer. Love and Blessings to you, have a Happy 4th of July!!!
Hillbilly . . . Ditto . . . stuck here in Australia. I had no idea Bark at the Moon had even been released apart from a 1 1/2 excerpt of that crappy clip on a afternoon teenage girl show in 1981. Ozzy literally got no coverage here in Oz, apart from very early morning radio & TV metal shows.
Saw this tour. With Motley Crue AND Waysted......we were 11 rows back on the floor. At the end of the show people were throwing wooden chairs AND the song So Tired was playing on the way out... 👍
Legend goes Motley Crue and Ozzy both went to rehab after that tour. Must have been a killer show! I saw Motley Crue on Girls Girls Girls then Dr Feelgood a few years later. Sadly I didn't get to see Ozzy till Ozzmosis, but have made up for lost time since then. Great video! Thanks for posting! : )
Bark at the moon was on WRNO album hour midnight 5 days a week. Yeah,I taped it the first time and bought 5 or 6 on CD/cassettes/vinyl. I kept wearing out my Ozzy records. I missed the concert working at the bowling alley. Arghhh!
Yeah, because it's a lame unstated remix. Who ever remixed it gutted the synths/keyboards and all of Jake E Lee's little guitar details and nuances. For example, the cool guitar "growl" that Jake does in the beginning of Bark At The Moon is missing, the keyboards are heavily buried in mix, and the echo effect has been changed too when Ozzy sings the word "gone". Another example, Rock 'N' Rebel is missing the beginning solo and some riffs too. And, I recall the bells sounding slightly different in the intro of Centre of Eternity too. That's all I can remember specifically, but I know for sure there is a lot more changes than that. Although, what's cool is that it seems YT and some streaming sites are presenting the original mix. But, if you or anybody wants a OG on CD or Vinyl you're going to have pick-up a second-hand copy either of the 95' remaster or one of those 80s pressing or reissues.
I'm just a black woman from LA and still in Baton Rouge fell in love with rock music when I heard Bark At the Moon. I STILL LOVE rock.

Saw the tour at the Nassau coliseum in Long Island NY. Carmine was drumming at the time. That was my 1st concert ever! Waysted, Motley Crue and Ozzy!
I was at the Ozzy Salt Lake City show. I'm 52 now and I remember the show like it was yesterday.
I was 16 when I saw that. I still remember fondly..

I never got to see Ozzy live. For whatever reason he didn't come to Knoxville, TN in the late 80's and 90's as far as I can remember.

Different subject, but what's your thoughts on the new song by John Sykes called "Out Alive"?
I love the bark at the moon video.
Dude I'm so jealous you got to see early solo Ozzy
The original version is good. The remastered version is different.

Great album.
I know I will get slammed for this, but I would much rather hear Bark At The Moon over Crazy Train.
Me too! I am really burnt out on Crazy Train.
