Just read a explanation from Meguiar's that the M200 basically replaces M205, same cut but less dusting, longer working time and easier wipe off. M210 is the one to use on even softer haze prone paint, according to Nick Winn from Meguiar's.
Looks like a really great one for either soft clear coat, or for when you just want to touch up something without taking a lot off. Particularly when paired with a less aggressive pad, looks like you can really dial this in to whatever is appropriate for the job, with not a lot of risk of overpolishing. Always appreciate your very valuable opinion Brian.
Thank you for your videos. I’m an older guy, driveway detailer,I’ve learn so much from watching you. That I even worked part time as a detailer at a dealership. I love keeping my cars looking nice. Could I put that polish on by hand and get good results. I do not have a buffer. Gary
Nice review Brian definitely have used a lot of their polishes and compounds back in the day. They fell behind the curb with so many good brands now. Definitely was curious on the new line up might have to grab some and try, thanks for everything.
@yanniobkirk5744 - All the time. I use 3D at work mostly, Optimum on my clients vehicles. I use Meguiar's in place of Optimum sometimes. I got rid of everything else though. Sonax, Koch, Rupes, CarPro. I still have a little Menzerna amd Jescar though. The more I use the Opti line though.... It would be very difficult for me to let that efficiency go.
hey brian shop looks great i have a 10k sq ft shop in r.i looking to purchase some hexagon lighting any thoughts theres so many out there? thank you keep up the great work!!
Brian could you tell me the name of the tape you used in the video and where you bought it! Has it ever damaged the paint? Grrat video as always!!! Thanks!!!
I did not know this product was out and it is good to see Meguiars updating their products. I wonder if they finally update their compounds? Thank you for a good video as this would be a good product for one of your polishing tests.
@@apexdetail85with all respect Brian, are you sure you're not thinking of 205? 210 is quite oily and has a practically infinite work time, but very little cut in my experience.
I was recently chatting with Meguiar’s, and this is supposed to be similar to M80 speed glaze, same cut at 4, long open time, easy wipe off, it is a cleaner/polish like M80. M83 is more aggressive, this M200 will finish better in one step.
Some of Meguires products I like. Their clay bars, liquid ceramic wax, ceramic detailer, and I do like their Ultimate Compound as well as Ultimate Polish. However i never cared for their commercial line of compounds, glazes, and polish. Never worked well for me
I always preferred the Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish over M105 and M205. I do really like M205, but Ultimate Polish never marred a finish for me, and I'd have to sometimes follow M205 with it - like a handful, but you don't want to be trying to figure out a solution when the clock is ticking.
I used the m200 on a buddy's black tahoe few weeks ago, it was a pain to wipe off. Wonder if I did something wrong. I used the black meguairs polishing pad, wonder if I should've used the yellow pad instead. His paint was in good shape, so I didn't see a need to go too rough w/ the cut.
What is your favorite Meguiar's polish?
Gold class
Papa cut and fabulous finish polish
M210
None
i'm just using the harbor freight stuff but may switch to this

Nice! I read the same, haven’t tried it yet, but am looking forward to the easy wipe off. 3D ONE is killing me
Used this on a few vehicles now! Nothing but a good experience for me. Even outdoors!

This is like the “Sonax Perfect finish” replacement
Perfect combo M100 & M200 at any paint , just choose the right set up of pads for you 🙌
It looks good, thank you Brian for showing us this.
Awesome review!!
I like the simple stuff...
Brian, the new place is looking boss.
Shine on you crazy diamond!
Thanks! Will do!
All I have been using are the euro fiber pads. Love them
Great informative video Brian 👊🏼💎
I have a black 2015 Denali Yukon XL…Will definitely be trying this ☝️👍…As always a great informative video. Stay safe and be blessed 🙏🙏

You could… with much more hard work.
But a buffer. You will not get good results on a whole car by hand. Not even close.
Thank you for this review, Brian. Couldn't tell if Sissy liked it?

Theu updated Ultimate Polish recently. That's been my favorite from them for YEARS. Eleven years to be exact..
Are you still using a lot of optimum polishes?

Seems pretty solid but ill stick with Phoenix eod papa cut and fabulous finish polish..
Awesome video and product review good friend
Thanks so much
Thanks Brian great video would say it’s close to like 3d speed or one and done thanks
Not a big Meguiar fan, but love your youtube channel!
Much appreciated!😁👍🏻
Are u gonna review the new rupes hlr 15 when it become available
Yes indeed.
Brian could you tell me the name of the tape you used in the video and where you bought it! Has it ever damaged the paint? Grrat video as always!!! Thanks!!!
3M precision. Safe for paint.
@@apexdetail85 thanks Brian!!
Great Video! Do you think this would reduce the scratches on my Alfa Romeo Giulia gloss black pillars if I did it by hand?

How does it compare to 3d AAT or ACA polish
I started with Maguiars 2 decades ago but, I haven't used it in a while.
How does it compare to 210?
Longer cycle time… less dusting
@@apexdetail85with all respect Brian, are you sure you're not thinking of 205?
210 is quite oily and has a practically infinite work time, but very little cut in my experience.
As typical Amazon has it for $31.28, more expensive than usual.
I've been using M83 for years. Would this be a good replacement for that or is M83 still better?

Just be careful about their trade secret oils. They may have been masking the true finish. Ultimate polish is known to do that.

What pads do you recommend for the m100 and m200.
Brian, how would this one compare to the 3D I-cut in overall performance/value.
Brian if you could only have one polisher what would it be d/a or rotary
How does it compare to Sonax Perfect Finish?
Can i apply a ceramic after using that and whipping it clean with an ipa whipe
It used to be gold class
How does it stand up against 3D one
